Your wingman is a cool guy Grim. He was unlucky in the end after evading all those missiles and landing on the emergency base.
Indian response was 4 Su30 MKI which was already flying CAP. 1 A50 with an Israeli Phalcon radar. 6 Mig21 scrambled from Srinagar AFB. 4 Mirages were scrambled from another AFB. 2 MiG 29 UPGs also flying CAP elsewhere were redirected. Mirages are 2000-5 standard armed with MICA AAMs. Su30s were armed with combination of R77s and python 5s. Mig21 had R77 and R73. Mig 21s took off from behind a mountain range...immediately had a F16 in its sight as it was going cold. Selected an R73 and pulled the trigger just before it was hit by a SAM.
we never shot down an F 16 that day, this propaganda has to stop.
As an Indian we were having no strategies no good planes

If US had put any such conditions, that they cannot use it against India, they would never sell AAMRAM missiles to Pakistan at first place.
If memory serves it was a condition for the purchase of F16 C&D Block 52s between '06 and '10 (Peace Drive 1) that the modernised F16s be only used for counter insurgency along the Afgan/Pakistan boarder. Pakistan has been using F-16s since 1983 (40 units from Peace Gate I and II) and also purchased 14 surplus F-16s of a unknown block from Jordan in '14.
if Pakistan used F-16s in the incident they had around 54 jets to choose from without breaching the Peace Drive agreement.

Just think who needs a platform like F 16 block 52+ just for COIN missions? And too it AIM 120C 5 AAMRAM 's! No it never was related to COIN but Pakistan's conventional defence needs. Yes PAF have used F 16' s starting from Sawat Valley campaign in 2009 upto the clearing of final militant strong hold in North Wazirstan, and so did mirages and JF 17 Thunder's.

Few Points to Add;
1. Kashmir Region is predominantly Mountainous so Terrain Masking would have been a core Infiltration Strategy for the PAF Strike Package.
2. EW Jamming & AWACS were active by both IAF & PAF during that timeline due to Heightened tensions and the Balakot Strikes prior to this operation.
3. A night raid on the followup day to Balakot Strikes was a clear cut prediction by IAF, however PAF choose a Day-Raid which gave them a Tactical Advantage that Morning.
4. The Strikes were on Military & IAF Targets to avoid international Backlash / circumvent Indian media rhetoric of civilian Terrorism, as per Military engagement ethos etc. Multiple Sources also put Indian Armed forces Upper Echelon officers at one of the target Buildings. Which were ultimately not bombed up to avoid full out Nuclear war as per planned strategy.
5. The Untimely downing of the Mil-17 IAF helicopter was pointed towards a combination of Human Error + No IFF by Mil-17 and possible extensive EW Jamming by PAF during the Raid Timeline.
6. IAF Package chasing PAF jets were lured into Pakistan Airspace under EW Jamming and were caught by F-16's on overwatch, which used AMRAAM's to great effect. Theory suggests the Su-30's were fired upon when still in IAF airspace by F-16's(Due to AMRAAM range), whereas the Mig-21 continued on without IAF AWACS support and was ultimately shot down.

Its surely seems audacious, however a strafing run from above / below on an unsuspecting four finger formation OR perhaps an unsuspecting formation just after takeoff gathering speed might prove to be easy picking. Actual records state 4 within a minute plus another 1 within the same sortie totaling to five. All IAF aircraft were Hawker Hunters whereas PAF had F-86 Sabre.

The moment su30s took off, Paf fired missiles at them and whole su30 formation went in defensive mode. They initiated evasive manouvers. 1 su30 was also shotdown your own media reported it. I'll also share the video proof of that news.

Can you do a reenactment of the 1967 Rolling Thunder mission in which John McCain was shot down? There were different types of aircraft involved but the main strike group was A-4 Skyhawks, conveniently available in DCS. It would be a short strike against a power plant in a city. To keep it simple, just use the attack aircraft and no blue or red fighters. I don't think fighters were an issue that day anyway. The main threat was a virtual butt load of SA-2 SAMS and tons of AAA. The goal would be for whoever is flying John McCains A-4 to make the strike and get back to the carrier. It would also involve at least 10 other A-4s as it was a large strike. You can even incorporate their SA-2 evasion maneuver:
“If we thought the SA-2 was homing in on us, we would try to keep our speed up until the missile was several seconds away and then barrel roll on our backs and pull vertically down,” said Roger Duter, a bomber pilot on the Oriskany with McCain. “At that time the missile was moving too fast to follow us down and we would recover and resume our course to the target.”

The Su 30 was shot down. The pilot bailed out and landed in Pakistan controlled Kashmir. He wa taken prisoner. The pilot turned out to be Israeli so the matter was hushed up by Pakistan. I am not sure if the pilot is still being held in Pakistan or returned.

Aditya Sinha, sorry, but your reply is incomprehensible. I do not know what you are trying to say. One pilot was Abhinandan who was returned after his MiG 21 was shot down. The other was the Su 30. The plane fell down in IoK, but the pilot bailed out and parachuted in PoK. He was taken prisoner. He turned out to be an Israeli. Haaretz newspaper of Israel had asked Pakistan to return the Israeli pilot. His fate is not clear as the Pak authorities are silent about him.

IAF had two Su-30,two upgraded Mirage -2000 and two MiG-21 Bisons in the theatre.Later on more were scrambled including Mig-29 UPGs but by that time PAF jets went cold.

Why Jefs painted Indian?
Definitely needed to have the F16 Blk 52s to protect the strike package sniping at the IAF Su30mkis and the Mig 21s. They were the only aircraft with actual kills. Mirage Vs had the H4 glide bombs firing at standoff distances.

At the end of swift retort Pakistan had complete air superiority over the Indian skies as a SU30 MKI was shot down so his partner backed off and ran away as PAF AIM-120 were longer ranged then the Russian BVR carried by SU30. Helicopter dispatched to find the SU30 crew was jammed which caused Indian air defense to shoot down it's own. The IAF Mirages ran off cause they couldn't see the PAF, lol jammed by JF17 jamming pods. MiG21 ran into our air space and got shot cause he was jammed by EW aircraft and he didn't know where the f&$k he was. PAF was the worst nightmare for the words 4th largest airforce IAF. Thanks to you guys screw up we know how talented and proeffsional the PAF actually is. Lol, also the Americans clarified they have no clause where Pakistan can't use the F16 against India. Logically thinking who else would we use a F16 against? Afghanistan? Why give Pakistan Aim120 if we won't use it against india? Will we use it against ISIS?

This is india's own doing, if we wanted to resolve the Kashmir conflict we would have conquered it along time back. Truth is Kashmir keeps India in check and maligns it on a global stage. Without Kashmir India has no other problems and is free to grow. Indians made the problem a lot bigger without any Pakistani intervention by abrogation of article 370, now the people who sided with India in Kashmir are non existent. I read that Pakistan is not allowed to use the AMRAAMS for the F16s against India, in the most recent conflict in which Pakistani F16s shot down a IAF Su-30 the Pakistani intelligence released a picture of a different serial number AMRAAM claiming it to be from a Malaysian contract IIRC with a rather crappy and obvious photoshop job.
