    Also if you plan to keep this thing for a daily for a long time bro I 150% suggest you do a head gasket head bolts timing belt water pump everything else you did is perfect but that is the number one thing when it comes to replacing the cooling system on these things you want to do the water pump because that could be where the water is coming from on the passenger side in the car is running also if timing belt snap on Honda's the motor is toast unless you're one in a million and it snaps at top dead center timing which almost never happens but when a timing belt snaps you'll bend valves all kinds of s*** so yeah make sure you do that tell you about water pump and head gasket if you want this thing to last till 3 or 400,000 also only run NGK spark plugs like the ones you put in when you get the best gas mileage and that's the OEM recommended for these and they run the best with them any other brands they do not like sorry I'm sure you know all this stuff bro just trying to give you pointers for the guy who's been a Honda head for years

    Hello I'm John and I own a Honda Civic ex model I rebuilt it but it is a v-tec motor run strong but if you plan on keeping it I do recommend you do a head gasket and timming belt on it as well so you don't have to have problem down the road they good little cars if you keep up the maintenance on them as well hope this helps take care 👍👍

    Hey what's up brother I'm not sure if you still have this car I've always been a 90's Honda guy I have a 95 Civic EX coupe that's my built track car and then I also have a super rare 2004 Honda Accord coupe V6 6 speed with the full hfp Honda factory performance body kit front lip rear left side skirt spoiler bigger Wheels leather heated seats only 500 ever made and with the kit V6 6-speed and cool but!!!!!!
    I have owned 15 Honda's most of them are Civic CRX Integra S2000 but my first car was almost this exact same car you have it was a 2005 Honda Civic EX model special edition with that body kit cold air intake after full exhaust Y8 intake manifold swap black leather interior was actually pretty quick for a single cam same color silver is yours too!!!!!!
    I just noticed something though when you pop the hood I thought all this special editions that came with that body kit were the ex model because ex comes with the d17a2 single cam VTEC and it should say VTEC on the valve cover then you would have 130 horsepower versus if that's a DX motor it's only around 100 horsepower if it is the ex model with the d17a2 you can actually build that motor no turbo no supercharger no nitrous and if you build the internals of that motor you can actually get it to be around 180 horsepower at the crank which is a k20 HP at the wheels yeah you might spend a little more money but believe me it is hilarious when I beat all my friends with their b-series in k-series h series dual cams my 95 Civic is actually a built d16 z6 all motor pushing 181 at the wheels I'm able to beat most b series and k-series that have intake headers exhaust yeah everybody says go dual overhead cam you can make more power in the end for easier and cheaper but I'm telling you being the underdog and smoking people and then pop the hood and they see a single cam it is hilarious how mad some people get when they lose to a single it will still get good gas mileage be fairly quick and reliable but yeah I was just curious if yours is even the ex VTEC motor the d17a2 or if you have the DX motor

    Excuse me, I have a question. I would really appreciate it if you could tell me where you got that body kit. I want one of those.

      Mine came with it from factory but here's a link to an aftermarket one: aeroworks.ca/products/04-05-honda-civic-oe-reverb-style-full-lip-kit-coupe-hfp-2004-2005-performance

    It looks like the RSX

      @MotorheadATX  Рік тому +2

      Yeah, it pretty much shares the same "chasis" as the rsx. I've seen some people swap seats, dash and door panels from the rsx. Also when you do a k20 or k24 swap you use alot of parts off of the rsx which bolt right on to these em2's.
