coil overs are good but lowering the car when its not meant to isnt it will put lots of stress on bushings and ball joints etc, the added spring rate from the coil overs is most likely enough to keep the light weight chassis from rolling more than stock so if you want it to be more reliable and sporty id recommend stock ride height and if you want less body roll just put in a bigger roll bar and some polyurethane bushings too edit:also speed bumps or steep driveways will be a pain in the ass with a low car

Short story I got my 1998 Honda Civic EX at the beginning of 2020 for $4000 flat from an old couple who had this car garage kept for almost 8 years. The seller did say he kept good care of the car and drove it twice a month and did regular maintenance. I personally thought the price was so-so, but the best thing about buying my civic was the fact that it only had 65K Original Miles with no forms of rust but little dings there & there, and the interior was in pristine condition.

I have a D17A2 powered 05 Civic and a K24A2 swapped 04 Civic (both 5 speed sedans) and I love the power of the K24, especially the low end torque. It's nice to be able to keep the RPM really low and not have to downshift all the time. However, I also like that I can really push the D17 Civic on the streets and floor it all the time without exceeding safe and legal speeds. Being able to drive it like I stole it without breaking any laws and still get 40+ MPG is great!

I like your look on simplicity. I actually really admire that, it's still a great daily driver, its fun and it's clean. Really good tips all around. And i did notice you didn't drop it terribly on the ground, ngl I hate it when people over do that. It shows they have no idea what the purpose is behind it all.
Hard to lower your car when you live in WV. Every driveway or somewhere u pull into, being low you aint making it 😂😂
ChurkaBurkaDurr WV is West Virginia? I was thinking of moving over there someday but I only drive lowered Honda’s & wasn’t aware of the driveways ur talking about😱
air bag it 😉
That was the best intro ive ever seen thru out my youtube watching career
haha thanks man!
Like if honda will forever be your brand 👍🏽
Why people hate on them so bad Vtecs have so much potential they fucking smoke lambos for fucks sake
“Sloppy like somebody’s girlfriend” is wild 😂😂
Dude you are crazy good narrator
You explain so good that you want to say
💪💪
Thanks man that means a lot!
I love how this video didn’t talk about cat back exhaust or cold air intake etc , all the points he went over make sense. Just traded my truck for a civic ex to save gas and literally the first thing I did was tear it apart inside so I can deep clean it 😂
BROOOOO YOUR JOKES!!!!!!! YOU ON FIRE MAN
True exhaust on underpowered Honda does usually sound like a bee hive but my d17a1 shoots flames now so that’s kinda cool
Getting mine this weekend I’m hella ready for it
It’s a good thing your mods are so tasteful and make sense. Unlike other kids there that works in Walmart or supermarket that bought a 350z or even a mommy or daddy bought doing stupid stuff like wide rims and stretch their tires stuff like that. Glad you did not go with that. Kudos to you bro.
