Lots of workouts are like "youre gonna need seven different dumbbells, 3 yoga mats, a resistance band, a bench and a chair" meanwhile this girl gets my back burning with no equipment! Loved it!
I mean, eventually you might still wanna get all those other equipments the better you get at these excercises.

I used to be the same way. I'm 32 DD, and for the longest time I couldn't lift my chest up enough, and I felt really bad about it. Eventually though, especially with this workout, I was able to do it, and I became a lot more flexible. You got this!
And then there’s me who’s chest doesn’t even touch the ground if I’m lifting me head up
Lol but the boobs are a pillow so you basically do have your chest elevated. You are trying to not lean into your chest, but pull back as much as you can, if you boobs touch the ground you are still doing it right :)
you’ll get it eventually! and even if u can’t, it’s definitely not ur fault. that’s like 30 pounds ur lifting up!!
Hi Jibby, I have diagnosed scoliosis and Scheuermann's disease, I have done physiotherapy, etc. Your backworkout helps me to be able to sit down on my desk to finish work, even if I don't know how to sit down, 10 minutes of your workout and I am able to sit down again. Sometimes, it's so painful, I lay down and can't get up anymore, even sneezing is hurting my back. So, I have made it a routine to do your workout every morning and your positive energy and easy instruction helps me to stay motivated. I love hearing your instructions, your very good explanations and the difference between beginner and intermediate.I am very thankful for this video, I will probably continue doing this for the rest of my life because it saves me from a lot of pain and is the best way to keep me engaged with the workouts. I could not thank you enough, just like my physical therapists and doctors. You're beautiful and friendly I can almost speak along with your motivational instructions and side remarks. I see you daily, you make my mornings better.

What changes have you seen?
I also did it. My posture got definetely better. I feel more stable, going up stairs is much easier, also my jogging training improved.

I’ve been doing a lot of these body weight back workouts on UA-cam lately and by far this one has been the most effective, I go back to it regularly and have been using it as a finisher for my pull up bar routine.

Did it yesterday, it wasn't extremely exhausting so I didn't think it would "work" a lot, but today I can feel achy muscles in my body everywhere, so there was a lot of effect to it - thank you, I will do this again!

Hey y’all! I started implementing this workout when this video first came out and it worked WONDERS! Sometimes I would switch it up but I always came back to this video. This workout has toned and strengthened my back so much. Even my posture improved! I definitely recommend everyone to try 10/10!

This is amazing. I paused in the middle (during rest) to give a thumb up. Couldn't wait till the end.
So I thought this was getting easy and not working because I had been doing this for a while but I kept doing this anyway because this is the best one I could find. And yesterday I saw my back, there is so much difference!!!!!
Almost 50% of my back fat is gone
Ofcourse along with this i have been eating healthy and doing different workouts everyday to keep it interesting.
This would usually be the time around which I stop working out but after seeing this result I'm never leaving.

Does this strengthen the whole back? I'm especially interested in lats, but I want my whole back to be stronger. Upper/middle/ and lower. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I don't know much about fitness. I recently started because of chronic pain issues
@@brucewayne3161 Hello Batman. ANYTHING you do movement wise, for strength for flexibility as a goal, will strengthen your back. This workout is a very good general routine for top to bottom of the back. I have issues, pain, tightness top to bottom lower middle upper shoulders neck. This workout is the best for me because it's easy to do with the sweet and kind instructor demonstrating , and the option of 30 or 45 seconds. For beginners and intermediate. It you do this workout daily, or say 3 times per week i promise you'll get results. The other thing you must do is see a physio therapist and get a series of movements that you can do in the morning to stretch your back muscles , and prep them for your long tortuous day .
I am lucky, I moved many years ago, to the " libtard heaven" social democracy of Germany, and I get up to 6 free sessions per problem( yeah i pay an ever rising co-payment now of 5 to 15 bucks per session. CREEPING AMERICANISM LAISSEZ FAIRE CAPITALISM!!! fuick reagen thatcher and kohl. and you suckers voted for them!! and bush, Clinton obama trump and biden. all whores to big medical and the insurance scam and big oil and defense pharma banksters. all the legal crooks) But 5 bucks per session? That's an incredible deal.
if I get a prescription from a doctor. And i have 9 times out of ten. that's BETTER THAN WHAT YOU GET I'll wager, BATMAN. So far I've gotten notes and therapy for my 1 neck, 2 middle back, 3 shoulders 4 lower back and 5 MY FINGERS. My fooking fingers, mate!! try getting that for free, as a piano player, in Oklahoma ???? NO WAY: I've gotten at least 7 or 8 prescriptions for physio in the last 15 years.
I am pianist, for 30 plus years, and my posture is horrible, The shoulder excercises I was given in physio , combined with a little yoga and workouts like these (and light weights training with barbells at home) completely eliminated my shoulder and neck pain and tightness issues.
4 i had lower back pain, constant, that centered around the base of my spine, and towards my sides, just above the waist.
this was 4, 5 years ago. I got 2, just TWO excercises from the physiotherapist that i do religiously, every morning, that take a total of
1 minute.
1st lying on your back. knees to chest, hands arms out to the side, flat on the bed, in a "crucified pose" then roll side to side ten times. continuous smooth motion, don't stretch farther or more than is comfortable.(it's a yoga stretch)
2nd stretch R leg and R arm to maximum (lying down) push out with your heel to get maximum stretch
arm hands flat on the bed,, reach and stretch above your head as far as you can stretch. Then with L leg and arm 10 times. continuous, smooth motion.
dont hold the stretches, just easy, continuous motion.
ONE MINUTE total. every day. 5 years. no pain. a little tightness on cold German winter mornings, but the exercise takes care of it.
(this one is identical to a Chi Gong stretch)
NO lower back pain in the last 5 years. Easy peasy 1 minute. Every day. Before i get up. EVERY day.
Some of these excercises she does are identical to the ones I got from my physio therapists.
They can give you the exercises you need for your specific problem. THat's the advantage.
They ve seen it all, and they know what YOU and your back need.
I am no exercise expert, but I have probably ALL the issues you have, as a pianist, and probably more
This workout is a great general workout and stretcher, and strengthener. It will work if you do it consistently.
If you can't afford physio therapy, there are vids for every possible back problem. keep looking, try em
any movement and strengthening exercise is good.

I love that this workout has a built in modification (the bell) so you can pick your level and encourages you to listen to your body. The rests make it way more attainable and doable than the ones that don't have rest breaks where I need to hit pause 80 times. Thanks for this awesome workout! I'm def subscribing ❤.

I actually really love this workout. I consider myself to be intermediate, and I thought the moves wouldn't do much but it felt like a good workout for toning or a safe one for rest days. Definitely enjoyed feeling my muscles work in a different way

I've been having shoulder and neck pain for months and physio hasn't been helping. My physio gave me a lot of front-focused exercises at first, but recently she said that back exercises might have been what I needed instead... So I was looking for some back exercise videos to speed up my recovery, but madfit didn't have any and she is the one exercise channel I've watched here on youtube. So glad she didn't have the video I needed coz that means I got to discover your channel! You can really tell how much effort you put into your editing, such a good video :D Can't believe you're only on 10k subs, that's such a crime!
Hey, thank you for this! I'm a powerlifter and my lower back has been a weak spot. I really appreciate how non-judgemental your video was because being able to lift a heavy weight but struggling with a bodyweight exercise has been really hard on my ego. I really struggled with that one where you slide your butt, but cobra push ups were my favourite. Thank you.

This workout is probably one of my favorites. I keep coming back to it every week because I can just feel it really working and strengthening my back. What also works great (for me) is doing the exercises slow and not in momentum, in many other videos I feel like its all about doing as many reps as possible :)

Im a student but during summers i work at a hotel as a cleaner and i recently had a shift and my lower back muscles WERE SCREAMING after my shift. That's when i knew i needed this workout, I did this today and PHEW it was rough, but I'm really hoping that this helps! Thanks for this!
I just discovered your channel by finding this workout and I'm really amazed by your work! These moves really got my back and I was able to push through this, that's exactly what I want to feel after a workout, exhausted, feeling that I did something, but not too exhausted.
Your instructions were good and the music just put me in such a good mood which helped me to finish the workout.
Plus, I love the concept of this video which makes it suitable for beginners as well as for intermediates. I've never seen this before in a video and I really like that!

Its been 3 months since ive been doing this workout. my back has gotten more firm and has some muscle which i love! in the beginning my back was just fat and bones, not really any shape or muscle, were in January of 2023 and im going for that Strong back look for the summer
