This season and next were peak still game i totally agree . The fact that you can see past the accent makes your reactions so much better as some will just giggle along and miss half the script. I really do think still game should be appreciated the same way Only fools and Faulty towers are but the accent holds it back , best sitcom to come out of scotland and possibly the uk .
In case you were wondering 'Finport' is totally fictional but i think its a play on 'Millport' a little island off Largs that is/was a popular holiday destination for Glaswegians. This was actually filmed in the town of Saltcoats , Ayrshire

Think you're right it's hard to pick a best episode from this series, that finale was probably mine tho. I've seen Dorothy Paul in some good things, one stage play in particular was very strong 'The Steamie'. Which you can watch online that version also has Peter Mullen.
Some say this is a second of a two parter.spoiler alert. Kevin were those tears of laughter or tears of joy?.

@@andywrong3247 personally I feel like should be "spoiler alert: episode about" then maybe 5 lines below say it as then don't show normally when view unless click see more
@mlee6050 yeah I get you most people have seen these programmes decades ago they don't usually watch because they've never seen before they watch to see Kevin's reaction. Can you imagine kevin watching dallas &somebody reveals shock horror spoiler alert who shot JR EWING.i think the only person who didn't know wwasthe Eskimo in his igloo lol.
