Superb performance. I watch this now and then to make me laugh and it never fails or gets old. Mr. Skinner is a master of stand-up. All his performances that I've watched via UA-cam are incredibly funny and entertaining, 10/10
So great to see comments from people who were at this gig.... I hope the guy who heckled him to get back to Bournemouth stops by.... I'd love to read the replies to him!
This is his best ever performance by far. He was completely in his element and disciplined in his life that he just oozed confidence and togetherness. Absolute genius.
@Nailtheday - you’re so right, he’s a master of his craft. He’s the comedian that first got me into comedy when I was a kid in the 90s when I watched Fantasy Football religiously every single week, then his chat show, his stand up specials, even his sitcom Blue Heaven. Being a young boy growing up in Willenhall in the 1980s and 90s (Willenhall is just a few miles from where Frank grew up in Oldbury) I didn’t see any people on TV who sounded like me and shared my cultural background, so to see Frank Skinner on TV was a revelation. It’s no exaggeration to say that Frank Skinner changed my life because my sense of humour was shaped by his comedy and knowing someone from my area could make it gave me so much self-belief, I felt I could take on the world. You’re right about going to see him live, I saw him last before Covid in Wolverhampton Civic Hall and he was incredible! His crowd work is the best in the business, it’s like watching a conductor of a orchestra, he’s able to keep so many lines of work going all at once. Not sure if he’s going to tour any time soon but if he does I’ll be there because our Frank is my hero. All the best mate, when was the last time you saw him live?
This was shown on C4 just after he had finished this tour , I taped it . There is only about an hour of it , I never knew there was so much more . Absolutely top drawer comedy , always loved him , funny as Fk . Brilliant , brilliant man .😂😂😂😂❤
This is fantastic 👏. Hadn't heard much about him before. Living in Tasmania, Australia we don't a lot of live shows. Will definitely be looking for more of his gigs on UA-cam. 😂
I will always find the ‘vice like grip’ 40:24 and the 😬face hilarious, one of the funniest bits in stand up I’ve ever seen, I keep coming back to it and I laugh hard watching it, the whole show is absolutely brilliant.
Brilliant! I remember being a student in Birmingham in the seventies when jasper carrot was only known locally. He was also absolutely brilliant! Happy days!
I remember watching this as a kid and laughing my head off, obviously not really knowing the context of it. Watching it again in my mid 20's and it's still hilarious.
Because I recorded from the original tv broadcast and have kept it ,on my tv hard drive since then, to watch when l want . Not that hard to understand really .
34:36 - I still think this joke is one of the best he’s ever done. Amazingly funny, yet an horrific image, all rolled into one! Spat my drink out at the punchline 😂
Me neither. I don't think he should have done Some Mother's Do 'ave Em ( or whatever it was called,). A proper comedian. So glad the UA-cam algorithm realised that I need to see this.
First time i've seen this. I was worried at first because the crowd sounded like they were booing in the beginning and within 28 mins they were totally loving Frank's performance. Amazing.
@@robbieflynn8821 Even thinking about that explosion has me in stitches ... It's extra funny because there wouldn't be any grieving relatives at the funeral .
@Nicholas Pagano Are you joking? Only time Izzard was funny was when he appeared on 'Question Time' dressed as Hetty Wainthropp. His outbursts of anger were slightly invalidated by his pink beret and clogs.
I've got this on video, still one of the best stand up routines ever
Skinner is funny as fuck! Saw this tour live! 90's music, culture, train spotting and Euro 96. Best decade ever! Spent it partying!

This is my first time watching Frank. I've been missing out, he's hilarious.
He’s one off the forgotten comics off the 90,s he’s an absolute genius👏👏
Who did u like b4 Frank?
@@musiclemon9267 my 2 favourites are Louis CK and Bill Burr. But Frank is now a favourite too. And Kevin Bridges.
It's a shame you're not hilarious too. Poor comment. Sorry but thought you'd want to know. I score it 4/10.

Can not believe i haven't watch skinner before.... Brilliant natural comic. !
TaskMaster is how I know of Skinner. Very glad to discover his work
I was at this gig! It were Brilliant. I was 18.
I was at the gig just 👏
Frank is a master of comedy, been lucky enough to see him a lot of times, if you can catch him, do. He’s an absolute legend
Or on You Tube.
one of the best I've seen, so relaxed with his audience interaction
doesn't seem to do many gigs now or if he does, not massively advertised- sadly I've only seen him live once in Belfast quite some time ago!

Wow he’s always be a great comedian and also his voice is great on radio
absolutely brilliant and it's good how he links back to some of the stuff from earlier on in the performance.
1998 and still fresh after all these years. Timeless....And I first knew him from Fry's QI. Brilliant.

Quite simply the best standup routine I've ever seen!
Ken Dodd?
Are you a bot, or have you only seen two stand up routines, the other being Hannah Gadsby?
This is a great set. Frank was class
The guy at 2:37 who is picking his nose has been a 'This is my' guest on Would I Lie To You!!
Cameron Bierman which celeb was he connected to?

A proper comedian.
So glad the UA-cam algorithm realised that I need to see this.
I’ve seen Frank live a few times. He’s still the best live stand up I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a few!
Still very accurate to this day- Richard saying the most inappropriate and brutal thing he could! And “you have to be careful what you say nowadays”!
When the support arm comes out.

SimonTheBonsaiGuy lol
Priceless from start to finish!
If you manage to get a hold of his autobiography, you should read it. It's absolutely brilliant.
The Siamese twins - “Any ideas on a best man? I’m fookin jokin with ya!” 😂😂😂
loved this!
what a legend, ive been searching for this for years!, cheers for the upload!
H autobiography is very good. This guy was so funny and interesting back in the 1990s.
Frank skinner is the best stand up comedian for the last 20 years
Not a chance
You'd be hard pressed to find better. He's a gem.
@Karl Wells Definitely agree, also Lee Mack and across the pond has to be Patrice O'Neal and Dave Chappelle

Peter Kay totally ripped off frank later on about bullseye - in a less funny way IMHO.
Haha just had a good laugh, happy 60th birthday frank

Has he been in west brom lately after his opening comment about Wolverhampton
That was a put down about Wolverhampton, they'd love that at West Brom :)
He looks like James Acaster's real dad here
Who?

Jimmy Carr, Lee Mack, The Pub Landlord (Al Murray), Paul Smith..?
