    Great video!! I love the advice. Especially number one ... seeing something as a whole can be very intimidating

      For sure, I would argue that it's the most important advice in the video

    Exactly, being an artist, failure is embraced and brings new knowledge, same as science but the end result is opposite, you want imperfections which makes it unique!

    Nice. I've been wanting to use Geometry Nodes but kept getting confused in the process.

    Hi Khamura
    I really like this video, you explain it very well.
    Can you make a other video to explain what are the attributs and especially WHEN we should use them and create them please ? Because why in some case they already exist and in the others they don't .
    Thanks a lot !

    Very inspiring for a newcomer like myself in Blender... and GeoNodes across the board! Blender just keeps feeling insanely non-efficient vs C4D... but it offers SO much more, relatively speaking because there are plugins for C4D that would level the playing field... DUM DUM DUM... at a cost. The operations between Blender & C4D is HUGE which makes it overwhelming for me. That being said, I'm sure it's just a matter of time to allow these new concepts to root themselves in my mind. Anyway, thanks for the tips.

      Yeah I'm sure it's not the easiest to switch from C4D to Blender but just keep at it and you will get into it

    Hi Khamura, a little help. I followed Insight 1: Compartmentalize, cube exercise step by step. I can't find "Distance Node". I'm using Blender version 3.3.1.
    I can say it for myself, that I found this video better explained which clearly explains Geometry Node.
    Thank you.

    can you make somethng that explains taking attributes? i see many people use that plus the small red nodes like position and normal but they remain a hard to understand concept to me. even after experimenting with them

    • @Khamurai
      @Khamurai  Рік тому

      Sure that sounds like a good idea and it's definitely something that is essential when working with geonodes

      My rule for remembering where attributes come from is to follow the line of wires to the right until you hit a node with a geometry (light green) input. (If there is more than one such input, take the topmost one.) Whatever geometry goes into this input is the source of the attribute.
      This also makes clear how “Capture Attribute” works: it lets you put that green input a little further back in the node graph, and then feed that attribute value forward from there.
