Hi Arkita - Currently, yes, the signing requires a live internet connection. The new version of EscrowTab includes an “airplane” mode functionality that will allow you to use EscrowTab without an internet connection during the signing. Once the signing is complete and you return to an internet connection, documents will be available to the title company to access. This new version will be released in the coming months.

Hi Justin, In-person electronic notarization (IPEN) has been around for more than 20 years and is approved for use in all 50 states in some form (please check your individual state’s laws for the specific requirements for IPENs or other electronic notarizations). More information can be fond here: www.nationalnotary.org/notary-bulletin/blog/2022/09/ipen-what-you-need-to-know-about-the-original-electronic-notarization

Amazing!! So if companies are not using this that could, I absolutely would want to tell them about it ! I think it would be a great way for me to introduce myself as a SNA . Could I get training on this in advance for practicing? I would love to be a sales representative along with my notary job . Do you do that by chance??
