Already knew: tea = cold survival
But now I’ve learned: Toppings = self care
Especially the brown butter.
Often I’ll do anything to avoid dirtying another pan… or for leftovers like that last bowl of butternut squash soup, I just won’t even think about it. Like, I’m cooking for one in my PJs, whatever. But there’s resilience in making it a tiny bit more special than you absolutely had to. Good for the spirit. Thanks Inga.

I also smell everything before I use it and most chefs and nutritionists told me it’s a great habit to have! You make sure what you’re using hasn’t gone bad and protect yourself!

I finally decided to make myself some good warm food for lunch because it is also cold here in Alberta Canada. We just had a wind chill of -42°C!!! Soup is the food of the soul, and I'm now taking my chicken bones out of the freezer so I can make more soup for dinner tonight. Love you Inga!! 💖
