so chill, Inga! watching your videos has this calming effect that is perfect for Saturday mornings. How can I tell you're ambitious like me? the over pour of tonic water, making fried tofu with soft tofu, and too bowl too small for the egg salad 😅. love it!
Hit me up if you need more ketchup chips! lays are ok, but there are better ones out there. Also, loved the use chop sticks to eat chops. equally effective for cheetos. 🙂 Oh and pro tip for keeping cool (or warm) keep your feet chilled (warmed)..
I just want you to know before you even got to drinking it the orange espresso tonic made me go straight to the store to get tonic and orange juice to make it it sounded so good (and is)!

One good thing about living in the UK - it can go from 35C one day to cold & rainy the next, so there's no need to fully commit to 'summer' food.
Of course that can mean you end up eating a big hearty stew on a hot day and a spicy cucumber salad on a cold one, but it mostly works out in the end.

I've revived an Australian favourite lately. I mash boiled eggs with a teaspoon of vegemite then have them in sandwiches. Such an umami bomb!
With mayo too or just pure egg+vegemite?

if the tofu is firm you can actually freeze in the freezer after taking out of the packet and squeezing out the excess liquid gently afterwards it will be a lot easy to work with and a lot spongy too

If your friend is going to bring more chips from Canada for you, All-Dressed are also delish (if you haven't tried them already). Also Old Dutch ketchup chips are debatably even better than Lays ketchups chips!
The All-Dressed Ruffles....😭😭😭 They don't sell them in the states anymore! Every time I have a chip craving, it's like my heart breaks a bit more each time.
All dressed is better than ketchup. Though spicy ketchup from Miss Vickie's is the best.

sugar, soy sauce and a bit of water is really all you need! but i also added mushroom powder and mirin for this one

Seems like you like sweet potato, so I would like you to try Daigaku Imo if you have a chance in your Japan trip. It's caramelized sweet potate. If you visit Tokyo, there is a specific place I want to recommend, Chibaya in Asakusa area. Their caramel sauce is good. Anyway, have a safe and fun trip!
