Inga you have NO idea how much of a comfort (and ideas!) these videos are giving me. I've been living abroad for a year now and I truly cannot survive without cooking myself my own comfort food that suits my tastebuds. Sometimes I do get tired of cooking and just lost appetite and eat whatever, but then once in awhile these videos come through and somehow always got me back to my appetites and gets me to cooking right away! lol
What you said about being caught between western and Eastern food, really struck me in the feels. I am always swinging between craving Korean food, and western food. When I’m in one place I crave the other and vice versa. Love your insights and videos
Hi Inga, I'm not the type to comment but I need you to know that I've been a huge fan of your channel ever since the start and you're one of my favourites to watch on youtube. I absolutely ADORE your stay-at-home cooking 3 meals a day vlogs. I drop everything whenever you release these videos! They aren't only cosy but they inspire me to really take care of myself by putting more care, creativity and effort into the meals I make. It looks so fun too. Thank you for sharing your life with us!!
"Can't brain right now" is SO relatable. 😂 And yes, I go back and forth between Asian and Western foods too! Definitely grateful to be able to enjoy both.
I came to see you eat the udon, watched you cook breakfast, enjoying it, sit through everything, then only remembered that I came for the udon when you said that you are cooking udon for lunch. I ended up watching the whole video. I haven’t been watching your videos in a while, and now I remember why I liked your videos. This is what I’d call as “aesthetically pleasing, but realistic cooking and eating” video. The little details such as your kitchen (that looks pretty but functional), the inside of your fridge (tidy but a lot of things are there), the smudged beef, and your little text commentaries 🤌 it feels like seeing a friend’s video. Thank you for making these, I hope you are showered with joy in life like I find joy in watching your videos!
You have no idea how cozy and therapeutic your videos are, in love with your personality and how you put that soft music in the background.. make your comfort food.. it’s just wholesome.. please post more.. so much love ❤
everytime I watch one your videos you are so beautiful and listening to you speak about the foods you love and experiences attached is so wholesome and heartwarming.
ok, hear me out right: those thicCCC udon, but with all the dipping sauces - a dashi-based sauce with at least five sea creatures, the classic Sichuan garlic chili oil, Taiwanese beef noodle soup stock reduced to tsukemen levels of thickness, two kinds of curry - Japanese and Thai, what else... the Filipino kare-kare (which is probably a cross between tantanmen and satay, flavor-wise)? HMMMMM Glad to see you back here, Inga!
your videos are so fun and calming to watch! sharing thoughts about cultures, food and also just daily slice of life stuff that makes me think about my perspectives :)
I just wanted to say that your videos bring me an insane sense of calm. Something about the way that you carry yourself just makes me feel so comfortable like we are close friends. I look forward to seeing more videos from you and know that your journey is real and we are all with you and recognize how much strength it takes to share your mental health journey on social media with a bunch of people you have never met. Next time I'm in New York I will keep an eye out for you on one of your iconic bagel runs:)
Whenever my mom makes taiwanese beef noodle soup she always puts the beef shank in the freezer for an hr or 2 so it is easier to cut into slices without it falling apart
Hi Inga, I really love your content! I just found out i have to start cooking at home more for my health and you are giving me hope it will be better than fine. Thank You ❤
truly, like I love making what I eat in a day video for my UA-cam channel I feel like they are amazing to give others inspiration and allow them to experience different cuisines
It’s been a while since I check your videos. And I just remembered why I love your channels so much! Your content is beautiful ❤ and love the way you blog!
After binge-watching your videos, since rediscovering your channel, it has never occurred to me to ask for any sort of recipe until I saw this beef noodle soup. I'm sure the internet has plenty of variations on said recipe. It's not good enough, I must taste the flavors your abilities have cooked up!
Whew. i wish i could just transport myself there & hang out with you all morning, imagining yu asked me to... Yu so soothing & calm. I think your subscribers really, really luv Yu.
You've been misssed.. Loved following your Asia travels but your "what I eat in a day" vids give me so much inspiration... I'm heading back to Japan and Vietnam next month.. and always so excited for the food..
for beef noodle soup, did you visit yongkang street in taiwan? i went there this summer and it's amazing, super traditional flavors and like TOP TIER memory lane. there's also a really good mango ice place like 2 minutes away so it's a perfect afternoon :D
Honestly, I switch up between American, Italian and Chinese all the time too. Sure, I'm Italian American and from SF, but I think it's pretty normal for Americans to be bi or tri cultural. I realized a long time ago that Chinese and Italians kind of understand each other WRT food and cooking.
It's 2:55 AM here in Brazil and I was about to go to bed hungry cuz I didn't want to prepare anything and then floss/brush my teeth again.. my ADHD brain couldn't pass on a very rare (these days..) Inga video and now my stomach is rumbling like a VW bug engine and I HAVE TO EAT SUMTHING! Thanks, Inga! 🙄😄
that what i was thinking...sausage grease pancake...lol how u go from 3 to 4 back to 3 sausage? did u eat one while cooking...lol i want some wide noodles like that, i would of use that noodle with that beef noodle u made!
I know its hard to resist. The two beef pieces let it overnight be in the fridge to firm up. Better make the beef pieces the day before, you make your beef noodles soup. Becos it was "too fresh" the beef was too warm and too loose. Hence it needed "the cold treatment" 🤣🤣🤣
lol, I'm a mad fan of McDonald's sausage egg McMuffins too! I don't get them very often though, I've been making my own egg muffins at home with just egg and maggi seasoning sauce in buttered english muffins. Still really good. I gave up cheese this year!
@oxanadc You see the response Eugenia Cooney is receiving. You need to get your health under control, then come back to youtube and grow your channel. Until then, people won't get past the obvious.

This is such a calming video :) Great music choice, it really fits the mood! Such a great video to unwind to!
try shaking above your shoulder, perpendicular to your body! it helps mix more thoroughly by creating more force when stuff hits the end of the shaker
"it's not even 6am yet…" not even 10 seconds in and this is already a mood, I love it

Do you have a recipe for the beef noodle soup or do you just wing it? It looks amazing!
The first minute of this video took me down a 20 minute rabbit hole of looking at Shakerato recipies :). Can't wait to try!!!

That soup looked so good. I wish there was a recipe
Those noodles look delicious. I absolutely love wide noodles.

Putting it in the freezer for 1hr also works! That's how my mom does it when she makes beef noodle soup
I need to stock udon noodles in my fridge/pantry.
Banana pancake recipe please! :D
I love your videos. ❤❤❤
What is that container you used in the beef stew?
Beef noodle soup! Yesss!
Made my evening better :))
Ahh I love seeing others eat nearly only soup in a day. Soup is great.
lol, I'm a mad fan of McDonald's sausage egg McMuffins too! I don't get them very often though, I've been making my own egg muffins at home with just egg and maggi seasoning sauce in buttered english muffins. Still really good. I gave up cheese this year!
Beef noodle soup cravings 🤤

omg I love your vlogs
Does anyone know the name of the udon she had? :)
I'm always so sad when your videos end! I don't think I can say that about any other channel.

@@Living_a_spoonie_life thank you for ur concern but my health is fine ☺️ again appreciate it but don’t just assume that I’m unwell without knowing
Add a bit of salt in your dark roast coffee to manage the bitterness.
what's that glass recipient you are boiling stuff in? seems like some sorcery to me
