DUUUDE!! That cookie crunch toast situation!! I have never heard of this before, but it reminds me of that sugary, crackly layer that goes on top of conchas. 😻 I also feel incredibly inspired to hit up my local Paris Baguette because that croissant loaf looks heavenly.
I'm honestly inspired by people like you that cooking for 1 person IS possible. I always cook for 4-6 people and I don't usually want to cook that much. What you cook gives me so much inspiration :)

I used to love cinnamon sugar toast as a child but I never thought of COOKIE TOAST!! Especially with the matcha added to temper the sweetness, that looks amazing :D
Sardine toast is my dad and I's favorite. Tomato sauce + oil-packed sardine + onion. Probably pretty punchy for a breakfast, but I love it so much!

I tried to look it up, but, I haven't found it. So far it's butter, I think powder sugar, and the white tube i thought Baking soda but I don't think so

I live for matcha melon pan, so that toast looks like what dreams are made of
a lazy toast I make sometimes is corn, mayo, and tuna. I usually make a batch to use up the whole cans and put what I don’t use in the fridge.
My two favorites toasts recently for breakfast, quick lunch or lazy dinner are :
1- One slice of whole wheat bread, toasted. A thin spread of butter to moist the bread a little, one slice of cheddar (any quality, I use the burger cheap slices for example haha), one scrambled egg on top, a slash of tomato ketchup and drops of tabasco or sriracha sauce. I'm eating this right now for my lazy sunday lunch ! With some crunchy fresh cucumbers on the side, any vegetables would work with it ! Even sautéed mushrooms 😍
2 - Same recipe but with sunny side eggs and no ketchup ! With some ham or bacon that's even better 💗
Have you ever seen those influencers who think they know how to cook well but ABSOLUTELY DO NOT!! I wish there was a way you could teach these people how to bake and cook the RIGHT WAY. Been a fan and subscriber for almost or possibly three years. I think you are super talented and interesting. Its too bad you can't do more vlogs, going out shopping for your groceries because you are in NYC, one of the most food diverse areas in the US. I absolutely love to see all the awesome grocers, restaurants, etc. I know you probably won't see this, but THANK YOU for sharing your positive, super talented self!😊🍓😊
My favorite toast is to cut a hole into the bread and put an egg in the middle and cook it in alittle bit of butter. Then i put pepper on the egg and apricot jam on the bread its sweet and savory all in one.

I make ginger scallion steamed sablefish all the time! My husband’s family loves it and always requests it for get togethers ☺️ Last month I made it for 10 people, I steamed 17 pieces of sablefish with 3 pans going. And not a single piece leftover!
I may have to try the seasoned soy fish you have! Yours looked so yummy!

If you have tamarind pods, I recommend microwaving a seed-worth of tamarind for 10 sec and then scraping it over toasted bread. You can use both sweet or savory toppings on this. I personally love some garlicky shrimp (and whatever leafy veggie I have on hand) on it.
i dont know if it counts as toast but i like to make cinnamon french toast and eat it with my favorite low sugar raspberry jam on top as a Saturday breakfast when i feel like having something sweet.

Hi Inga. I'm a NJ boy from the NYC suburbs who spent tons of time in the big city, especially Chinatown (1966-86). I learned (mostly by myself) how to cook from many countries all around the world but a HUGE part of that was Chinese cooking. I share your sweet tooth so the Macha Cookie toast made my eyes widen. You did a wonderful job on the steamed fish. I've been watching your content for years now (About to Eat for example). I'm very happy you have your own channel. Wishing you success and happiness.
