- Hello everyone! Today's videos is a detailed guide to filing the I-129 form. During this initial stage, the USCIS will review your I-129 form together with the additional attachments to ascertain that your relation is bonafied.

Hi my case status says ready on ceac, we received letter from nvc saying our case is forwarded to our embassy three months ago but we haven't heard from the embassy
Hi Sharon, you can call the embassy and ask them if they've received your application from the NVC. While on the phone with the customer care agent, find out if they will be sending you receipt confirmation via email. In my experience, I made a phone call to the embassy and soon after, my fiancee (the petitioner) got an email from the embassy confirming that they had received my application from the NVC! I'm not sure if that's still the process but it's worth a shot

- 5th May 2022 - When we petitioned for K1 Visa by submitting I -129 Form to the USCIS (First application of the K1 visa).
- 29th Sep 2023 - Interview date. You know your results immediately after the interview.

i was asked to provide police reports from the countries i worked in yet that was in 2009! anyways I will get them but I don't see how they relate to the visa😔
Hi Gladys. In my limited research I came across this rule:
If you are applying for an immigrant visa or a K-1 nonimmigrant visa through a U.S. embassy or consulate abroad, you will likely need to submit a police clearance certificate from each country you have lived since the age of 16.

@@Iam_cherono I’m glad you responded! I was at one of the embassies of the country I worked in and they said that the period I was there doesn’t warrant a police report so I’m working on an affidavit, this is my best shot now
