Would love to pick your brain on a question. How do you put the address down correctly where my fiance address is not like any other address. Like for example 891 east kisumu rd apt 8 then zip code but in her case there is no actual address so how did you get the address down. When I visit Kenya I was so confused on addresses
The addresses in Kenya are not typically as structured as in the US. Question, Is this for the 1-29 Form? Reason being, that it might be important that you are consistent with the same address submitted all throughout your application process.
There are 2 types of addresses in 1-29F: the mailing address and the physical address. I'm not sure which you are referring to...
@@Iam_cherono yes it’s for the k 1-visa and it’s for both. Her physical address for the past 5 years and her mailing address. I don’t know what to put down

Mailing address in Kenya usually is a P.O Box. So ask her what her P.O Box is. When filling in the form for example In my case, I filled out N/A for Zip Code but used the Postal Code for my town. For example, postal code for Kisumu is 40100. The province is Nyanza and country is def Kenya. We also tend to share postal addresses within family members. If she doesn't own one, she can ask her parents/siblings? Whatever mailing address she decides to use, she should be able to access it should embassy decide to send her a letter via mail. If she/ her family don't have a P.O Box, she can get one by contacting the postal offices.
On the form the format might look like what's shown below:
1(a) In Care of Name: N/A
b) Street Number and Name: P.O Box xxxx
c) Apt/Ste/Flr: N/A
d) City or Town: Kisumu
e) State: N/A
f) Zip code: N/A
g) Province: Nyanza
h) Postal code: 40100
i) Country: Kenya
Physical address is where she lives. Sounds like she is living in an apartment. Apartments tend to have names and house numbers. The goal is to use information that she has. My physical address format looked like the one shown below:

b) Apt ✔ /Ste/Flr: (Apt No e.g 2b)
c) City/Town: Kisumu
d) State: N/A
e) Zip Code: N/A
