This is the clearest guide ive watched for a long time. But I might be wrong!!!!! 🇬🇧❤️🇺🇸
I am working on my application now. This is sorry helpful, I was dreading doing it myself. But getting a lawyer is way too expensive at the moment. This is so helpful
You can do it yourself. I did it. Submitted it in December of 2023 and was approved in just 4 months. Now I am waiting to hear from the National Visa Center.
I’m downloading this video. I’m saving it. I’m bookmarking it. This is the best video i’ve ever seen explaining this information thank you for putting the work into this!
Amazing step by step video and support. Thank you. It is March 29th and I just mailed my I-129F. I am praying it goes smooth. Thank you again for your video.
Hello. I'm from Chile and I'm applying for the K-1 VISA. I have my appointment interview this September 24. I'm following everything you did step by step. Thanks for this useful information.
Thank you for making this so clear. I just got the NOA 1 today and we are super excited. God bless you for sharing the correct information. I agree with the other comments, you should have way more subscribers.
By far this is the most informative video about the K1 process. There are lots of videos about the K1/Fiancé Visa, but they skip very important steps. There is a lot that needs to be happening after the initial petition is approved but before the interview takes place, and I think this video really highlights that. Case in point- get your vaccines done as the Hep vaccine takes time. I am currently going through the process for my fiancé and just last week, USCIS approved the I-129 in just 4 months! Incredibly fast as I thought this first step would take long according to their wait times for processing.
Thank you for the thorough and informative video for the whole process. Gosh, it is overwhelming but exciting at the same time. Hopefully, we can just get a home run on the first run!!!
It is.. but honestly worth it.... we managed to do everything ourselves and now are living in the US with a green card in our hands... so you've got this! 🥰
Great video, but the tip about Hep B vaccine isn't accurate. from USCIS Q. Certain vaccine series can only be completed with multiple visits to the civil surgeon. Am I required to complete the entire series before the civil surgeon can sign the Form I-693? A. You are only required to receive a single dose of each vaccine when you visit the civil surgeon. You are encouraged to follow up with your private health care provider to complete the series. Once you have received the single dose appropriate at the time, the civil surgeon can sign and certify the Form I-693. The COVID-19 vaccine is the exception to this requirement. You must complete the COVID-19 vaccine primary series (for example, 1 or 2 doses, depending on which vaccine, in adults; 2 or 3 doses, depending on age and which vaccine, in children) and provide documentation of vaccination to the civil surgeon in person before completion of the medical examination. For more information about the COVID-19 vaccination requirement see the CDC Technical Instructions. l Instructions.
Hello ! Thank you so much for this video !! Did you do the I-129F Petition Form by written by hand or did you fill it out on the computer? Thank you very much for your response!
We typed it out... there should be a free download link in the description box to an unlocked version of the form :) You can either type or hand write or a mix of both on the form :)
Hi! Im so glad i found your channel! this is so helpful, as an American and Bolivian couple this is relief for us. Thank you for explaining so well! :)
Thank you for this video, and congratulations! My fiancé is also from the UK and we're in that period between NOA1 and NOA2. Your tips on things to do during this time were super welcome - having something to be proactive about right now makes the wait a little less unbearable!
Thank you sooo much for creating these! I was feeling so stressed about this process with my partner and now I am feeling more hopeful than ever. You really are the best!
and my fiance, in the Dominican Republic, just told me today how stressed she felt yesterday. The email I received says she has to make 2 appointments at the VAC AFTER she registers and creates a profile. She doesn't want to make any errors to prolong our case, and I am doing all I can do to help. I am researching and watching youtube videos everyday trying to give her more comfort in the process. I am always open to suggestions/answers. Our lawyer is currently working on the DS-160. I don't see how it wold take him over a week to fill it all out when he has all the information required. I gave him all the info for the I-134 too.
This is great information. Ultimately though once anyone gets to NOA2 and NVC, they must follow what their embassy guidelines are. Some countries cannot pay the DS-160 online nor can they schedule online. Again great resource but it’s ultimately the filers responsibility to do due diligence on what their country requires.
@@One-12937 actually it’s not. I could not pay online, I could not schedule my interview online, I had to get extra paperwork from the religious court for my country, scheduling medical was different and more. As I said, this was a very thorough video, but everyone has to follow their embassy instructions once they get to that step. There was nothing negative about this comment, it’s just adding the disclaimer as it’s shown through the comments advice that scheduling and paying online is possible, when most countries that’s not the case. Yes the process is essentially the same from the start, but after NVC to Embassy, it’s different.
Actually your video is amazing and really helpful to avoid thousands of lawyer's fees......there is no way to fear as long as you really intend to marry your loved ones ...Thank you ...
Hi, this video is so helpful! Thank you so much. Just wanted to clarify the ff also: 1. We missed out to write our names on our 2x2 photos submitted. Is that ok? 2. Will both petitioner and beneficiary receives notification on the status of the application via email/mail even if we did nit include the g-145? Thank you!
It's been a long nite, Great video, I have a BFF in Thailand and I, born in the US have visited her three times this year, we have traveled all over Thailand and are ready to get maried and I was wanting to confirm that these videos the right ones to use as guides to get her a visa to come to the US.
Great video! Our application is ready, but what happened to large notebook of proof we sent with initial 129F ? We need to make another & bring to interview? Or they send it back? Thank you
Hi congrats!! They won't send your application back. You don't need the original I-129F petition again, but for your visa interview I would suggest bringing further proof of your ongoing relationship as well as updated letters of intent to marry.
Im from England! And my fiance is from michigan we are just watching your videos so we can start the visa process! Thank u for all this help as we were going to go to a lawyer !
Thanks for the guide, this is a great video. I appreciate that you uploaded your k-1 visa journey for everyone to learn from. I will be using it as a road map in the upcoming months. God bless you and your family♥️
This video is amazing!. I have my medical on Monday and interview at the end of the month. I don't feel ready at all, we used the company rapid visa to help us with the process and its been a shambles from day 1. Now its time for my interview and I'm scrambling to get all the correct information from them, that I need to take. Had no idea that I needed to bring so much paperwork with me.
I'm so sorry to hear! Yes, a lot of paperwork is needed but some aspects are country specific. We tried to include the items that we took and a broader range just incase it might be needed for others too. Of course at your medical they may not need certain items.. but there is a set requirement of vaccinations you must have to immigrate on the K1 and also for adjustment of status
Thank you so much, God bless you both. So I don't understand where u said to file the form. The top said dallas lockbox but you circled Louisville address. Do I send it to the one You circled?
Thank you for this video! My k1 interview is in a couple days and i am so nervous!! Thankfully, I am making sure I have everything you have listed :) fingers crossed!
Actually I do have a question and it’s a bit frightening for me but I will ask anyway. My fiancé is from Ivory Coast but he came to Morocco to work however he did not obtain a legal status in Morocco and he has been here for about 7 years now . I just came to see him for the first time and I’m sure I will need to show evidence of that while applying , however my question is will that be an issue while applying for the K1 visa?.
I'm probably not the right person to ask as I'm not a legal expert, so it may be worthwhile consulting with one. However, my advice would to just be honest when filling out the forms. The forms don't specifically ask for proof of employment or status. All they're asking for is that you've met the requirements for the I-129f petition - and that you're in a genuine relationship who are willing to marry each other in the USA
I really appreciate this video, you are doing Gods work!! I am trying to start the I-129F but the parents part is the hardest, as both my parents are deceased from a young age and my mom who recently passed away in 2020, didn’t share much info with me as when she got married, I know she also had a previous marriage too but can’t find info, trying to track down marriage records in NJ but I don’t know the dates to even request the records
@@SurajandYasmin thank you! i looked around and it seems "deceased" is the best way to go and was able to put "unknown" for my (deceased) father and my partner's mother (estranged/no way of contacting) thank you for these videos for guidance and giving me hope to be able to fill it out as best as i can before submitting!! wishing you guys the best of luck in this journey and subscribed!
Hello! I finally received my K1 Visa!!! I will travel to the US next week! I was wondering how you were doing and if you have already started the adjustment of status process. I have all the docs ready for the next process and, honestly, the K1 Visa process seems more difficult (maybe because I will be with my future husband and it won't be as draining). I hope you are happy!
YAY! We have already filed for adjustment of status and had our biometrics appointment today. Now we're just waiting for USCIS to issue us a green card :)
My fiance and I still have have a long way yet. But I hired a immigration attorney for that Thank you for all the step by step process. Now I just need fiance to stay calm.
Your video is great! I do have a question, my fiance and I received the K1-FTP on March 12. We paid all our fees on line by March 28 and the status is READY. We are using a lawyer for the k1 visa. Our lawyer told us we have to wait for the welcome letter from the usa embassy in Sydney. My question to you is how long is this process before I should expect the welcome letter? I understand it all depends on the us embassy and the queue for open spots for interviews. I know the medical comes first. So, can you give me an estimated time I should expect the letter from the embassy? Is it 2 months or 3 months or could be longer? Ty again 17:01 for your amazing video! 17:3218:05
Awesome video!! Just a question when the beneficiary has the medical appointment will it be scheduled by the embassy or do we have to schedule somewhere? Thankyou so much
Thanks for the great videos ! Your videos have helped my fiancé and I through the process since February ! Our case just got changed to “ready” at the London embassy. Do you know if we must wait for the embassy to send the instructions letter prior to booking medical, interview and completing DS-160? Or can we go ahead and do these now without the instructions letter?
Thank you for this!!❤ So just for clarity, do you get the case number from the NVC before NOA2 or after NOA2? If after NOA2, do I just wait for another mail from the NVC Case number or is there something I have to do to get it?
Thank you that was so helpful, and for the vaccins do you really need to have them before going on a K1 visa ? Or you can have them once there to apply for a green card ?
You need to have at least the minimum dose of vaccinations.. but you can get them in the US... however at some point you'll have to have all of them. Here's more info regarding it www.cdc.gov/immigrant-refugee-health/hcp/panel-physicians/vaccination.html
Thank you for your precious information, actually I just never had hepatitis A and B doses and I know that they talk 5 to 6 months a part between doses.
Hey Yasmin! Does the state im living in make the process faster/slower for filing the finance visa? For example, does living in Virginia make the process for her to come quicker, compared to let’s say I was living in Texas or some other state? Or does it not matter which state you file from?
It does not unfortunately! No matter what a lawyer or anyone will tell you... the state you're located in doesn't make a difference at all. We were hoping it would but every case is sent to the California processing center
Thanks for the detailed info. I have a question. My fiance just filed the online application DS-160. Are we supposed to wait on the NVC to let us know on the next step? basically trying to figure out how to schedule the interview. Thanks.
Thank you SO much for this! It is incredibly helpful. I would have two questions, if someone can please help: 1. When you finally receive the K1 visa from the American embassy in your country, do you have a deadline to fly to the US? 2. Can you explain the process of getting a work permit to work while getting the adjustment of status? Thank you!!
Thank you :) 1. You do have to enter the US by a certain time frame but I can't remember from the top of my head 2. We have a video on AOS which includes the form to obtain a work permit :) ua-cam.com/video/TLaUhIiEzZc/v-deo.html
Hello!!! Thanks for these videos. I wanted to ask you if I (the beneficiary) could pay for the I-129F fee instead of my boyfriend (the petitioner). Ty!
Thanks for the video, I find it really helpful as we are about to file. But my question is, is it only the Dallas center the petition can be mailed to?
Here are the two mailing addresses where you can send your application to. However ultimately it'll end up in California at their processing centre U.S. Postal Service (USPS): USCIS Attn: I-129F P.O. Box 660151 Dallas, TX 75266-0151 FedEx, UPS, and DHL deliveries: USCIS Attn: I-129F (Box 660151) 2501 South State Highway 121 Business Suite 400 Lewisville, TX 75067-8003
Thank you for a great video! I was wondering where can I find the invoice number? Is this received via mail in a separate document? TY for all of your help!
Thank you! Do you mean the invoice number from NVC? If they haven't sent you one, you can ask for yours via this link travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html
Thank you!! After your NOA2 your case will go to the NVC. When your case is 'READY' you can book your medical, fill out the DS160 & book your embassy appointment
Thank you so much for making this process so much easier. I was able to send my packet feeling confident. Thanks again for making so many videos explaining everything there is to know about the process. 😊
this is so helpful and thorough - thank you! just a quick question as we’re in the same boat, I lived in the US for a year and am seeing conflicting information about needing a US police certificate (some say it’s not necessary as they’re already doing their own background checks) - did you need this and did you acquire this through the FBI website or an in-person visit? Thank you so much!💕
Thank you! You actually don't need an FBI /US police certificate... for any other country yes... but not the US.... sorry... we got ours just incase but didn't actually need it :) Hope that clarifies things a bit :)
It is the best explanation video ever! Thdnk you so much, quick question. After the case is in status ready, you can submit ds 160 immediately or you can wait until all the documents are ready. I need police certificates from several countries, and I am worried for the time frames. Thank you once again!
I'd probably wait nearer the time because the DS-160 expires after 30 days.. but you could watch our video on the DS-160 and write all the info you'll need to fill out on a piece of paper so you can copy & paste when the time comes. Hope that helps :)
Thank you so much for all of the information you have provided. My fiancée and I are just about to submit our K1 packet thanks to your videos! I had a question about the vaccinations. I am a UK citizen and have all of the vaccinations on the USCIS website except for Hepatitis B, so I plan on getting that done ASAP. However the required vaccination list on the USCIS website you showed, is a smaller list than the one on state.gov lit which is linked as a FAQ, and is different than the vaccinations offered at the medical exam. Should I stick with the USCIS list or get all of the additional ones listed on the travel.state.gov list? Thank you so much for everything!!
Your videos are so informative and thank you for the correct informations Got Approved from USCIS and waiting for NOA-2. How long does it take normally?
Thank you very much for all the information. My fiancé has been approved, and I have received the approval paperwork. I am now waiting for the next step. My question is about the DS-60 form. My fiancé lives and works in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Can I fill out the DS-60 form for her from the United States? The 2nd question: She changed to a new job. I heard you say we can fix this on the DS-60 form? And the last question: How and when do I start the next step after I get the approval letter? Do I wait 2 weeks, and they will send me the next step? Please help.

You can do it yourself. I did it. Submitted it in December of 2023 and was approved in just 4 months. Now I am waiting to hear from the National Visa Center.

The best video breaking down the steps to file for a K1 Visa, thank you 🙌
Thank you for watching! 😊
This is so valuable! Thank you sooo much!!!
thank you for watching!! : )
Super, super helpful. Thank you.
Great video, but the tip about Hep B vaccine isn't accurate.
from USCIS

Where did u reached??
@@khadijasultan7879 We got our NOA2 January 17, he had his visa interview April 18, and he’s arriving in the US on June 14!
Thank you sooo much for creating these! I was feeling so stressed about this process with my partner and now I am feeling more hopeful than ever. You really are the best!
I am SO glad it helped! 😊
and my fiance, in the Dominican Republic, just told me today how stressed she felt yesterday.
I completely agree with you! This info is based on our personal experience only. Everyone's case & circumstance will be different :)
This was one of the most thorough videos though that I’ve seen. You broke it down very simple.
Should be the same, your comment seems kind of banal, just the payment method different but the process is still the same.
One of the best videos I've ever watched, very informative, we just got approved yesterday and currently waiting to receive the NOA 2.
Thank you!

A waiver can be obtained as a separate document for those who do not take any vaccinations for religious reasons. There is an extra cost for that.

Thank you so much I really appreciate this video , I plan on starting the K1 visa soon.
Yay! If you have any questions please feel free to ask :)
@@SurajandYasmin Thank you so much I really appreciate you taking out the time to reply back to me .

Thank you! :) You can write 'Deceased' in the fields where it asks for parents info.

Awesome video!! Just a question when the beneficiary has the medical appointment will it be scheduled by the embassy or do we have to schedule somewhere? Thankyou so much
I think it may be country specific. But in our case we had to book our own medical appointment (in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧)
omg, muchas gracias!! thanks you a lot for the video, it is so helpful
You're very welcome! ☺️
Thank you for this!!❤
So just for clarity, do you get the case number from the NVC before NOA2 or after NOA2?
If after NOA2, do I just wait for another mail from the NVC Case number or is there something I have to do to get it?
You get it from NVC after the NOA2. We're going to upload a video on how to get it from NVC :)

I would have two questions, if someone can please help:
1. When you finally receive the K1 visa from the American embassy in your country, do you have a deadline to fly to the US?
2. Can you explain the process of getting a work permit to work while getting the adjustment of status?

this is so helpful and thorough - thank you! just a quick question as we’re in the same boat, I lived in the US for a year and am seeing conflicting information about needing a US police certificate (some say it’s not necessary as they’re already doing their own background checks) - did you need this and did you acquire this through the FBI website or an in-person visit? Thank you so much!💕
Thank you! You actually don't need an FBI /US police certificate... for any other country yes... but not the US.... sorry... we got ours just incase but didn't actually need it :) Hope that clarifies things a bit :)
@@SurajandYasminthat’s really helpful, thank you so much - sending you all the best 💕
Btw, thanks for sharing your videos! This is a big help for me and for other who are planning to apply k1 visa❤️🙏
Yay! So happy for you! 🎉
I would stick to the USCIS. Visa medicals in London uses this list: www.cdc.gov/immigrant-refugee-health/hcp/panel-physicians/vaccination.html
