Do you think that fat is more important than protein for protein is hard to break down and high amounts of protein becomes undigested protein. Therefore fat in higher amounts then protein.

I’m on my third week of eating high protein and I think it’s changed my entire life already haha. I used to crave food and never be satisfied even when overly stuffed from over eating. I realized that I’m probably not getting more than 20g of protein a day. First two weeks I have upped it to 50g these past four days and the beginning of my 3rd week I’ve been getting 30-50g just for breakfast alone plus what I get from lunch and dinner. I’m eating way less but I am so full and satisfied. Haven’t had food cravings and haven’t binged. My goal is to lose weight but even if I don’t I don’t think I’ll ever go back to how I ate before because I feel so good. Love your video!

This is one of the best videos you've ever made. I'm not much of a breakfast eater but what I've been doing the last few months is taking my decaf, adding a scoop of the prime beef isolate protein powder and a big chunk of butter, stirring it up and that's my breakfast. But in the past I have put a whole egg in and you don't even notice it , I'm just too lazy to clean the blender every day. I love my sardines and I also love mixing of them with an egg and frying up little patties. I eat a lot of ribeye because I get it for $9 a pound at the local restaurant supply store. I own a bar but you don't have to own a restaurant or bar to go there, anyone can and the meat cuts are usually cheaper because you're buying in bulk. One treat I also like is to add a scoop of beef isolate protein powder to full fat Greek yogurt, it's so good. I've tried the chocolate and the peanut butter and we'll get vanilla next time. I've been doing this way of eating for 11 months and I'm not as diligent as I could be, but that's my New Year's resolution. I'm 50 and I do weightlifting, yoga, walks and sprints in the woods. Love you girl! Keep up the good work! 🩷🥩🫒🥚🍤 🧀 🫐 🥒🍗🥓🌶️🍔

Carnivore foords are more "sustainable" than plant-based foods, which are highly processed and contain little bio-available protein. Animals are often raised on land that is not considered arable, and the animals forage on foods we cannot eat: then convert forage to 100% bioavailable foods for us.

I bought pork loin on sale, cut it into chunks, fry in cast iron, and season with your choice of salt/seasonings. It's so good! It doesn't dry out like a pork loin sometimes does in the oven.. Same for steak. I've used sirloin or New York strip and chunk it, fry in the skillet, season, then bonus: I mix some bleu cheese and butter together to make a sauce and dip it. OH MAN! • @tinajernigan1728
      @tinajernigan1728 8 місяців тому +6

The answer isn't to count calories because most people don't have time to keep that up. The answer is to change what you eat. Cut out 98% of refined sugar and eat sweet things that are naturally sweet instead. Apples, oranges, grapes, bananas and lemons. Even carrots and sweet potatoes are sweet. Sugar is a drug. Also, mindset is important. You can lose all the weight you need to in the next 12 months if you change what you eat. A salad does help. I eat one at least 4 days a week. Beans have protein and fiber, and they are filling, so eat beans often. Remember to keep it simple and it isn't hard to make healthy meals. It's just about changing habits.

Bingo!! I heard this a while back but not in the same way. Our bodies will signal hunger until we give it adequate nutrition. Protein is definitely KEY! (It comes with fat that helps with satiation) Thank you for this!! I am definitely upping my protein!! (Grazing all day also keeps our insulin overworking and keeping up the cravings) There's a difference between WANTING to eat and NEEDING to eat)

I agree. I realized I wasn’t eating enough protein and I was starving. I was eating less than 110-120 grams a day. I increased that to about 160-170 grams and am usually too stuffed to want to graze or eat snacks throughout the day. It changed my life

Loved this video! My Mom has been a strict carnivore for a full year and she's never looked or felt better. Gave her a hard time about it, but it's hard to argue with results. I never realized how little protein I was eating. No wonder I was always hungry. I now try to get at least 30g of protein at every meal, which ususally means eating a hardboiled egg after lunch and dinner to get that number up. I haven't felt the need for a late night snack in weeks. There's even a stash of candy bars in my pantry I haven't touched. I'm finally full.

My sister was athletic, a meat eater. She was fit. Fast forward, I learned how to grill and cook meat the way I like it with plenty of salt, pepper, onion and garlic pepper and am now smaller than my sister.

Just like every woman struggling with weight loss now, I yoyoed for years - staying on track for a month or 2, losing a few lbs in the process before falling off. And each time I fell off, I just gained the weight back plus more. In July 2021, I was at my heaviest - 255 lbs... See full story on my channel.

I've never heard the weight to gram ratio before so really pleased to know the guidelines. I feel so much better now that I understand where I might be going wrong and I'll try not to be so hard on myself. I am stunned! Only after 3 days of forcing 120 grams of protein in me I have finally, after 10 or more years I have dropped 3 pounds. No matter what I did or how I hard tried nothing. I am not fat, I just wanted to lose about 15 lbs. To be about 130 lbs. One thing: You say I will be hungry until I eat my protein limit. So I will always be hungry until the end of the day about 4-5 o'clock? That doesn't make sense even though it is working. Don't get me wrong I am truly amazed that the weight is coming off. But I have to be hungry all day.???? I have to force 120 grams of protein. I am not a big eater. Aso after stuffing down 120 or more grams of protein I am still starving.

Lillie, I LOVED this video. I have been trying to figure out how much protein. Oh my goodness. I was on the right track but not eating enough. Plus, I got great ideas for meals from this video. The only food that I haven’t enjoyed much is sardines. I am going to try them again made like you show in your video. I was eating them out of the can. Funny thing is I loved them when I was a kid. My father ate them all of the time. He was a fighter pilot but guess who knew what he was doing to stay healthy and trim? LOL He had to be able to put his flying suit on and zip it all the way up. LOL I remember those days like yesterday. Anyway, thank you so much Lillie. What a tremendous video! I have chicken thighs planned for today. I have no problem eating 4 thighs for a meal and am cooking 4 today. I usually braise the, but maybe today I’ll air fry them. YUMMY! I’m so excited to get on the “protein train”; the correct amount! 😊

Your little pancake maker can make a great bun using half of the following (in other words, this makes two buns):
1 egg blended into the following, all of which you want to first mix together:
    42g mozzarella cheese, shredded
    1 tsp psyllium husk powder
1/2 tsp baking powder (may work with 1/4 tsp)
Cook for about five minutes or shortly after it stops steaming. Cool on a rack for five minutes or so.
For extra credit, with a good knife, you can split that bun into two sandwich thins. I use this for burgers, toasted. I use a bread slicer as a guide.
    PS: I can overeat ribeye.

I love protein and eat a lot of it; in fact, my body never really seems to feel hungry. But I never see fat loss either and still crave sugar from time to time, as well as get mood swings and swelling of the joints. I only eat Meat and have been for 8 months. I see better digestion without all the pain. For example, I have had 774 grams of Steak, which, based on this cut, would have 194.7 gm of protein. My goal weight should be 220 lbs, which works into the need to eat again to get the protein up, but I am not confident I am eating the minimum amount; I am probably double the minimum amount.
