We had to stop listening to him too. We wouldn't go to a dentist with no teeth. So why listen to a doctor that isn't in shape. ❤
There is something not quite right with Grundy's POV it just doesn't sit well with me.
Lectins can be a problem but You can Pressure cook. I follow Paul saladino. I want to eat like people used to. Dr gundry is thin But he's not fit because of his stance on
Protein. He thinks we only need 20 mg.
Right! You have to consider the source.
The worst part is he is a Yale educated doctor. He has more credentials than just about all health channels on UA-cam. He’s a surgeon as well. The real issue is how much of a pill pusher he is for his supplements. Had to stop listening to him.
Grundy is a cash grab! He gives all this info about health then he goes into sales mode and gives a sales pitch. I never did his advice, didn't agree with it!
Hello!!! There’s a law in physics called law of displacement …. If you eliminate something, you must replace it with something else. Sugar cravings won’t go away until the sugar molecule is replaced by an optimal substitute. I traded sugar and seed oils for butter and animal fat. OMG! I now feel satiated. No more cravings.
Good point
I did a small stint on carnivore. I craved fruit like crazy.
And no matter how much fat I ate, that craving never went away.
And yet she recommends you have 2 cups of milk with your meal. Thats 25 grams of sugar.
Try raisins, dried cranberries and mixed nuts.
Ive been on carnivore for two months now and my body is doing much better! I do crave sugars though and heavy animal fats curb hunger and cravings. I noticed if I drink regular grocery store milk…any brand, it’s extremely sweet. Didn’t notice that before carnivore. When I drink fresh from the farm milk from a local farmer…tasty, satiating, and not as sweet.
64 5'10 173 and still pumping iron until I die. I gave up a lot of stuff and lost 30 pounds of weight that wasn't real noticeable. But i can see my abs again. I do however like honey in my coffee and milk. I eat sliced fried in butter potatos with my eggs. And on the weekend i treat myself to some peanut butter cups. I will never be 100 percent canivore. I don't hardly ever have fruits or veggies anymore. Mostly hamburger, chicken and eggs. My father passed at 93 . I take no meds , don't take jabs, don't wear a mask and don't go to the doctors.

Diet confusion is a real thing. Thanks for providing some sanity.
Diet isn’t confusing it’s easy and simple. Eat mainly whole foods, and make sure protein and fats are with each meal. Simple.
Some Whole foods are: avocados, eggs, meat, cheese, yoghurt, veggies, fruit etc
Exactly. Nailed it. If reese's still can expand and fast food restaurants still growing, people have failed to accept that THIS is the first things to change
When I was on keto I was told to use the KISS method ... keep it simple stupid. People overthink keto when it's actually really easy ... But I did a lot of research before I started. Thank goodness for lists on pinterest!!

that's too bad, I eat cake almost every day! Bravo....a video that makes sense. I hear so much and it is so confusing to eat nowadays. Thanks for breaking it all down
I forget where I heard it but this youtuber was talking about how we will condemn a food because of ONE bad ingredient and yet praise another one because of ONE good ingredient.
Being carnivore for 7 months, went to a church function and took one bite of a store baked cookie. It tasted like pure chemical.
Don't like the taste of bleached flour and vegetable oils? 😂
Store cookies do taste weird! I make most things from scratch and when I have a store cookie I’m always disappointed
I love how reasonable and rationalable and sane you come across in comparison to some of the other health diet UA-camrs that I follow. You really did a great job explaining a lot of these topics in one short concise video.
I've been having a hard time explaining to some of my family members some of my diet choices and this seems like a good video for me to share with them.
That's all just wanted to say thanks for doing such a great job on your videos and helping people learn about all these topics
Thank you so much for making such a simple plan. I have been overwhelmed with other formulas, calculations, and tracking. This is brilliant.
This makes sense. I’ve gotten to the point where I’m having anxiety about what I eat. Depending on who you listen to something is killing you. I have severe inflammation, but I just can’t figure out what to eat from day to day.
Don’t over complicate it just focus on eating mainly whole foods like: cheese, yoghurt, meat, fish, veggies, avocados, fruits indulge in daily fasting and drink water
I myself only eat once everyday, sometimes I don’t eat , like today I just had toast with butter and butternut squash soup and some grilled chicken.
Agree.
For someone who has tried almost everything this answer is not really helpful.
Yes, over complicating nutrition doesn't help and stresses the body on several levels.
But cheese or yoghurt is for some people already terrible adcice..So it is not THAT simple for everyone out there.
My adcice if really nothing else works: lion diet with at least 30 days and introducing slowly one by one with food diary. Insane amount of discipline and work needed but then someone really knows his own diet

Anxiety and depression, attention/focus issues, etc. are so prevalent because we are so malnourished in modern society. Whether from Not consuming what we need or Not being able to utilize what we eat.
My theory is the overconsumption of bad carbs, and underconsumption of good fats is the main contributor to these ills. Your brain 🧠 NEEDS GOOD FAT!
@@tracyd2598 that's certainly part of it! I have been carnivore for 10 months, my wife wanted to improve her health two weeks ago but wanted to eat leafy greens. So we decided to go ketovore to eat together. It was pleasing to me to add varieties but gave me terrible inflammation.
yep. Carnivore never fixed anything unfortunately.
It can't fix other foods, even if you are tolerant of oxalates they are probably still damaging
Completely changed my life, best thing I ever done health wise
Just eat the same proteins together and skip the veggies... good to have the experience of reintroduction results tho
I was on a heavy oxalate keto Dr Gundry approved diet that was lectin free and heavy plant based for three years. I initially felt better off processed foods. Then felt worse. Low energy, sore joints, slow recovery from exercise, and kidney stones that required surgery. I had oxalate dust on my cheeks, coming from my eyes, and in my urine. When I quit that diet cold turkey for carnivore, I went through oxalate dumping (so painful). I’ve been carnivore for over a year now I feel great now. Lost 30 pounds, no more joint and foot pain, brain fog gone, corrected hormonal issues, better energy, improved muscle building, no more IBS! The list goes on. I only eat foods I like now and listen to my body.
Keep in mind that the concept of oxalate dumping is mostly based on anecdotal evidence, and there’s currently no research available to determine whether it occurs
I went thru exact same process as you! I was actually doing vegan keto. My diet was 100% high oxalate foods (tofu, almonds, spinach, avocado, etc.) I quickly ended up w kidney stones requiring 3 surgeries. One stone was 17mm.
When I did BBBE carnivore I had a severe dumping... crystals in my hair and coming thru my skin while I slept. It's absolutely for real. However, I didn't experience pain w the dumping. Just fatigue & slept a lot. Carnivore I quickly lost 30 lbs but went off due to emotional eating. Still working on that part but I know for sure carnivore is best diet for me.
I will say I think not everyone is as oxalate sensitive as others. Kidney stones run in my family but for sure oxalates are the source.
I've read many, many comments of the same things happening with oxaIates and many, many vids address this. AIthough not everyone is affected so severeIy it seems to be common enough to be receiving a great deaI of attention. Thanks for sharing your experiences, it wiII heIp others.

Never seen you before but so glad I've met you now! You talk more sense than I've heard anybody speak on this topic! Many thanks! I'm much older than you & wish I'd known this at your age! Although to be honest I was actually eating these foods by default ( ok with the sugary stuff thrown in too!) while growung up & being continually reprimanded for NOT eating any veg...ironically forcing myself to do so as I've got older!! Consequently the more I've tried to eat a 'healthier' diet & getting my "5 a day" (fruir & veg) ...the more unwell I've become....now you've helped me understand why!!
