@@katcorot yikes lol
@@katcorot I'm lucky i read the comments before writing something almost the same
From Vancouver, can confirm this is pretty standard. Crazy that you only have to test once in your life to operate a metal death machine.
I keep saying it...every 5 years, people should be tested. It will save many lives and insurance.
@@Schroefdoppie lol how will that help? It will eliminate only a couple stupid boomers, but it won't help with the speeders, drunks, distracted drivers, road ragers, ppl with bad reflexes, ppl who don't maintain their cars, unsecure loads and insurance scammers. There's like 50 000 things a test won't discover
@@Schroefdoppie Also, there's way too many left turns u have to take blindly like at 6:24. Many intersections are way worse than that. Intersection technology is 40 years behind where it should be.
@@BenLA5 it will eliminate a couple stupid boomers which is a hell of a lot than it seems
i meannnn we're already pretty good considering we need to get and L and N first, problem is international drivers don need to got through that....
As a bus driver in Vancouver
I love showing people these videos
I see this crazy shite all day long lol
Keep up the great work!
Oh man being a bus driver in Vancouver must be so annoying! 😅
@@vancouversworstdrivers need a bus cam
@@katcorot seriously though!
@@katcorot I second that..... Bus driver cam would show the super crazy
@@katcorot buses actually DO have several cams!
I literally have 10 years worth of saved dashcam clips in Vancouver on my hard drive 😐
Light mode!!
Well.. . Upload
I'm so sick of everyone misusing the word "literally". The word you should use is "probably" or "might". 🤦🏼♂️
@@RavenMaven are you a tard? “Literally” is a colloquial first off, and when they say “literally”, it means they do have that thing. “Might” or “probably” indicates an uncertainty. I’m so sick of people expressing their woes over typing in unrelated video comment sections.

I lived in Vancouver for 2 years. These clips looked like normal everyday occurrences. When do we get to see the crazy ones?
I lived there for decades.....and you are correct...absolute madness......I am glad I left, the lower mainland (BC I general) is such a shithole.
@@remlatzargonix1329 BC is the best province in Canada
@@remlatzargonix1329 lol unpopular opinion. If you think of BC as a shithole, I'd hate to hear your opinion of an actual shithole. Don't you realize how good we got it here? It's all relative. Maybe you just hate the world lol.
Officially my new favourite UA-cam channel
Thanks!
Finally a great Vancouver UA-camr
I actually quite like your narrating, you aren't repeating yourself and you don't give us any crappy jokes. Just nice all the way through
I moved out here 4 years ago. Amazing place to live, but every day I consider moving back east, for one reason, and one reason only, and that is the roads. Everything about the roads, from the drivers, to the ICBC, to the roads themselves is just... the worst.
@Uta good god. That's unlivable. This province absolutely hates people who drive.
except in winter lol. Winter driving was an ordeal when I lived in Ontario. Fun though on quiet streets with your E-brake :p
Thanks for the videos much appreciated. Hopefully 2021 is better for all of us
Great video man, not many of these videos have a commentary and it's nice to get a bit of description or opinion. Keep it up
Some people love it and some people hate it....I'm just trying to do things different lol
The fence clip is hilarious !😂
Before even starting the video, I have to say I am glad to know that this channel exists!
You need to be the next director for “Tourism in BC”
8:13 That is not Chilliwack, That's Williams and Shell in Richmond!
Richmond... figures....
@@RavenMaven lmao
Another lovely thing about my city...
10:10 I have nearly teaboned cars trying to turn onto Oak from 57th about 4 times already this year. You have no idea how often that occurs.
I’m a learner driver something like that almost happen if I didn’t saw the cars beside me already stopped to let the guy go in the parking lot I would plow into him I’m just lucky that I remember to stop to see if anybody cominng through
The clip of the guy in the blue car having a bit of a hard time parking is at poirer rec centre in coquitlam
These videos are so good keep up the good work 😊
You know the great thing about most crash compilations is that they don't require explanation.
"Lit up like a Christmas tree on Halloween" lol
@8:17 That's Williams and Shell in Richmond, the homeowner has some other crazy footage on a facebook group of that intersection lol
3:49 common thing to happen, leaving parking brake on when its wet and it seizes stuck to the brake drum locking the wheels. This generally is fixed when its not slippery outside as the tire friction breaks it free, but I've had it happen multiple times where I had to get to somewhere with dry road to unstick the rear brake drums.
I was only in Vancouver for a week this year but in that time I almost got run down on my bike a half dozen times from Richmond to Surrey by people running red lights, not paying attention, and driving in bike lanes.
yeah, you should always be careful using bike lanes, in any city. Lots of drivers completely forget about them.
I sub to your channel, because im also from Vancouver, Canada and also like your videos.
Nice choice on the bike clip...the one and only I may add 😉👍
woohoo I made the best of 2020 :P 10:47
Well done 👏🏿
Similar shit happened to me
That DTES clip really is an every day occurrence. I’m down there almost everyday, and I get dizzy from having my head on such a swivel.
I drove through there once at 6am and this guy was butt naked chasing my car lol
@@vancouversworstdrivers Sorry! Thought it was my connect trying to blow me off.
Tbh I've been watching all the dash cam vids that are just quiet, but I really actually like that this has commentary haha
Makes me miss driving in Vancouver!
8:13 This clip is not Chilliwack. I thought I recognized the corner. It's in Richmond. Shell Rd and Williams facing Northbound.
After driving 10 years in Van. These are just daily routine. Why are we even surprised when the other party is at fault and they just start yelling and flipping you the finger first. 😂😂
Wicked bud loved it!
Interesting compilation bro
Hey 2 of my friends were on that bus in the first clip I remember them posting about it 😂
I Wish science would come up for a cure for stupidity. Driving in the lower Mainland is running the gauntlet every time.
No Wonder there's a show called "Canada's Worst drivers." lol.
That intersection outside Key West Ford has so many accidents it’s insane.
I've been driving here since the late 80s, and the amount of bad drivers on the road have gotten a lot worse.
Number of not amount unless you are referring to them when they are in grounded up mass. Can you count them? Then it's number of.
@@FirstLastOne huh?
That's because the amount of immigrants with N driver's licenses (a license to drive without proper testing) handed to them the moment they step off the plane to fuel the luxury car market
@@leibmoshe nailed it
That is the honest truth sadly. They should be turned around at the border
got any top picks pov for front and rear dashcams? budget but with fairly good average quality?
my clip made it! 12:32
Yes ! New vid
Hey a home base dash cam channel....subscribed!!
This is awesome, just subd.
Hey brother, 4:24 is at Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex in Coquitlam.
Great video, thanks for posting. Scary and hilarious. I am in Toronto, and of course we have the same kind of stupid.
So good.
Thanks for doing this channel. I hope with enough footage and subscribers, Vancouver local authorities can review its driver license program, having stricter rules and fines.
The Howells55 video looks like Williams and Shell Rd in Richmond. Near the Circle K store
@Rob Thomas macs stores across Canada have recently rebranded as circle K except for the ones in Quebec
Near the trail and nature park too
That's why I hate driving in Vancouver. I will stick to my Vancouver Island 😂
We are moving back to the Lower Mainland in 2 yrs when my husband retires. Maybe we should think twice!! haha crazy!!
Crazy drivers ... Gonna buy a dash cam now ty
Do it! Dashcams are a must
8:19 is Shell & Williams in Richmond. It’s a terrible intersection with a 2-way Stop when it actually deserves a light. Some people just plough right through not realizing Williams is a busy street
Lol I live in Nanaimo and I love seeing the news from Vancouver (Vancouver island)
good narratives.
omg the fence hahahha
Wholly collection!! No wonder our rates are so bad!!!
6:56 I see people in car shares (evo, modo, car2go, etc) doing this stuff all the time and a lot of them end up in accidents. I feel people who use car shares rarely get behind the wheel and therefore forget basic driving skills.
Those assclowns have anonymity because it isn’t their car and they feel they can’t be tracked down or traced.
@@leng3115 Yeah. But it's one thing to act like a jackass when driving vs not knowing how one-way streets work or causing accidents for being in the wrong turn lane, etc.
There is a lack of traffic enforcements. Vancouver needs a bunch of traffic cameras like in Europe.
So many people are against even red light cameras! I'm surprised
Such Vancouver Commentary
It’s no wonder our insurance rates are through the roof , thanks for sharing stay safe . Cheers
There just rewatching Petterson win the calder
What dash cam does everyone recommend? Seeing this video makes me want one now
Not Familiar with current models, but the fam suv has an aukey back and front, my commute beater has a $5 thrift store special. Because any cam is better than no cam.
4:09 legally your supposed to drive with the hood open (looking under the u shape of the hood) and only pull over when it’s safe to do so with enough space. A bridge wouldn’t qualify so that person was in the right there
Yep, Lower Mainland at it’s finest. Nothing like rush hour mornings headed east on the #1, stuck going up the hill towards 264 because dump trucks with trailers are taking all 3 lanes. And being squeezed into the HOV lane by another trucker.
8:18 was from Richmond
that insurance scam thing happened to my uncle, he is still fighting it in court :(
Sorry to hear that! That would make my blood boil
@@vancouversworstdrivers yeah he learned a valuable lesson as well, always have a dashcam to prove your innocence
8:14 shell road and Williams
Yep. Passed by it many times.
subscribed! will show my future kid
New drivers have said they have learned a lot of watching people in my videos haha thanks for watching
that one crash is right by my house XD
8:18 is at Shell and Williams rd in richmond
Your going to have a ton of clips come in after yesterdays first and probably only, 1 of 4 snowfalls of the year. The first is always extra special though because of the people in Vancouver still driving around on summer tires.
I present to y’all 2020 in 15 mins
Someone needs to make an Edmonton compilation
Remember seeing a driver in a small car driving east on E 1st dragging a Christmas tree underneath. Not shocking for a lifelong Vancouverite. Lol
It’s amazing how some people get license
You should do a Surrey/Langley dash cam video
Usually people don't tell me where exactly the videos are from but there are clips from all over the Lower Mainland
Thank you for the years videos it is fun to watch, when there are no serious injuries, the antics of Vancouver drivers
Hopefully you’re gonna make a lot of money with these videos
have driven in the lower mainland for the last decade and i will say while its been crazy, and got a bit crazier in the last 5 years, some of the 'almosts' i've witnessed during pandemic have been unreal. guessing a lot of people are driving less and losing a bit of muscle memory/attentiveness.
b safe out there folks.
5:21 that was definitely at Pinetree Way in Coquitlam.
Does anybody know of any good dash cam that has good quality footage?
Yup, another day in Vancouver
That old civic tho ❤️
T-bone (8:11) was in Richmond (not Chilliwack): Shell and Williams. More than 1 accident in this video was on Williams.
6:58 I get that. Same thing happened to me, there are no signs saying that some streets are one way (i even checked)
They are at all intersections below street signs and/on poles coming out of alleys
Vancouver needs more highways
@11:50 happens in mainland China all the time, especially when you drive a mercedes or sth
Best reasons why I don’t drive in Vancouver. My boyfriend has many video like that in his drive recorder lol
2:39 this was on my old schoolbus path-
There is 0 possibility 2021 could be worse than 2020, absolutely 0!
We could go into a world war. WW2 was many, many times worse than this COVID-19 thing.
The new trend for cars, fence on cars 😂😂😂
Oh yeah! Gotta have a speed fence on the whip.
@@mikemontgomery2654 😂😂😂😂😂
The clip where he said it apparently happened in chilliwack. It happened in Richmond. Kings wood area right by the circle K and The Shell Road Trail
@5:55 Did Dave from DDE drive through another fence?
What cam are you using?
Dr900s 2 channel! Although I heard the thinkware u1000 is better
lmao the parking clip submitted by kevinbeauchamp is at porier sports and leisure complex in coquitlam, lovely place
hahaha such a fail
Is that guy still there trying to park his car?
This video really doesn't need narration- most of the clips speak for themselves
Close to 10K subs!
Soon! Share the video so I can get more ;p
Try driving in Abbotsford. It’s ridiculous
2:39 I my dad’s employer was driving a flatbed through that light back in 2011-2013ish the flatbed flipped and caused multiple fractures and nerve damage, leading to him being permanently paralyzed, and lifted out by aircraft. The other driver suffer only a minor neck injury. This was one of the most devastating crashes.
There are lots of impatient, aggressive and unapologetic drivers in BC, especially in Richmond and Surrey.
