This is a quick look and comparison of the mighty G Series dirt pedals from Canadian company, REVV Amplification. They all have their charms, applications and are different enough to warrant this video, I believe. I'll shoot dedicated vids for each in the coming weeks as well. Rock on.

Great review. I got myself a G3 one, to use with my Fender Stratocaster Pro ii, and a Fender Blues Jr, to get distortion at low volumes (in an apartment).

The G3 is my favorite. The G4 is in that ultra-high gain, compressed territory that just doesn't work for me. The G3 is a happy medium.

Absolutely the G2 sounded upper-mid "tube screamer" sound , the G3 sounded like a big modern metal high gain sort of German sound, and the G4 sounded like a JCM 800 Marshall, so two into four would be like tube screamer into Marshall!
