Thank you. Amazing video. I have had both types of injections for knee pain and did not want to keep getting cortisone and did do PRP. It helped me to walk again and yes it took quite a few weeks to see the response.
Hello perfectly timed content. I am 60 yrs of age always been in good shape but had a right hip arthroscopy for a torn labrum about a year ago. I am currently experiencing burning discomfort after working out and sleeping on hip or after long walks which i do everyday. I am hoping that PRP will help as i do not like cortisone shots. Love your content.☘️🌻
Hello, I am 27 years old and have a tfcc wrist injury. I first treated it with cortisone injections and wrist immobility and it worked immediately (3 weeks). Then it started to hurt again after 5 months. Now I am trying with PRP three injections. After 4 weeks I am still in pain and see no improvement. Do you recommend that I use steroids again?
PRP you have to pay out of pocket and it is at least $900 plus, Cortisone, your medical insurance pays for, however it breaks down cartilage is used a lot
Yes PRP is usually an out of pocket expense. There is a time and place for cortisone, mainly if there is a lot of swelling or if someone has an inflammatory condition. However, in most cases I do prefer a PRP injection.
Glad to see you are back making content again! Looking forward to more videos

How long to you have to wait between Cortisone injection and PRP injection?
I recommend a minimum of 8 weeks to have the cortisone washed out from the area before doing PRP
