Really I’d recommend cutting out the frame and dropping the engine further down. My plan of keeping the engine mounted on the same surface as the old kholer was a lot of extra work

There is just spot welds that hold the cage on that pulley, just drill them out to remove it.

Nice. Looks well thought out, and I like the turnbuckle, too bad it's slightly off-set. Can you lock it so vibration doesn't loosen it?
I might just wire the turnbuckle to the alternator if it tries to loosen up. Hopefully it won’t be an issue tho
