looks like you now need a 13 tooth front sprocket and do not change the rear sprocket. The current sprocket setup is topping out 58 MPH with a 13 tooth front sprocket they might be able to reach 65 to 70 MPH depending on the weight of the rider and reduce the risk of popping wheelies as well.
Drag race series with 3 classes 212-275 then 420- 460 and unlimited this would be cheap way to get people into racing and I would help race development of these engines 😀love to see a road bike long trip where people could come along and join in (wonder how many would take part )
It wasn't something silly like the pushrod not sitting in it's hole on the Cam Follower? I know Assembly lube dries up and can spin a bearing after an engine is built and just sits for years before being rotated, so I don't discount your theory, but the 1/4 inch thing makes me think it was the Pushrod out of it's hole. Also, You May know that Shawn/Sean from Bikes and Beards is now Living in Tennessee... Let's see you two Collab and put a Built 670 in a Harley frame and see if it's faster than a Harley!!!
I have that same valve spring compressor I bought one from harbor freight that didn’t work on small engines but the one like yours was the best 15 bucks I ever spent I was tired of having sore thumbs and asking my wife to put in the keepers I’m sure I’m not the only one
The bolt you've put in where the oil sensor was looked like it was touching right at the bottom of the bolt as it looked worn. That would definitely make the noise we're all hearing. I've had ½ a dozen of those little engines & only 1 has sounded that tappie & that's where the bolt I put in to fill that oil sensor hole was 2 long . . .
I felt like I noticed the lash issue first watching through! You lashed and tightened down and when you put the cover on, the right rocker swung! Very nice build!
That is one crazy-loud valve train. I', at the 18:45 Mark and Lonnie coming up that ramp and in the air...the bike sounds like it's gonna throw a rod the tapping is so loud. It's an awesome set up but it sounds like it needs a bit more clearancing and/or valve adjusting or something.
This thing inspired me big time. I just got a 459 mini bike put together and it's rad. Only thing is the torque converter seems super lazy on takeoff. The bike will not do a wheelie no matter how hard you try. I have a 40 series and I'm wondering if you got any tips to make it hook up harder. Seems like belt slip almost but I'm not sure. You mentioned a few times in this vid that your TC was holding it back but yours still hooks up way better than mine. What can I do?
Hey Mr. red beard if you have the poly sticking out the right way,, you won’t have to worry about getting the spring, right I’m having problems taking off🏍️
I was just nonchalantly watchin your videos for my sons mini bike and see the primary school next to my mothers house i had no clue you were in that area i would love to have my sons bike worked on if your shop takes customers
I have a question my son has a Coleman rb100 mini mini bike. Is there a torque converter that will bolt up to it? Without modification. Any help will be greatly appreciated thanks!
hey Red could you do a build of a Subaru ex13? i have a hot one for my mini bike even though its a 5.0 and i wanna put a new bottom end and top in it for more comp with a metal plate welded across the top. I cant find parts though other than the carb...
I love what you do but I like things that are dependable when I go riding I go far into the woods I can’t afford a break down. All those mods never hold up you can only ride in a parking lot to be safe.
Red beard brother man I have 0 mechanical knowledge so my question to you is if I was to pay you for your time if I was to send you my rt200 mini and a brand new 420cc engine with a tvc would you be willing to put it all together for me and send it back because I can't find anyone locally who's willing and I'd much rather have you do my bike because of your years of experience with mini's brother so please please please lmk if that's not asking to much from one of your long time subscribers and HUGE HUGE FANS???? BUT EITHER WAY KEEP THE GREAT CONTENT COMING OUT AND I'LL FOR CERTAIN KEEP WATCHING EM!!!! ALSO MUCH MUCH LOVE FROM NEW HAMPSHIRE BROTHER!!!!! GOD BLESS!!!!
#brapp been a min but Dino still tuned in hanging in there y’all keep pushing @RBG y’all still my goats 🐐 I’ve learned so much from you simple!!! 💯🖤🦖🫡👀💨
Love the content! I was really hoping to go from learning about these engines, into learning about a manual 200-250cc range, and watch a complete rebuild. I’ve binged watched almost everything from every channel about the predator engines. Doubt I retained much, but nonetheless they get me amped up.. jk I’ve done some mods to my mini. But I couldn’t find many videos on a budget single cylinder, 4 stroke, manual engine. Looking for something that’s uniform like the predator and can easily get parts for because they make clones… It would be really cool if you did a series on that, and showed and gave the parts list on completely step by step rebuild (I want to build a minimalistic dual sport) but I want the engine to be dirt cheap… Please🙏🥹
Love watching people build minibikes professionally and go above and beyond on capability, so awesome 🔥💯
I do 55 with a tork kit on my 212 cc engine thinking bout putting a 450cc in a dirt bike 😅 real power 🎉

I have a coleman 200, bit looking to upgrade.

Thanks for clean language, I enjoyed watching the ride
Do you ride one of these brother?
I have that same valve spring compressor I bought one from harbor freight that didn’t work on small engines but the one like yours was the best 15 bucks I ever spent I was tired of having sore thumbs and asking my wife to put in the keepers I’m sure I’m not the only one
Who tooted at 08:28? LOL!! Great job on this one....makes me think about a 420 or 440 for my modified live axle lawn tractor!
I just noticed that also lmao 🤣
I suffer from mini bike envy, after watching this!

Y'all should totally put a peg design on the back that way it brings your center of balance forward on the bike to keep it from lifting up
That Rotating Stand Is A Must Have!!!
This is exactly the kind of build i want to do. Great video! Thank you!
Knock knock who's there

Throw a higher ramping variator and or lighter weights for it to ramp up a bit on rpm
Great video, would love to see a 5 or 4 gear transmission on that big block one day
I'd love to see another 301 build, they're almost half the price of a 420 and have a balance shaft.
ABSOLUTELY----> OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!. 🙂
Love your builds an an knowledge of how to do better custom repair an performance awesome job red beard keep up the great builds ....
Looks like a great setup.
😎👍👍
That's awesome man ! I'm putting a 420 on my manco big cat . Had one when I was a kid but this gonna have the pep n it's step 😁💪
Watching you build this bad boy is fun, that sucker is gonna thump!
Need to dyno test a 420 and 301. Be awesome to see what they can do

I enjoyed the video also love seeing the small diesel swaps.
Hey Mr. red beard if you have the poly sticking out the right way,, you won’t have to worry about getting the spring, right I’m having problems taking off🏍️
My 420 runs 80 just with a 308 and ported head🎉
I have the same bike but am going to squeeze all i can get out of the 196cc. And regearing for power not to much speed.
I was just nonchalantly watchin your videos for my sons mini bike and see the primary school next to my mothers house i had no clue you were in that area i would love to have my sons bike worked on if your shop takes customers
Needs an extended swing arm kit would be much better/safer to ride!!✌️💚✊️🔥
Oo scratch that comment 😅lolol
I have a question my son has a Coleman rb100 mini mini bike. Is there a torque converter that will bolt up to it? Without modification. Any help will be greatly appreciated thanks!
We need more ghost 212 content!
nice welds. seems to be less common on youtube these days
You guys should sell bolt on motor mount kits for this 👍
Is an 80 mph mini bike possible? How much horsepower would be required?
I felt like i was on speed through half that video. ill keep tweeking, you keep up the great videos!
Wow! That was awesome. Thanks for the word from the good book.
Next... Extend that back axel . Stretch the beast 💯💯💯
what is the gear ratio on this build?
might have missed it in the video but it seems like a 50 tooth with the torque it has
I believe it was a 50 on the tire and 10 on the jackshaft.
I wish these things were street legal in Massachusetts!
What happened there at 8:28? :) Awesome build. Love it.
I have an RT200, essentially the same frame… and I’m wondering if I can maybe copy this build. How do I do it step by step?
You can name it "Hardly", the "Trail Hoss"....Seems like the Clydesdale of mini bikes.
Wildcat 460cc next I hope!
yes sir. I will be getting one soon.
Garage legend🤙🏾
So which one do weget the 440 or 420 which one has more parts available
Please can you work on your buggies i would like to see it complete. Like the harley buggy
Next upgrade take the jackshaft off and install a baker 6 speed for a Harley. I think you can get a hundred mph out of her.👍😂👍
I have a 5 speed Harley trans setting on the shelf!
On vw's and mostly all race engines they run zero lash. That will quite the valves down id run .007 or .005 on both valves
Sick!
What state you in I use a minibike for work and my engine makes a lot of crazy noises and has decreased performance exponentially
This is a cool ass build
Awesome bike Greg👍
What break in oil is he using? Transmisson oil?
AMSOIL
I need that kind of exhaust
What’s the best torque converter for I’m building a same build with a 420cc but a rt200 frame
I need one as a trike!
hey Red could you do a build of a Subaru ex13? i have a hot one for my mini bike even though its a 5.0 and i wanna put a new bottom end and top in it for more comp with a metal plate welded across the top. I cant find parts though other than the carb...
great vid btw!
I would like to see the rear live suspension mod put on this frame.
That Donnie is a newbie isn’t he lol good to see him
Like to see a street legal trike build
My rb200 w 420 is governed still and does 58mph. Try a 30 series driven and a 5990 belt.. I remove my gov ill be doing 70
With the 40 series driver
isn't the exhaust too close from the rubber belt ?
Do you have a link for that rotating round table/base you have?
Yall sell these ready to ride ???
unfortunately we do not. Sometimes we sell projects when we are done.
AWESOME!! "Ghetto, Yes will it work?? Furr surrre" 😆✌️💚✊️🔥
I love what you do but I like things that are dependable when I go riding I go far into the woods I can’t afford a break down. All those mods never hold up you can only ride in a parking lot to be safe.
That's not true. Maybe your mods don't hold up!
I wish i knew ya im technically criple so i reverted to a grom glone scooter..it would love this engine 😢
What brand of assembly lube was used a year/year and a half ago?
Maxima
thanks for the reply@@RedBeardsGarage
How is it that you live in Tennessee and say,,OIL instead of OLL,,? 😂 love the video’s!
I got those speeds on a 212 built tilly. 😂
Hello i have a mb 200 i would like for you to build it up and let me know
Is it faster than the 224 gps bike yet?
I was thinking it was knocking on video
Awesome

Was this a 440 or 420cc?
does anyone know if they started making aftermarket parts for the 459 predator? Or does the 420 aftermarket fit it?
Great video.
I love the scriptures and witnessing you do in the name of Our Lord.
How much you want for it my friend
As long as you ride in your back yard mods make things weak
I’m not gone lie for 420cc it should be way faster I have a 224 cc predator goin 70+
As cool as it is, seems like it just isn't the bike for bulky 420.
A Hurricane on the other hand hint hint lol
Ya know EC makes a 460 lol.😅
🚒👍
Show muito interessante essa moto 🛵 estamos juntos
Dude I am so freaking far behind bc I have not seen your UA-cam channel in a bit bc I got a new phone so I lost all my channels
Be careful who you let ride that one!
420cc for win 🥇bro knows it great build boss it’s a hog 🐽💯🖤🦖💨🤘🏾
#brapp been a min but Dino still tuned in hanging in there y’all keep pushing @RBG y’all still my goats 🐐 I’ve learned so much from you simple!!! 💯🖤🦖🫡👀💨
i want one like that.

Definitely heard a fart in there😂😂😂
Great scripture!
Man i wish my scooter had that much blls
I'd love to make $170 a day for doing real fun stuff all day
I love the Bible verses!
no need for a big block in these...the way you can get power from a 212 or 224 it's just not worth the weight.
How much does it take to make similar power with a 224?
My 212 goes 62
God bless RBG
