First Impressions of the Agri-Fab 130 Pound Push Spreader

- It was time for me to upgrade my spreader; however, I didn't want to get too carried away in terms of how much money I spent for this upgrade. Here lands the Agri-Fab 130 pound walk behind spreader. It was on special recently for $160, which makes it a very good value when compared to its similarly sized commercial competitors. This video is my first impressions of the spreader. Let me know your questions below.

Hi Jason, thank you for the review. Have you used the Agri-Fab spreader to top dress and spread sand? If so, how does it perform throwing sand?
Sand has to be dry, but I've used it and it works.

Thanks for the video. Does this spreader throws product over shoes or only to front and sides. ?
It does really well of not throwing onto shoes, but still just a little. Much much less than my cheap Scott's, can say that.

I really like it. It's not quite lesco or equivalent quality, but it's relatively close for less than half the price. Happy with it so far a year and change into ownership.
Jason...do you think this spreader would spread top soil that is screened very fine ? I want to spread fine top soil over top of grass seed...
I think it would struggle unless it was also incredibly dry.. Was going to try it as a top dresser for my putting green with sand but never got to that.

What setting did you find works best for Milo?
That is a great question I do not remember the exact answer to. I think I was around 2.5-3 to be able to go over the area twice. But don't hold me to that. Smaller pril products I've typically started around 2.5 and larger around 3.5-4 and have adjusted from there.

You cannot burn with that so the spreader setting is NO RISK
I mean, yea, but I'd still rather put the right amount down and not run out before I've covered the whole area.
June 29, 2020 posting about family/party during pandemic. Okay. Got it!
The spreader also did well with the granular bleach application. Would still recommend.
