Thank god!!! you made this video. My husband and I could not have put the Agri-Fab spreader together otherwise. You took your time and were very thorough. Thanks again.
As a single female trying to figure out how to assemble the spreader your video was very helpful. I have I think so far have assembled the spreader. Keeping my fingers crossed that it works when i get seed in it to spread in my yard.
Yes it does look good 👍 Looking forward to seeing it in action. I have the Ballard super Jack and took the squishy tires off of it and put pneumatic tires on it. Glad to see this has pneumatic tires instead of plastic 👊🏼🧔🇺🇸
I'm 72 year old widow Still work my acre lot and purchased tow behind spreader. When I read the instructions I was lost. Your detailed video helped me assemble my Agri Fab 110# spreader. One issue is the wheels get stuck. Yikes, did I assemble something wrong?
Mengles, I am glad to hear you're doing so well at that young age. Does the wheel stick when it is loaded? From the back of the spreader, my wheel to the right is the drive wheel. Check to make sure it spins ok with the spreader empty.
Oops, I replied earlier today, but I don't see my reply. Not sure what I did. I have not loaded the spreader yet to see if the one wheel still sticks. I will load tomorrow. from back of spreader, the wheel to right is one that sticks and I cannot spin it. I can spin the left wheel and it spins smoothly. Do I have wheels backwards? If that's the case then it goes back to the install of bar that is backwards.
You should be able to spin that right wheel with your hand......I'm not sure what is sticking. If you give me an email address, I can send you a picture of mine. Not sure if that'll help or not.
OMG I just watched your assembly video on my computer instead of my phone and was able to zoom in on the axel/gear assy. I installed the axel/gear assembly opposite from yours. It looked OK by the pictures but I when I zoomed in on your video it is flipped. When facing front of spreader, The pole that stands up is on left and the round metal piece curves to right. yikes. should I start over or take to store for them to reassemble?
Night time cleaning which is better the carwash isn't packed. Oh man you pushed that with a 2 acre property. How long did that take? Oh my favorite color orange I figure I would throw that in Lol. Your like me I go by the directions to get it right. I'm glad you found that nut. Yes I always look at reviews before I buy. Well you put that spreader together really good. I guess I will have to wait till tomorrow to see how it works. Yes definitely a helpful video and yes I agree you should have a lot more subscribers you got a awesome channel. Great video buddy.
Does it still have that plastic gear stabilizer? If so, it'll break on the like the 1st-3rd use. Absolute junk. I have the same one and it worked great for the 1st run.
Man they changed these up. The drive wheel system is atteched with a carter pin as soon a i loaded my with fertilizer it broke the carter pin when trying to use it . Plus the spacer in the tub undet the hair pin didnt even come in package . Im gonna try and replace and adjust it and if i can get it fixed lowes will be getting it back !!
@@gratzbuck9882 you don't, you set it and ride...then get off and change it when needed. Your not going to use this for your regular average sized to smaller sizes yards, that's where a push spreader comes in
I drilled a hole in the end of a 1/2 piece of PVC about 6 foot long and zip tied it to the handle. It worked ok. When I make a more permanent extension bar, I'll do a video.
Until the shutoff of the fertilizer flow problem is solved it makes tow-behind spreaders very problematic to use. I have a 1/2 acre to weed-n-feed. About a 1/4 acre is fairly wide-open but the other 1/4 acre is where my house is making maneuverability difficult. Around my house I would need to constantly shutoff the fertilizer flow to reposition my riding lawn mower for effective coverage. The shutoff dilemma with tow-behind spreaders is their Achilles Heel.
I have the exact spreader, the only thing that I cannot figure out is where and how the v shaped spring attaches. Thanks to anyone who can help me with this.
The axel did not fit to the tire assembly. The spring on the lever came off first spread. The rotator clip in the bin came off and was lost. Classic other country junk.

Well women are usually better at instructions than guys, so you may have erred following my directions 😂. I hope it works well for you!
Got the same spreader and areator I love it!! 💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥
It worked well on the first trip out.
Thank you! Single lady was able to assemble with your help!
Awesome Veronica. Thanks!

Man I want one of those jacks where you just flip the mower up, but I'm being tight with the money 😂
Thanks buddy, big help. Bless you brother.
Glad it helped 👊
EXCELLENT!!!! Thank you for your instructions.
You're welcome Charles! Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

I say don't give up on this thing and let it win lol. I'm sure now that you know what is wrong you can probably fix it pretty easy.

That thing worked pretty good. Should have that video up tomorrow. As always, thanks for watching.
@@cleangreenlawnservicellc2630 Awesome can't wait for the video. Your very welcome buddy.
First of all thank you for your service 🇺🇸 great video on Assembly be easy on it with that X one Lol.😀👍
Thanks. Working that X-One like a borrowed mule 😂

😳 It does have some plastic in that area, but has been solid so far.......I have about 10 acres of work on it so far....... hopefully it holds up.
@@cleangreenlawnservicellc2630 Nice! I only have an acre and a half and it's mostly flat. Mine broke after only a couple of uses.

You're welcome!
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
I had goats growing up! Those things are never full! 🤣
Bottomless stomachs 😂
I actually love my pull behind spreader
A lot easier than pushing one for sure!
I'm interested in seeing how, you're going to operate the feed control lever from the seat of your zero-turn mower.
@@gratzbuck9882 I used a piece of PVC pipe. I have a more permanent or better idea in the works.

@@cleangreenlawnservicellc2630 I've seen videos where a guy installs a12-VDC linear actuator in the shoot linkage, control by a switch up front.
Is that an Agri-Fab 110 lb tow behind spreader?
Tom
I’d have to double check, I’m thinking it’s 80lb.
@@cleangreenlawnservicellc2630 If model 45-0527 it is the 110 lb spreader.
Tom you are correct and I just doubled checked and this is the 45-0527.
@@cleangreenlawnservicellc2630 Wife and I purchased one today from Mills Fleet Farm. Thank you for the video.
Yes sir, you're welcome!
I’d like to see a video of how you run your spreader behind a rider, and some ideas on an extension bar for shutting of the granules.

Teddy I use a 4 ft piece of PVC pipe connected to the handle to turn mine on and off. I haven't had an opportunity to do a video on it.
I have a tow-behind model. Does anyone have a hack to reach the on-off handle from the tow vehicle
I zip tie a 3 foot piece of pvc pipe to the handle and do it with that.
Bought this same one at Lowes tonight. $199!! Use a piece of pvc pipe instead of wood. Makes an easy handle…..
I ended up using a small piece of PVC too. Works good!

I'll have to check that. I don't even remember a spring 😂
Thank you

Oh wow, so far mine has done well. I have to use it in a couple of weeks (haven't used since last year), hopefully it doesn't come apart.
And the price at Lowe’s today may 2, 2023 was $200!
👌
BTW, I like your hammerrachet………
They makes some of the best hammers 🤣
I wasn’t able to put the two washers on the tire as if I did, the cotter pin hole was covered up.
Hmm, been a long time since I've messed with it. Not sure what could have happened.
I’m a veteran too, but I just paid 200 plus change for mine. Thanks Joe Biden😂
Yes..... inflation 🙄😂. Thanks for serving!
