I also have a big question I haven't been able to solve. Whenever I try to import GSG materials by locating the GSG asset folder, I get the error "No Greyscalegorilla materials found". Any hints on how to solve it? I do have the plugin activated, and I'm 100% sure is the correct folder. I have those assets under the plugin folder for C4D.

I’d say check out GSG step by step process here - support.greyscalegorilla.com/article/635-unreal

So I might have missed this, but you ask the right question, why not just use Megascans when it's free, but then I don't really see it being answered. You just say that it's a clean scan but Megascans are also clean and tiling scans. I just honestly want to see what's in it because I bought one month of sub but the only reason is that I really needed a specific material.

Thanks for the question, we like them as another library that has more resources not found in quixel library. Things like cloth, papers, terrazzo, perforated plastics, polystyrene, patterned plastics, recycled clothing/plastic/rubber, clay… and really the list goes on and on.

Thanks for the comment, the only other 3D DCC tool we are using is Cinema 4D and have dabbled a bit in Blender. But we’ll keep Houdini in mind, we know some folks and could collaborate.
