When you tap and hold the screen of your phone camera then move up or down. You are now locking your iphone exposure and you will be able to learn how to expose.
I ALWAYS forget to do this in my UE scenes and then wonder why it looks/acts like crap. EXCELLENT tip for users old and new! Thanks, Jags!
