Thanks, Kristan, for giving us an episode in the midst of Thanksgiving doing. I love your swatch for the pressed flowers cardigan. And your Alpenglow jumper is gorgeous. I'd love it if you could report on how the new mohair feels and whether you decide you can wear it, or not. So far, I've not been able to tolerate mohair for all the prickles and itching. Thank you 💜 I’m knitting the Totally Tessellated sock with the mohair now and I’m hopeful. I keep laying it next to my throat and no prickle. I plan to knit the Sophie scarf after the holidays and will definitely report back.
OK your Sunday sweater is so cute, I want to make one now! And YAS, isn't that green the perfect color for a hat?! For some reason it goes with everything 💚 So THE REPORT: I HAVE noticed an improvement in my ribbing with the short tips! I'm super surprised, but it's just comfier for me to hold and I feel like it's made a big difference (!!!). I even used short tips for the 1x1 body ribbing of my Louvre sweater and could even tell a huge difference there! You should give it a try and let me know what you think! P.S. KFO mohair is totally my favorite commercial mohair...it doesn't bother my skin at all, hope you have the same experience 😊
This is great news on the ribbing and *almost* tempts me to redo the yoke of the Sunday Sweater. I will be knitting my ribbing with short tips from here in out. && I think a Sunday sweater would fit perfectly into your collection of knits.
Using the KFO mohair in the Totally Tessellated socks now and keep stopping to admire and snuggle it to my face. Kind of shocked at the difference of other mohair’s I’ve felt. Grateful for that tip, as I would have never ordered it if you didn’t mention the softness compared to others you’ve used.
