Knitting:
In this one we start of chatting about my finished objects. The Lento sweater and the Sophie scarf. I explain why I’m frogging both my Stria Cardigan and Shifty Sweater.
New cast on/ current WIPs include the Sunday Sweater and a pair of Hermoine socks knit two at a time(TAAT).
Spinning:
We chat about my lack of excitement at the wheel since TdF and how sampling has brought back a bit of joy at the wheel. I talked through taking a giant stash of bits of dyed fiber and blending 50g batts.
I was gifted two alpaca fleece and I share how I’m sampling with it to create a yarn I love. We also chat about the MellyKnits merino sampler I received and basically just nerd out over sampling for a bit.
Future Plans:
Nothing huge on the horizon. I’d like to work through the sampling we discussed here. Joining the Purl Soho KAL for the Classic Ribbed Beanie. And casting on the Stripe Hype after my Sunday Sweater is finished.

Wonderful episode. How do you calculate your total yardage for your spinning? I am trying to learn how to do that when it comes to my own spinning,thanks 😊
I’m just seeing this comment. I have a yardage/meterage counter that the yarn threads through as I’m skeining.
