I tried this smoothie using my Nutribullet. I did not have almond milk so I used Fat Free milk and added about a 1/2 cup of almonds. OMG.... Soooo good. I put it in the refrigerator for tomorrow morning. Thank so much for this easy recipe.
if you use frozen fruit you won't need the ice cubes. :) a tip that i got from jamie oliver.
I still use ice cubes with frozen fruit sometimes but some just love fresh fruits with their smoothies :o)

I'm not one for healthy foods but I've been trying to take better care of myself and consume less harmful products. I tried it today! Love it!!! It's healthy and refreshing :) I used regular almond milk, no honey and it tasted just fine. It's really quick so there's no excuse to not eat breakfast! Thank you!

Great recipe!!!! Never thought about adding oats in a smoothie because I actually hate eating oatmeal..... But in a smoothie I can't even notice it. Great to drink after a workout too I feel so full lol

I would not put the honey in its difficult to clean out and the fruit contains natural sugars that will sweeten it :)
Drizzle it while blending. Wont be messy to clean up later. But i agree. The fruit especially banana is already a natural sweetener.

I have a question Di…I just recently made a decision to begin juicing after the holidays……I know there are 100 different blenders out there which makes me nuts…I know you do tons of cooking and was hoping you could recommend a juicer that does just that? They say certain ones leave your drink gritty… others leave the peel of the fruit which makes it hard to drink. I can't say I spend a lot of time in my kitchen cooking..I live alone and the bottom line is I need to focus on healthier eating habits Do you juice and if you do, what do you use? Thanks for any help you can give to me : ) By the way I am new to your channel and love it!!!

I usually do a smoothie with banana, blueberry and strawberries. I mix with just milk. The funny thing is that I'm actually drinking that now ;D

I add one cut up peach to mine and throw in a couple vitamins. Also add some probiotic blueberry acai drink into the mix.

This looks delicious. I'll have to try it. I don't usually use the almond milk, and use blueberry yogurt instead (and sometimes half a scoop of protein powder), but this one is a "must try". Thanks for sharing!!

Dishin With Di Yes, oats would be delicious in it, and a really good way to add some fiber to the diet. I usually use a mix of oats and oat bran because oat bran is good for controlling cholesterol. Have a great day!!
