The yogurt is extremely unhealthy though -_- Food scientist aint allowed to say because big corporate companies like money but here it is: Anything with milk or grains like bread is SUPER UNHEALTHY and you should not be eating any of that... unless your vegan in which your intake is diff and you probs need to protein and stuff. Fats are healthy!!! Salt is healthy!!! the corporations dont want you to know that they just want you to eat more junk and unhealthy stuff so they get more money they even changed the food triangle to make it so people buy their horrid vile products that are super unhealthy.

I have been drinking smoothie for breakfast for about 2 years now. They really give you energy that last throughout the day. Also, I do put my fruit in the freezer.
Mmmmmm, I love smoothies - I have one every morning! I started using cold tea in lieu of almond milk or coconut milk. You get nice flavour without the sugar. I brew up a batch of tea and keep it in the fridge and have been experimenting with all kinds of different flavour combinations (and I've been frequenting David's Tea a LOT more lately LOL). I tried the Tuesday smoothie once but used nectarines because its says on Google that there almost identical fruits, tasted good initially, but then a horrible aftertaste hit me, anyone else get this?
Only vegetables I can’t taste in a smoothie personally are gonna be spinach and surprisingly frozen zuchinni! The zuchinni changed me life I feel so much better in the mornings now lol

I favor the taste of vegetables because I was fed it when I was a child. Basically if you want your child to like vegetables then don't feed them fruit first, give them vegetables then fruit so they can like both.
I love watching this video! the way everything blends together gives me peace :) I love making smoothies on busy mornings mostly twice or thrice a week sometimes and I basically put every fruits or veggies in my refrigerator along with chia seeds, yoghurt, unsweetened almond milk and ground cinnamon or honey.

If you are trying to lose weight, be careful with some of these recipes -- there is a fair bit of sugar in the fruit and fruit juices. Instead of fruit juice, try coconut water, almond milk, soy milk etc. Adding rolled oats to a breakfast smoothie is a great technique!

Jennifer W My regular isn't really a "make-ahead", but it only takes 3-mins to make. 1 x large banana, 1 x tbsp LSA (Linseed, Sunflower, Almond), 1 x tbsp ground flaxseed, 4 x tbsp greek yoghurt, 1/2 cup soy milk, 1/4 cup traditional rolled oats, 5 ice cubes, (optional) 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, (optional) drop of honey, (optional) frozen mango. It's delicious and nutritious , but very thick! You might need to water it down slightly, but that smoothy keeps me filled until lunch.

Normally most people were fed fruit when they were babies, so most don't favor the taste and feel of vegetables.
I favor the taste of vegetables
because I was fed it when I was a child. Basically if you want your child to like vegetables then don't feed them fruit first, give them vegetables then fruit so they can like both.

I love watching this video! the way everything blends together gives me peace :) I love making smoothies on busy mornings mostly twice or thrice a week sometimes and I basically put every fruits or veggies in my refrigerator along with chia seeds, yoghurt, unsweetened almond milk and ground cinnamon or honey.

If you are trying to lose weight, be careful with some of these recipes -- there is a fair bit of sugar in the fruit and fruit juices. Instead of fruit juice, try coconut water, almond milk, soy milk etc. Adding rolled oats to a breakfast smoothie is a great technique!

Jennifer W My regular isn't really a "make-ahead", but it only takes 3-mins to make.
1 x large banana, 1 x tbsp LSA (Linseed, Sunflower, Almond), 1 x tbsp ground flaxseed, 4 x tbsp greek yoghurt, 1/2 cup soy milk, 1/4 cup traditional rolled oats, 5 ice cubes, (optional) 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, (optional) drop of honey, (optional) frozen mango.
It's delicious and nutritious , but very thick! You might need to water it down slightly, but that smoothy keeps me filled until lunch.

I was just thinking, in case you don't already do this, you could put the dry ingredients together in a closed jar the night before, put the banana next to it, and that might speed up your time by a tad. (Just trying to give back a little!)

I saw a pretty and healthy host in Health 2.0 -- a Taiwan Health programme, she will add in the 1/2 the nuts then at the last 5 seconds, she add in all the nuts so that she has something to chew and not swallow all in. Chewing is to stimulate the salivary and wake up our body to digest the food.
