*edit* Sorry guys I never learned to spell so let’s all pretend for a moment that it’s hanger and not hangar. 😂😭 Hope you guys are enjoying your week so far! This live show for Hangar 18 was phenomenal! Comment other great live shows we should check out! ✌🏻🔥🤟🏻
Guitar hero was my fav game on the Wii as it was harder to play than most of the games console at that time I was called Tainted Angel when I played online many years ago I was a good age then guys lol. Stay lucky stay safe Mike UK.
When I was a kid, I loved Metallica (still do!) but when I got older, I loved Megadeth...they're actually technically better than Metallica. Megadeth is next level metal!
Fog Hat was one of many mid 70's bands that represented the mainstream style of that period. Their hits like Slow Ride and Fool For The City were played repeatedly each day across the nation. I Just Want To Make Love To You was in the hearts of young Americans. 🥰
I have seen Megadeth live three times and they are always amazing. I have also met Dave Mustaine in person and he is the coolest! It is something I will never forget. You guys should check out anything off that album, or countdown to extinction or pretty much any Megadeth cd! lol. Dudes you rule!!
Megadeth had so many legends on the guitar. Dave who sings too, Marty who played lead in this song, Chris was also pretty good and their current guitarist Kiko is insane
Andy and Alex. Another band who is also amazing live is Iron Maiden. I recommend Rime of the Ancient Mariner or Powerslave. The best live version will be Live After Death. The best Iron Maiden tour of all time. By the way Iron Maiden up to the late s'80 their solos always sounded the same played live or studio by Adrian Smith and Dave Murray.
Another Megadeth song that I would like to suggest is one of my all time favorite - Sweating Bullets off of the album Count Down to Extinction. Awesome video as well.
Great song and live performance. More Megadeth, maybe In My Darkest Hour? Another suggestion would be KISS - Black Diamond 1975 promo. It is a live performance, I think you guys might appreciate it.
Damn! I forgot about all that hair! What I love about Megadeth are their transitions. Watching you two trying to keep up was awesome. With that said, this isn't my favorite track from them, but I can't fault the all-around skill it takes to perform it. I am a fan of Megadeth just not a fanatic. And I don't mind how often you say, dude. It's been a staple in my vocabulary since the early 80s. 😉
Yes, Foghat is a great band, very bluesy and rocking at the same time. You should also check out Thin Lizzy's Killer On The Loose, Nazareth's Hair Of The Dog and Black Sabbath's Neon Nights. If you want new metal check out Myrath. (highly recommended)
Dave is very stoic and focused onstage, but that's partially his personality (he's not known for playing nice with others), and partially the fact that he's on both vocals and lead guitar. If you want to see a metal frontman with the crowd in the palm of his hand, watch some live Iron Maiden. I highly recommend their performance of The Rime of the Ancient Mariner from the Flight 666 DVD, easily found on UA-cam. It's an epic example of musical storytelling and Bruce always goes all out on it. He's a legendary showman who can make even the people in the cheap seats feel like he's singing straight to them. I'm seeing them for the fourth time this September and can't wait.
100% agree. Been a fan of Maiden for over 30 years, but weirdly never saw them until last year. They did NOT disappoint. Epic show, tight, bloody amazing live. Very impressed.
Foghat is a great Blues/Rock band! Yes please get into the Foghat collection. I have seen them a few times live, they always put on a great show. Slow Ride, Fool For The City, I Just Want To Make Love To You, Drivin' Wheel, Stone Blue, Honey Hush, Home In My Hand...Etc, Etc, Etc. Very large volume of work to choose from.
You really need to watch the live version of Tornado of Souls. Best guitar solo in Thrash imo. Best version to watch is the 1992 Hammersmith Odeon one.
This is definitely the BEST incarnation of Megadeth. And Rust is definitely the BEST album of their's by far. Marty is a stud on lead & rythym & then of course Nick Menza (RIP) is a total beast behind the kit. The only drummer to mount his cymbals from swinging chains. Sadly he died on stage from a heart attack a few yrs back. Nice choice
Dude... that’s an insane performance!!! My daughter played guitar hero and I used to watch in awe of her hitting every note!! To do that for real in front of thousands of crazy metal fans is unbelievable!! Great video again. Hope you’re well lads... 🤟🏼🔥
Alex, I love your coffee mug!! lol! As always, I love both of your reactions. And, I know I’m showing my age here. But, this took me back to when MTV had the show “Headbanger’s Ball.” 🔥🤘🏼
Yes! I swear I found out some songs from guitar hero as well😂 and umm hahaha oops you probably know where I am right now🤦🏼♀️ and after an emotional and stressful week and a half, an amazing video to relax me☺️ you guys are so awesome!
The drummer actually passed while playing drums with his band a few years ago, I even met him once at party and went to leave with my friends and he was in the car
Dude lol, Nick menza was the drummer. He unfortunately passed away a few years ago. Bad ass drummer. You guys should check out Arch Enemy. Also, if you want great live shit from Megadeth, check out That one night in Argentina live. It's amazballz! The fans sing along with the guitar parts.
OMG, I have so much to say! I love the head banging because that is true rock n roll right there!!!! Love the fact that they all have long hair like the good old days. The drummer was amazing, (HE HAD TWO BASS DRUMS WTH?!?!?!). I really love those drummers that really get into what they're playing because it shows passion. The guitar, bass, and drums blended together sounded great and how they were able to make the different tempos work, UNBELIEVABLE!!! The instrumental was very catchy and I usually hate long instrumentals, but this worked for me because it had a good groove! Also, I don't know what those fast sixteenth notes, or whatever those notes were, but I LOVED IT!!!! A solid 10 for me on performance, not the greatest song for me, but great live performance. One more thing as a side note, I literally call EVERYONE dude, even my mom! Haha! Great video Andy and Alex! :)
Boston- Higher Power. There are two versions of this song, Higher Power (Kalodner Edit) is the best one. This is probably Bostons hardest driving song. There is also Boston's version of the Star Spangled Banner. It's a good powerful version.
These guys had a studio up in the Scottsdale airpark. There is a hangar 18 where all the bands jam at night, keeping the residents around the area up all night. Try also Surgical Steel those are also sum home town boys that rock hard. Bobby Milan is an exceptional drummer.
My sis used to work for Coca Cola in the Dallas marketing group back in the 90s. They had 4 stage center tickets to every concert at Coca Cola Starplex. Free tickets trickled to me for artists they didn't know or like. Yep, I got the Megadeth tix. Monster Magnet opened and the were so fried. LOL Great seats. Great show. I think Mustaine was clean at that time and he was on point. The Coca Cola folks evidently didn't like Boston either. I got those, too.
Check out Foghat - Fool for the city, I just wanna make love, Stone Blue, Driving Wheel ... the original band was a force during the 70s and 80s. They were a major headliner at concerts.
I always thought Marty Friedman swept until I saw them live. Once I saw him play I was even more confused by his pick hand motion. He does linear arpeggios and crushes it.
You me mentioned the drummer. It's the late Nick Menza (RIP). Like you noticed, a truly great one who is no longer with us. He actually wrote a good part of this particular song.
Damn that was good! I remember in the early 90s I had Rust in Peace on cassette. I’d listen to it on my Walkman whilst doing my paper round. Spent most of my time rewinding Hanger 18, just to listen to it again and again..
Hey guys! I’m brand new to your channel and I have to say, you guys are a breath of fresh air when it comes to reactions! You two are so genuine when it comes to feeling the music, you just get lost in the songs, and you can see it! It’s awesome guys 👍. Especially the reaction the Echoes from Pink Floyd! 😃 In the vein of Pink Floyd, I highly recommend a band called Porcupine Tree! The lead singer Steven Wilson is greatly influenced by them. Some people called this band the modern day Floyd! Start with a song called Anestatize, Arriving Somewhere but Not Here or Fear of a Blank Planet! Also if I may suggest...Have you ever hear of Devin Townsend!? Check out a song called Stormbending or Deadhead! You will not be disappointed! Stay true guys! 🙂✌️
Yeah from a technical pov there was some cool things going on in the song mostly from the guitar, however from a song composition pov, there wan't much there I could hand on to. Technically 8.0, for the song a 5.0. Overall a 6.5. I mentioned this before, I'd love if you boys will look at Gary Moore, one of my favorite guitar players. Please do a reaction to "The messiah will come".
You should check out some Cacophony. It is the band Marty Friedman and Jason Becker were in before Marty joined Megadeth. Just so you know Dave Mustaine was the original lead guitarist for Metallica.
If you want to hear Marty Friedman at his best listen to the riff he plays to bridge into the main riff after the intro in Take No Prisoners from the album Rust In Peace. It's a wtf riff.😉
Kiko, Poland, Broderick, Friedman,Drover In no order, round out my favorites....Dave doesn't work with slouch musicians. Megadeth Is on another level of talented...Even Dave's rhythm parts are intricate.
You two had the stupidest looks on your faces while you were marveling at the guitar work of Mustaine and Friedman. I mean it in a good way though. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate what you two are doing by getting yourselves enamored in the Metal scene. It’s a whole new world out there. Foghat: Slow Ride. That is your song. They have other good songs but you have to go with Slow Ride. ✌️ out!!
1) 1 billion likes from me if it was even possible! Keep up the great videos & PLEASE return to Megadeth again. 2) Say Dude all you like. 3) The easy answer to who is better is Mustaine is the king of all.

Guitar hero was my fav game on the Wii as it was harder to play than most of the games console at that time I was called Tainted Angel when I played online many years ago I was a good age then guys lol.
Stay lucky stay safe Mike UK.
I loved this on Guitar Hero I was called Tainted Angel when I played online many years ago lol.
Hi dudes lol.
Stay lucky stay safe Mike UK.
"Hangar" is correct. As in an aircraft hangar.
Tornado of souls by Megadeth, if you haven't heard it yet. Killer song.
Or good mourning black friday and you are like 😲

The whole album "Rust In Peace" is phenomenal. Wow, amazing live performance of H18!!

Foghat... Fool For The City... I Just Wanna... live album or live MTV concert.
"When I was a child in Guitar Hero 2." Oh my god I'm so old.
@revelwoodie
Haha, guitar hero was how I got exposed to most if not any rock tracks I heard, parents weren’t too into it. And noooo not old😁
They say Dave Mustaine's hair does most of his singing :D
I've been overusing the word 'Dude' for forty years now... Some words never wear out.
Same here, dude.
Never heard this version. Thx for bringing it up.
This song is a big throwback for me, thanks for reacting to this guys
Megadeth had so many legends on the guitar. Dave who sings too, Marty who played lead in this song, Chris was also pretty good and their current guitarist Kiko is insane
The guitars harmonizing is amazing
Andy and Alex. Another band who is also amazing live is Iron Maiden. I recommend Rime of the Ancient Mariner or Powerslave. The best live version will be Live After Death. The best Iron Maiden tour of all time.
By the way Iron Maiden up to the late s'80 their solos always sounded the same played live or studio by Adrian Smith and Dave Murray.
I love this track it's become a massive classic this is great to hear the live version I've only heard the studio one.

Ne Obliviscaris - And Plague Flowers The Kaleidoscope!!! It will blow your mind live. No joke!!
Loved the big hair and spiky guitars! Great performance. I don't say 'dude' much, but don't mind it at all!
It was never about the look.
If u like this genre, check out electric eye by Judas Priest, sanitation by Metallica
