Agreed... This album should be a national treasure. There are many who put Rust in Peace as the greatest Thrash Metal album of all time. However, there are those who will claim Rust in Peace as the Holy Grail of metal albums!
This is the most intelligent, ironic comment I have ever come across in my UA-cam life. "Dave Mustaine is the best thing Metallica ever released" Dude ..if you make a shirt with that ..I'll buy it! Make sure you register this phrase before someone takes it away from you geniuses! This is great! Honestly!
Marty Friedman is a beast on this album. The album art for Rust in Peace, was created by artist Ed Repka, who also did the cover for their previous album Peace Sells… but Who’s Buying? The artwork references the song “Hangar 18”, which is about a secret military facility that allegedly houses alien bodies and technology. The cover depicts the band’s mascot Vic Rattlehead, wearing a suit and holding a glowing green object, possibly an alien artifact, in front of a glass chamber containing an alien corpse ..Surrounding him are several world leaders of the time, such as George H. W. Bush, Mikhail Gorbachev, Richard von Weizsäcker, and Toshiki Kaifu, who appear to be observing the scene.
This song is a great example of just how good Marty Friedman is, he and Dave meshed so well together, Marty really challenged Dave since he's clearly the same caliber of player, he never sounded like just a hired gun, their guitar dueling on this is epic.
Loving your honesty, facial expressions and your journey. This music is such an art form, hard to grasp for some, impossible for others, yet it rewards patience and attention. You are on a wonderful journey with a great bunch of friends guiding you. We are all with you, as you remind us of how we felt discovering these gems many years ago. Megadeth's brilliance in this era is unquestionable. They were technically the best and wrote amazing songs by the bucketload. Try to watch a good live version of Hangar 18 as you'll grasp the technicality far better. Just a shame you didn't go straight into Take No Prisoners - the album is exhaustive to listen to in its entirety, it really is that good. Have a great day 🙌
When you reacted to The Four Horseman, and you said "I don't think I've ever heard a song with two guitar solos" I said immediately "Just wait until you hear Hangar 18"

I’ve always told people who are new to Dave that his vocals were so different and great because he sounds robotic and auto tuned but it’s his natural voice. When I first started listening to them, back when Peace Sells came out, I loved his voice. It just “fits” the music and subject matter so well!
I have to be honest, I've never warmed his voice. It's often pushed me out of the music. Just too much of a nasal sneer. But that's personal taste. Objectively, Megadeth are a phenomenal band and the landscape wouldn't be the same without them.
I always felt straight up attitude in his voice and I liked it because I felt that way but would have gotten knocked the fug out if I’d expressed it, lol.
Pure controlled chaos, probably the best description of Hanger 18 solos 😁 Been lucky to see this like 3 times live with 3 different lead guitarists 😁 Poor guys when they had to learn all the solos.
Yessss!!! A pure Masterpiece of guitar shredding!!! Marty Friedman plays the first few solos though the verses and that first change up, then when that last change up comes, Dave kicks off the solos, and they trade off for the rest of the song!! Loving this Metal journey bro!! I think you're ready for Ashes In Your Mouth, from their Countdown to Extinction album next!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
The 2nd half of this song is as good as it gets if you love shredding electric guitars! The composition and arrangement is as impressive and complicated as a lot of classical music. Along with Master of Puppets, this album is widely considered to be a masterpiece!

I grew up listening to Megadeth , they were the first metal band I discovered when I was a kid (I was 8) back in 2006. I was blown away by the solos in this song, and that's how all my metal music journey started .
Some of the best stuff ever. Dave and Marty had some magic here. This is why most who are musically influenced preferred them after the other went on for commercial success. Not as many fans but true fans. Tell a “Stones” fan that their songs sucked and you’ll get your but kicked by a group of ol’ dudes. Same as Megadeth fans. True to the music and fan base. Do what you do and stand by it. Love the reactions and the channel. Keep it rolling.
Full album review ??? Masterpiece of metal. This whole album flows together really well. The track after this starts on the same chord and kicks ass from start to finish. Take No Prisoners....
Great Megadeth reaction. Full album reactions are definitely needed for the Peace Sells album and the Rust in Peace album. After hearing this song you know you have too.🤘🏻👍🏻

This album came out when I was in high school, and I still have a cassette liner signed by the whole band. They were at a local music store before playing an arena show that we went to that night. My all-time fave Megadeth record. Cool thing about the intro chord progression of "Hangar 18" is it is exactly the same as Metallica's "Call of Ktulu" which Dave had a hand in writing.
The song that turned me on to Megadeth 17 years ago. Been my favourite band ever since. Never heard anything more intense, chaotic, well written, or amazing than this
Megadeth was my favorite band for 30ish years and still love them but The Warning have top spot. I highly recommend checking out Dust To Dust or Queen Of The Murder Scene live from there 2022 Teatro CDMX show. Three sisters from Mexico are the future of hard rock.
This album is a thrash metal masterpiece from beginning to end! There has been a lot of talent in the various line-ups pf this band but for me there is not a greater version of Megadeth than Dave, Marty, David, and NIck. I was fortunate enough to see those four together in concert about six times.
Can never go wrong with Megadeth! There is no way I could choose what is my favorite 1 song from them. Here is one, technically two, that is one of my favorite Megadeth - Into The Lungs Of Hell / Set The World Afire . This the opening tracks for their So Far, So Good So What Album
I highly highly recommend the title track Dystopia off of one of Megadeth's "newer" albums, Dystopia. Absolute banger of a song that shows how much power they still have.

OK it's time you experienced one of the most amazing vocalists in metal, but be prepared/open mind... JINJER is the band, PISCES (LIVE SESSION) is the song. Make sure you watch the official video that has about 82 million views... Jinjer is a popular band with reactions channels.
Great song & reaction. Some advice for you. I don't know what camera you're using, but it's set to "auto focus" which means it's going to center focus closest to the camera lens, so every time you lean too far forward or back or turn your head the camera is going to try to automatically adjust and that's why you're losing focus. If you have a "manual" option, put a placeholder where you normally would be sitting and at what height (another person, a stack of books, whatever). Manually focus on that, then you should be in focus all the time with all your subtle movements because you set the focus to where you'll be. If you move a foot or two away, the camera will remain focused on the point where you set it, it won't change, so if you stand up, you'll be out of focus until you return to position 1 (your natural position) then you'll be in focus again. 👍 If you want to broaden your musical horizons and at the same time do something very few music reaction channels do, check out the band Therion. I've been a fan since the late 90's ('97 i think_). No one covers them and they have a million songs! People will tell you to listen to Nighwish (and you absolutely should, but that's what every other reaction channel does). It's worth it, but also dare to be different!) Everyone will request Nightwish, but give Therion a chance, not only will you be hearing it for the first time, so will many of your listeners and that's pretty cool). They deserve the viewership. I'll give you a couple songs to start your journey. These two songs are both great live, so I'll share some well produced concert footage. Therion - To Mega Therion live at wacken 2001. This was the first song I heard from them and I was literally hooked by the very 1st note! From the same show - "In the Desert of Set". Therion is as epic as it gets. If you're not convinced after hearing these, then at least I tried.
Your enthusiasm for old school Thrash makes us old Headbangers proud 👏 That being said, I think you're ready for some EXODUS!!! I suggest the songs, Within The Walls Of Chaos. Feeding Time At The Zoo. The Toxic Waltz
I think you will dig Faith No More- the Real thing (zombie eaters/ the real thing- Surpise ur dead) Angeldust- (mid life crisis- caffeine- crack hitler- juzzlobber) can’t go wrong with songs from both these albums though. King for a Day as well Mr Bungle is another gem band from the 90’s
I saw this live at the Columbus Ohio convention center attached to the Hyatt on high. Testament opened for Megadeth who opened for the metal gods themselves Judas Priest painkiller. That's a must react. Rock on bro. 🤟
At that time, second Megadeth guitarist was Marty Friedman. He was well known before, because his musical skills. Lot of fans are saying, that this line up was the best in Megadeth history.
Likely not enough love relative to others to generate a reaction, but for your own self, check out the 5th band of the Big Four, Testament. The New Order was the "put them on the map" album, and Trial By Fire was the classic MTV Headbanger's Ball song/video that introduced them and hooked so many of us. You'll love it. Guaranteed.
Hi molly boy. Really enjoying your channel. Megadeth are my fave band. You should listen to their latest album...The sick...the dying and the dead . Especially 'we'll be back'.
You’re not an asshole and don’t let anyone tell you that bs. What I see (metalhead for 35 years) is a curious young man discovering something amazing and being blown away. My dude, that is what metal is all about! Welcome aboard and YES you can listen to both bands. Rock on kid!
I've always told anyone who's new to Megadeth that Dave's vocals are an acquired taste. You may not like it at first. But give it time Love your metal reactions btw. Very genuine and it's obvious that it's in your blood 🤘🤘🤘
Pantera - Heresy Sepultura - Dead Embryonic Cells Testament - Practice What You Preach Prong - Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck Power Trip - Hornets Nest Overkill - Coma
I was lucky enough to catch them at the Long Beach Arena on New Year's Eve 1992 ('Countdown To Extinction' tour), and when they did this song they stretched out the end section with the trading solos for about another 8 solos each - Friedman up front of the stage one side and Mustaine the other. The mix was excellent for such a big venue, you could hear each solo clearly but still have the rhythm guitar clear and present as well; it was amazing, and the real killer was when the big arena clock on the wall (I guess for sports games?) hit midnight, they instantly went into a speed metal version of 'Auld Lang Syne'...it was fucking hilarious :D
This whole album is a masterclass not only in thrash, but in metal in general, pure musical genius.

🤘🏼🤘🏼 very cool, young brother from another mother, lol I’m gonna check out your reaction history been watching you steadily for about almost 6 weeks now. Love your content keep it up.🤘🏼🤘🏼
Awesome thank you!
"Pure controlled chaos" - hit the nail on the head! Respect!
OK it's time you experienced one of the most amazing vocalists in metal, but be prepared/open mind... JINJER is the band, PISCES (LIVE SESSION) is the song. Make sure you watch the official video that has about 82 million views... Jinjer is a popular band with reactions channels.
YES, this one! You will never be the same.
Sweating bullets is a freak show. Video
Symphony of Destruction live in Argentina.
Best crowd ever
If you want to broaden your musical horizons and at the same time do something very few music reaction channels do, check out the band Therion.
Ive been waiting for this
Your enthusiasm for old school Thrash makes us old Headbangers proud 👏
That being said, I think you're ready for some EXODUS!!!
I suggest the songs,
Within The Walls Of Chaos.
Feeding Time At The Zoo.
The Toxic Waltz
Musicianship at it's very best. Pure genius. Behold.
I think you will dig Faith No More- the Real thing (zombie eaters/ the real thing- Surpise ur dead) Angeldust- (mid life crisis- caffeine- crack hitler- juzzlobber) can’t go wrong with songs from both these albums though. King for a Day as well
Mr Bungle is another gem band from the 90’s
I saw this live at the Columbus Ohio convention center attached to the Hyatt on high. Testament opened for Megadeth who opened for the metal gods themselves Judas Priest painkiller. That's a must react. Rock on bro. 🤟
At that time, second Megadeth guitarist was Marty Friedman. He was well known before, because his musical skills. Lot of fans are saying, that this line up was the best in Megadeth history.
Oh those golden days of metal. Rise of the big four!!!!
This album is one guitar masterclass. Dave Mustain and Marty Friedmann just shred the shit out of their guitars. AND the songs are great, too.
Marty Friedman with Jason Becker (cacophony) is awesome as well.
Guaranteed.
Dream Theater - Pull Me Under
Parkway Drive - Wishing Wells
Testament - Practice what you preach
Hi molly boy. Really enjoying your channel. Megadeth are my fave band. You should listen to their latest album...The sick...the dying and the dead . Especially 'we'll be back'.
You’re not an asshole and don’t let anyone tell you that bs. What I see (metalhead for 35 years) is a curious young man discovering something amazing and being blown away. My dude, that is what metal is all about! Welcome aboard and YES you can listen to both bands. Rock on kid!
Pure controlled chaos- excellent way to describe the outro!!
I've always told anyone who's new to Megadeth that Dave's vocals are an acquired taste. You may not like it at first. But give it time Love your metal reactions btw. Very genuine and it's obvious that it's in your blood 🤘🤘🤘
Pantera - Heresy
Sepultura - Dead Embryonic Cells
Testament - Practice What You Preach
Prong - Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck
Power Trip - Hornets Nest
Overkill - Coma
This is my favourite Megadeth song. By the way; I loved you in “Extras”
Marty Friedman kills this album! Amazing solo albums were released by him with a lot of guitar wizzardry🙏🏻
Gotta do blackmail the universe. Strait bangger! One of their heavier songs in my opinion
