It's the greatest metal instrumental, hands down. Takes you on a ride.
Next to Master of Puppets, lol. I mean. This is a great album, but it's held up by 4 awesome songs, and then....eh. MOP holds throughout. Their weakest track, the thing that should not be, is actually incredible live (back in the day when James still had his voice).

I remember learning to play this from some tabs in a guitar mag. The sections at the end were labeled as "reggae feel" which I didnt realize was going on until then. But I could totally appreciate the influences that got them to one of their best songs.
Marty Friedman’s musical acumen and masterful solo work transformed Megadeth on this album! He pushed boundaries with intricate melodies and Gypsy scales. Thank You, Marty! You gave us all your PhD in Thrash!

You gotta reach to Megadeth’s Tornado of souls, possibly the greatest solo in metal.
The song that got me into Megadeth. This whole album is a masterpiece, and constantly tops best Metal/Thrash album rankings across the internet.
You should check out either the 'Sweating Bullets' official video or 'Peace Sells' live from Hammersmith 1992 next. I'm sure Lex would set sail for Pluto at that point.
Found your channel today and Ive watched about 6 of your Megadeth reactions. I could watch you guys all day. Lex's smile is infectious. SO much fun watching people getting into the music Ive loved since I was a teenager in the 80s.....
Lol @ 5:22. I can’t stop laughing.
This entire album is a masterpiece from start to finish.
As a hardcore thrash metal fan and musician, its so refreshing to witness Lee's enthusiasm, and too see her feel the power this genre can have over ones senses, so cute!!!
Holy Wars is a must!! Great reaction.
They already listened to it
This is one of my favorite Megadeath songs, it's cool watching Mega-Lex experiencing a new metal song keep the bangers coming.
Your next step in Megadeth reactions should probably be Tornado of souls or Lucretia. Though any song from this album is close to the masterpiece.
A damn classic, this song and this album are top shelf, almost without peer in the metal world. Congrats, you just leveled up!
Hanger 18 is the "mythical" place the government holds found/recovered aliens...
...and Glenn Miller
It exists. Not mythical. The myths are simply about what might be inside of it.
Military experiments, not alliens.
Alliens is a CIA agenda to fool people
@@mickaelmatias6891 Unicorns, not military experiments.
Military experiments are just an NSA agenda to fool people.
I've heard this song so many times that I can actually play this on the guitar and yet watching Lex reacting to it makes me feel like I did the first time I heard the song. Makes me feel like I'm 10 years old again discovering metal music myself. I love it!!!
i love how happy she gets! let the energy flow!!
HOLY SHIT !!!!!! Best fun i had watching reaction video ever!!!! Lex.... U went all in that song and are a star in my mind now😆... im born 78 and this record was a part of my fathers 1000 all rock and roll record collection when i was young and u made my day... i felt like u showed the first time i heard this killer guitar symphony😃... if u liked your first 2 Megadeath songs then you are in for a treat😊 have fun....
My favorite their song is "A Tout Le Monde"
Well said brother... mine as well
You two are a great combination. So different and so complimentary and honest. Love it
Side note:
Marty Freedmen (second guitarist on the album) put out a solo album of classical music👍
That look of absolute joy in Lex's face is what makes metal so good.
LEX - "Man, you gotta let the energy flow"
BRAD - "I'm not trying to stop it!"
😂 Ya'll are just awesome!
One of my favorite bands of all time!
Brad seem to be trying to feel the rhythm and Lex was all over the rhythm. To Brads defense this is a hard one to follow!!
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤟🏻
love to see someone discovering their love for metal. The smile that beams from Lex when she hears that guitar. Priceless, great stuff guys..
Definitely a polarizing song! Lex, glad you liked it! Brad, glad you held it together without freaking out! XD
Is it though?
I'm not a metalhead, I mostly enjoy the monsters of rock metal bands but I find it super accessible because it's so damn good.
Strong album by any measure.
This is what they played on the Arsenio Hall Show. It was great. w original members who played on the record. The lead guitarist now lives in Japan amongst his own fame there.
She Wolf, Lucretia, and Tornado Of Souls are all great Megadeth songs
She Wolf live from Rude Awakening would melt Lex's face. ua-cam.com/video/IQfFv9VMpNk/v-deo.html
Absolutely awesome reaction Lex, I was having a crappy morning until I had seen this. Brad my friend metal isn't for everyone, I really appreciate that your into the lyrical content most reactors focus on the vocalist, guitarists etc. The both of you are great looking forward to your next choice.
This music is incredibly technical. It's really good and a legendary album.
I love your reactions. It's great to see skeptical Brad, and Metal Lex. It's great when you are willing to be honest and not cater to the audience. When you do like a song, then we know you're being honest. I suggest Tornado of Souls from this album, which is another awesome song from RIP, and Orion from Master of Puppets. It's the greatest metal instrumental, hands down. Takes you on a ride.
Clicked fast on this one. Arguably the best thraeh metal album ever made.
Next to Master of Puppets, lol. I mean. This is a great album, but it's held up by 4 awesome songs, and then....eh. MOP holds throughout. Their weakest track, the thing that should not be, is actually incredible live (back in the day when James still had his voice).
@@ktgo4424 I wouldn't have been able to pick a favorite back in the day. I'd add Ride the Lightning and So Far So Good So What into contention as well. Personally I prefer Ride the Lightning over Puppets.
@@suicyconaut I understand the thought. At one point, I was undecided. I just came to realize, that as great as the first 4 of Lightning are, probably as a whole better than the first 4 of Puppets, the back 4 of Puppets are just epic, IMO. I love Disposable, Leper Messiah, Orion and Damage. To me, it's what separates MOP. Most albums hit you right off the bat with their best, and then fill in with mediocre songs or worse.
I love Lex reactions to these songs, I did the same thing, just bob around around and loove the groove
I keep imaging what she would be like at a real metal show! (It would be awesome).
Set the World Afire is another underrated Megadeth song with a bunch of awesome riffs and solos
I only recommend the live version of the song since the original and remastered both sound very muddy and rough
That whole album is underrated
Ok, so over my browsing I found that Lex loves guitar solos. I saw Hangar 18 on my front page today and thought OMG Lex is gonna LOVE this. This is a Heavy Metal masterpiece. That entire album is arguably, and certainly one of, the greatest metal albums of all time.
Megadeth has a million great songs, try Darkest Hour, Liar, and Peace Sells.
No
@@conooor yes
I have watched a couple of your videos now, and lex' adorable smile and energy has earned you a new sub.
Brad, you headbang to the beat of the song and go from there. Let the music and the beat take you where it wants to go. Some people feel it instantly, some don't and that's ok. Metal is about freedom of expression and all that. Take your time. It will come.
This reaction was hilarious, one of the best metal songs ever.
This album is one of the greatest masterpieces of our time. If you read the lyrics youll see just how deep it is. From aliens to holy wars and government corruption. One of the best works of art ever created
We need to get Brad some headgear once metal Lex comes out he's in a moshpit without a choice.
I've heard this f-ing album 20,000 times in my life and IT NEVER FAILS, those Marty Friendman solos just blow my mind. As a guitarist of over 30 years, I still can't understand how a 27 year old kid could be so musical and technical. Truly mind blowing.
"In my hour of need, hah no you were not there.
Though i reach out for you, wouldnt lend a hand." Check out Megadeth In My Darkest Hour!
Her reaction was amazing! Glad you liked it!! One of the best thrash metal songs ever produced.
Try Symphony of destruction, Tornado of souls, and sweating bullets. Honorable mention: Trust.
Lex has that musician/dancer energy! You got a good sense of rhythm and melody! I like how you say “there’s so much complexity in it” cause that’s exactly what’s happening lol I wouldn’t be surprised if you picked up an instrument and just absolutely get drawn into it and love it!
Enquanto Lex pirou de alegria, Brad levantou a bandeira de trégua. Ótimo vídeo! Syd Foz 🤜🤛🇺🇸🇧🇷
I remember learning to play this from some tabs in a guitar mag. The sections at the end were labeled as "reggae feel" which I didnt realize was going on until then. But I could totally appreciate the influences that got them to one of their best songs.
Haven’t even watched the video yet and I just know Lex flipped out on this song 🤣
Marty Friedman’s musical acumen and masterful solo work transformed Megadeth on this album! He pushed boundaries with intricate melodies and Gypsy scales. Thank You, Marty! You gave us all your PhD in Thrash!
You should react to Trust or Sweating Bullets from Megadeath.
Ahahaha you guys are cool... Lex is the cutest when she's getting her groove on ❤ great reaction vid guys.
It's nice to see a couple with such a different perspective on certain things accepting and appreciating that in each other.
Thanks for the video.
Megadeth are my favourite 😍
Cheers from Down Under, Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 🤘😈
Megadeth - Tornado of Souls next please!
Lex gonna send her headphones across the room.
Dude, Lex is such a metal head, I love it!!
This is one of my favourite Megadeth tracks, it ticks all the boxes.
Hey Brad and Lex Love the reactions Seemed that Lex really liked this one. Please try some Dream Theater. The songs Glass Prison or This Dying Soul I think Lex would Really get into them. They are a Progressive Metal band and have many long compositions if youre into that. But these two songs are pretty heavy and hopefully elicit the same response as this song did. Keep it up
Also Ashes in Your Mouth and My Last Words have killer solos!!
Original version only
You should do Megadeth "A Tout Le Monde: I think you both will love it.
Yes. I suggested this one sometime ago. It is amazing.
Lex can't contain her smile when she hears a metal riff! I love it!
