- MotoVagabondNate shows you HOW TO -perform an Oil & Screen Service on a Benelli K-Light Keeway 125. I purchased this motorcycle with 3,200 kilometers on it in Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. It has never been serviced so before we go exploring the island and other islands, we have to make sure it’s as tip top as we can make it.

I have k-light 202, a 200cc motorcycle i drove 12,000 km with it and this is the first time I've seen your video to discover the place of the oil filter 😬😬😬, man i hope oil filter is clean, I don't wanna mess it up
I’m glad you discovered something new and I hope you have success with your next oil change. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers, ~Nate

Hello there, Nate!😃 In Europe that bike is called "Keeway K-Light 125". Benelli is another whole different brand.😀 Usually the 1st oil service is done at 1000 kms. No wonder the oil was so dark.🤔 What do you do with the used up oil? How do you dispose of it?😶
Thanks for the view and comment! So the Kee-way motor that was in this Benelli and Benelli itself has been purchased by a Chinese company QianJiang (QJ) group. It’s a huge company that has even debuted in the world of MotoGP recently. QJMotor. Moto3 in 2022 and Moto2 in 2023.
I purchased the motorcycle used with 3,200 kilometers already on it, so I was the lucky on to discover this nasty oil. Always contact your local govt about proper oil disposal, in America you can drop the oil at local auto parts retail stores like Advanced Auto or O’Reillys.
Cheers, ~Nate
Do you have any suggestions on how to get a little more top end on a 2021 k light
Jay Jay: good question, I’ll be getting deeper into research on ideas for that model when I get back to the bike early 2024. But, the easiest way to increase the top end is to change your sprockets. You can make a large increase by adding a tooth to the front sprocket or reducing the amount of rear teeth. Adding one to the front is about equal to removing three from the back. How much more to end are you looking for? Remember, your gears will all be longer and lose a little bottom end torque so make small adjustments.
Then it will get into letting the engine breath better, so, we upgraded the air cleaner with a higher flow filter and allow it to escape easier with a higher flowing exhaust with fewer restrictions on the way out. This will also increase volume and may not be allowed in certain regions due to emissions restrictions. Hope this helps and thanks for the watch and the comment. Cheers, ~Nate
I put my oil screen in backwards and I can’t get to my bike rn will it be okay ? Or should I be worrying and flip tomorrow
You’ll probably need alright but you can try to lay your bike on its right side so the oil stays in the bike and remove the screen, flip it, and reinstall without losing any oil. How you do anything is how you do everything so do it right, right! Cheers, ~Nate
Hey man I've been thinking of getting this bike for my self but I have some fears regarding the size of the machine. How tall are you and do you reckon a 6'4 driver is going to be comfortable on it? If not, do you have any recommendations for a 125cc within a similar price range? Thanks!
Apologize for the delay in responding, been on a road trip. Thanks for watching and commenting. I think at 6’4” you’ll be a little tight on the bike with its standard fort controls and over smaller structure. It really takes a seat on it to find out if you fit or not…. Find a dealer and have a free seat. I always recommend something in the dual sport models for taller clients, it allows more room on the bike and lets you stretch out. In the USA, we don’t have many 125 street options at all unfortunately, so not sure what is out there in your neck of the woods. Wishi could be more helpful with your Moto hunt. Cheers, ~Nate
Thanks a ton! Hope you had fun on your rod trip!
@@najdanbozic9253 I’m 6”4 with this bike it’s tight and I look a little funny on it but it’s not the worst you can get used to it
