@@spiegelbetrachtung1290 I have a similar bar on my Honda Shadow, and I can't see the top of my speedo unless I peek below the bars :D Tbh I don't mind though, I'm pretty rarely actually looking at a speedo, since either you're driving with traffic, or its an open road and you drive what you drive.
He could always do what I do: I typically use my phone as a speedo... Recently I just decided to buy a phone for my bike.. lol It's cheaper than a GPS unit, has "drive mode" which is a GPS map, with a large speedo on it and music controls as well. It was a 50$ prepaid deal, and in an emergency I can use it to call for help. I just bring it in at night to charge or whatever, it fits in a nice low profile mount and looks like it belongs there... most people assume it's a stock dash like an expensive BMW or KTM or something. There is always a way to make style and function work together, you just gotta get creative. Sometimes when I ride on busy roads or short stretches of the confusing highway, I mount my gopro to my tail and connect to my dash phone. Instant rear view camera, built in wide angle and it was free because I had everything already and I typically have my gopro in my bag anyway. I'd highly advocate for running a cheap or older "drawer phone" as a bike dash. You can do SO MUCH with it. It's 100x better than a com device because you can make standard calls and voice texts, etc. You can have your own music and audio books/podcasts, you have GPS, and emergency apps all available in one device, and you can easily just take it off and use it as a phone or watch videos or google something. You can find 100 different mounting options including super low profile steering stem mounts like mine, millions of cases for the phone to fit your style or make it waterproof, and you can set a cool custom screensaver to add style points to the bike when it's parked. Sorry about the rant, I just think it's an awesome idea more people should use. Not to mention you can use it as a dash cam, rear view, or directly stream your location and use standard free find-my-phone apps for security stuff. It's definitely worth checking out, especially if you want to do what Ryan did and hide your original speedo or remove it altogether.

"How fast are we going?"
"I don't know, these new bars are in the way!"
But they look great.
I was wondering about that too. Maybe it's not a problem from the seating position.
I said the same thing.
He could always do what I do:
I typically use my phone as a speedo...
Recently I just decided to buy a phone for my bike.. lol
It's cheaper than a GPS unit, has "drive mode" which is a GPS map, with a large speedo on it and music controls as well.
@@spiegelbetrachtung1290 ...it's not a problem....I ran 10" risers and drag bars for a while and you can see the indicator lights just fine.

All the best for your endeavors my dude!!!
My first bike was a $400 Buell Blast in boxes. Spent a month assembling it like a jigsaw puzzle and only made two mistakes despite not using instructions/manuals. $400 can buy a bike, but you're going to have to do some work on it before it can be ridden.

@@PMitchell106Hello there; and thank you for your comment. It would be weird to reference a video (at this time, 11months old) without having watched it. Unfortunately, you are reading something into my comment that does not exist; that is, me, somehow intimating that the channel was about hating Harley Davidson.
However, and I hope this isn't too meta for you, many people did equate the "How Harley Davidson Killed itself" video as hate for that manufacturer, those people, to put it simply got butthurt; just reference (google) all the news sites, blogs, and other youtube 'responses.'
So when I ask if the Harley Mafia got to him, I'm referencing those 'Butthurt' individuals, and the people who willingly White Knight for Multi-Million dollar corporations, (Failing or Otherwise).
I could keep going on, but this comment is starting to turn into an essay. So I must weigh the value of my intellectual capability to elevate you to my viewpoint versus your apparent ability to comprehend. The way the nuances of my original comment flew over your head do not give me much confidence. So I therefore terminate this comment, and wish you a wonderful, and productive day.
@@christopherscott7747 your “intellectual” comment is no better than a middle school research paper. Neither is your original comment any funny, especially if you had known RyanF9 has always liked Harleys as the most customizable bike.

It still looks good, and the underlying point - that you don’t have to change a lot to make a big change and that the bike should please you, are both dead on and beautifully illustrated.
