Meaning if it tells you that you're travelling at let's say 100 miles an hour then you're likely doing about 93/94 mph. One positive is that it helps driver NOT get speeding tickets!

Remember that the speedo probably reads a few percent more than the actual speed..so...111kph is probably around 100kph in reality
