- 9000 hour scout main struggling for weeks to beat a challenge in a 17-year-old video game. This TF2 Challenge video took me 5 months to make so I hope you enjoy this project of mine :). I like making lots of different types of TF2 videos from challenge videos to pub trolling videos. Although these videos take a while to make, I do really enjoy working on these TF2 videos in my spare time and have quite a few good ideas in the future! Glad you enjoyed the vid man :). Its a pretty fun combo to use from time to time
NGL the strat was to find a 2fort match that lasts 2+ hours, outlast everyone else who eventually leaves (also hitting oblivious snipers), and then eventually map ends with you being only one who played the whole map
Good point! But I wanted to top score by outskilling the opponents rather than outlasting them XD
@@Amik totally fair lmao. I have top scored as the dumbest crap by spending 3 years of my life on a server where all the scouts failed to cap.
Editing suggestion: you know those Summoning Salt record time graphs where he plots the record times of various players over time?
Something like that would be really nice to show the tension and flow of the game in the final match, where it felt like most of the people who almost overtook you at one point or another were random names. Seeing them rise and fall on a graph would really help keep everything in context for the viewer and stress how close it was. GG on the challenge, you're insane!

My take away from this is that I'm glad I don't play competitive, because the Wrap Assassin is in no way broken, and banning it is stupid.
Also I checked, and it's only banned in EU 6v6. No other comp format bans it. So the EU 6v6 panel that bans these things are the real losers.
You could use the baby face blaster, with those 2 weapons to get soo much speed you can outrun rockets
I remember I got a level three sentry so low on health I destroyed it with a Wrap Assassin ornament. Best Wrap Assassin kill (kinda) I’ve ever had

@@succyfish5451 if you are doing your job well as scout, or if you have a competent sniper or spy, the medics won't be a problem. If you have even a slightly competent demo or soldier, the sentry will be no problem.
@@succyfish5451 Omg, I was thinking the same thing! Sniper is basically a complicated sentry for area denial, but scout is like the diet power class. Power, but dies as soon as someone breathes down his neck.
Scout is a glass cannon of course he's frail.

lately people realized how absurdly powerful Medic really is. so now Medics actually became common, to the point where i have played games with the enemy team or mine having 3 Medics and me gettin used out of the third degree.

Saying throwing weapons are bad when he doesnt even use the most improtant thing that assists the throwing weapons, the fucking primary, its insane how you say throwing weapons are bad even though you have zero idea how to play the game
