- This is the second day of a new adventure as I explore a wilderness area in search of natural resources and a good location to establish the new hut. I'm carrying with me some essential items that I made and a small amount of food to keep me going for several days. On this day I found some very important resources that will be essential for me to inhabit this region. Watch closely as I put to use these basic primitive tools. You may recognize some of them from past videos such as when I made my small clay cooking pot. This series will be ongoing to be sure to stay tuned for the next video.

Who films you?
Me. I travel alone, shoot, edit, upload, everything, all alone. On a few occasions I may be accompanied by a friend.
How many cameras do you use?
Usually I use just one camera. When I have underwater scenes then I also use a GoPro camera. I get different angles by moving the camera around and repeating the action to create a more cinematic viewing experience for the audience.
Where is this place?
In order to protect the integrity of the natural landscape I prefer to be very vague about the locations I use. There are places that I used to visit that were so beautiful and untouched but the consequences of social media brought all kinds of people to visit and sadly some people do not respect nature and have badly damaged these places. Therefore I do not share locations.
Where did you get your sandals?
I first started wearing sandals on outdoor adventures in February 2014. I’m so glad that I did because wearing these Luna Sandals has really helped strengthen my feet. You can see their selection of adventure and running sandals at this link: www.lunasandal...

Do you workout?
Yes, I workout, but not in a gym. I have some weights that I use and also do a lot of bodyweight exercises. I also run and sometimes swim. I hike frequently to collect wild foods and to shoot these videos so I'm very active all the time.
Are you vegan or vegetarian?
I wish I could maintain my health on a primal diet that does not include animals but unfortunately that did not work well and I ended up with health problems as a result of those attempts. From my studies, observations of nature, and personal experience I have come to believe that the best diet for optimal human health is a primal diet (paleo).
Do you get lonely when you’re alone?
No, I don’t get lonely. I’m actually so busy shooting video, taking photos and doing so many other things like making cordage, cooking, weaving, etc. that I really don’t have time to think about my lonely condition. Sometimes when something profound happens on an adventure I can’t wait to share it with people, but other than that I do not get lonely.
How many languages do you speak?
My first language is English but I also speak fluent Spanish and Portuguese. I also speak very little Russian. I may soon begin learning more languages.
How old are you?
I was born in 1972. At the time of this video I was 48.
Where did you get the music in your videos?
This series is the first one that I am making all the music myself. I recently made a drum and maracas (rumba shaker). I am now using them to create the intro and ending music in my videos, but before in the past I have used royalty free music from several sources including UA-cam. Sometimes I bought the music but usually it was free.

I don't like to comment on youtube videos often. But, you and Les Stroud are my top two favorite survivalists at this point. I started practicing with Les's videos when I was a teenager, (I'm 30 now), and you're the only person besides him I let teach me.
Both of you have taught me more than many have and through practice and persistence it's become second nature.

I watched your amazing 20 minute video of your three years and had to see more. I visited your website/blog and was almost embarrassed to realize you aren't actually living like this all the time and you aren't actually in this top physical shape just due to your survival life haha, you go to the gym, wear clothes etc. I mean what was i thinking, that someone would actually do this for real all the time...But it doesn't matter because these videos are truly some of the best things to make a person go back to the natural way of life, out of society. This is inspiring.

What would be really interesting is some kind of behind the camrea! Show how you setup your camera, HOW DO YOU CHARGE it, how do you carry it and so on. I've wondered since finding your channel and watching your previous series, if you've ever considered gathering together some other primal survivalists and forming a small village.

If I may ask a question, how does choosing the location work? Do you have to ask the authorities some kind of permit (e.g. for educational purposes) to roam in a designated territory? The previous series was located in a place apparently very close to civilization (those pesky feral power lifters...), but you went and built all that with no issues, so I am just curious on how that works.

@@lovethyenemy435 How bad do u hate it? Enough to do something about it?? Only u can decide who u will be and what you're willing to do to get there. Demand more of yourself and u will know who u are. You'll see that that person had everything u needed all along to not just survive, but thrive! 💪 Remove yourself from that horrible place filled w/all the people that help u stay where u are. Freedom and a new horizon brings a new perspective. Use every achievement/accomplishment (no matter how small it may seem) to move u forward 1 day at a time. Ask for help if u need to get clean, find a counselor (be honest and never miss an appt), get up early every day, eat healthy, drink lots of water, read, get a couple of jobs to keep u busy (idle hands make the devils workshop) so you're too tired to do anything but sleep when u get home. Find a mentor/sponsor to hold u accountable and ignore everything but taking care of u in a positive way for once. You just might like who comes out, and see that you're more than worth the effort. No one else can love u the right way until u love yourself. Don't know your religious affiliation, but prayer/church (wherever that may be for u) never hurt anybody. When u can't deal with it on a bad day, ask God to carry your burden for the day. The next day u can pick it back up again. He's always there, watching, listening, loving, caring, waiting to be asked. Then u have the foundation u need for ANYTHING u come up against in life. The rest will be easy. Dream of the life u want for yourself. THINK BIG! When u are strong enough to go out on your own, and when u have enough $ saved, use it to move to that place of dreams and new beginnings, and start your new journey in life. I know it's possible bcuz I (and many others) have done this. Things change all the time in life. So stop seeing yourself as a victim and go get the life u want. You have what it takes! 💯 This is just a season and it will pass. So hang in there. It does get better.....I PROMISE! 👍😊

The mind is not influenced and contaminated by society. You got that right. Hey, have you considered making a hut in the fashion of the neolithic peoples, it's like a teepee of logs, but then it's woven with branches in a thick weave, mud and thatch is then added.
I am considering all ideas for new designs. I'll probably make several huts. I like your suggestion though.

He is rich he has a super trailer with tons of food and Gatorade🥪🥤, bed and energy supplies. No way the guy can survive without camping equipment to sleep on the desert area. I was born into the Sonoran desert with rattle snakes🐍, scorpions🦂🦂, mosquitoes 🦗🐜🕸🕷rocks, cactus etc. Unless you born into the wilderness you will understand. No way he will sleep one night on a cave .🦇🦇🦇🐍🐍🐍Desert temperatures can drop minus -20 and during the day rich 120°☀️🔥.He and his team are good actors and photoshop photographers.. HOLLYWOOD WESTERNS MOVIES. I know California people.

Not too close though because during heavy rains there can be flooding in this area. Higher up the mountain would be better to settle.

I remember my memorian when I still kids....I was always living in the farm and in the forest for keeping our plant by wild boar, the plant eater and mongkeys hunt😄😍 Do you know,,, i really missing it the moment of now, in my age 26 ...😭 i miss the moment without problem with other ppl, not polution or the noise and commotion of people is not clear ... it feels like I want to live there again ,, but my mother is no longer there to accompany me ..
