Please could you put a session on for wrist massage with a roller ball. I sprained my wrist 2 weeks ago and have started doing your yoga for wrist pain video which is really helpful. I have limited range of movement in my wrist but it is gradually getting better. I liked your comment about also stretching the triceps and fascia of the whole arm as that certainly helped, I fell onto my outstretched hand and jarred my shoulder too - that made a lot of sense to me. I love your videos , have done most of your challenges and many other targeted videos and the lower spine course. I love your gentle but informative style of teaching - you are excellent! I’m glad I saw this video! I’m new to yoga & have been trying many of your videos for chronic pain that I have. I have noticed since starting yoga though both my wrist hurt so badly when doing different yoga positions where I have to stop. I didn’t know If That was normal to experience or not.

I have fibromyalgia too and my forearms are one of those weird places that always seem to hurt. This was so great for that, especially the massage part. Would this video help with carpal tunnel symptoms, and/or is it possible to do a video focusing on that?

Wonderful stretches! I was looking for something to address hand pain but many of these stretches and exercises covered the same ground. I have hand pain that tends to create tightness all the way up my arm. Do you have a stretching video for arms in the plans?

Hi Joelle, I'm recovering from a hip surgery and walking with crutches, which puts a lot of pressure on my hands and shoulders. This routine has been really helpful for my hand pain! However, I can't find a routine to release my shoulders/neck/upper back that I can do because they all demand poses I cannot do right now. Do you have an upper back routine that I can do seated on a chair or lying down on my back?
So glad this is helpful for your wrists! Hmmm, I do have several upper back routines, though none that are exclusively supine or chair-based. I'd suggest looking through the upper body playlist here, where several of them could have large parts done in a chair to mimic what I'm doing sitting on the mat. ua-cam.com/play/PL9wzuXltV2000B1xmeO3rkE0RGuHw0nPm.html Off the top of my head I'd try the hunchback practice or the rhomboid one to see how those go for you, and there are probably a few others you could try, too!
It might indeed help, although sometimes that's also linked to tight shoulders and not just wrists. Check out my upper body playlist for more practices on these areas that could help! 😉

Hi Joelle, I'm recovering from a hip surgery and walking with crutches, which puts a lot of pressure on my hands and shoulders. This routine has been really helpful for my hand pain! However, I can't find a routine to release my shoulders/neck/upper back that I can do because they all demand poses I cannot do right now. Do you have an upper back routine that I can do seated on a chair or lying down on my back?
So glad this is helpful for your wrists! Hmmm, I do have several upper back routines, though none that are exclusively supine or chair-based. I'd suggest looking through the upper body playlist here, where several of them could have large parts done in a chair to mimic what I'm doing sitting on the mat. ua-cam.com/play/PL9wzuXltV2000B1xmeO3rkE0RGuHw0nPm.html Off the top of my head I'd try the hunchback practice or the rhomboid one to see how those go for you, and there are probably a few others you could try, too!
I have issues turning my hands to point at my body in several of the routines. Will this help with this or could you make one? Moíra
It might indeed help, although sometimes that's also linked to tight shoulders and not just wrists. Check out my upper body playlist for more practices on these areas that could help! 😉

That's good news, great job coming back to it! If your thumbs aren't used to being stretched and working like this, it's not unusual for them to feel sore - that shows they're doing the work :)
