I used to crack my neck and back constantly to relieve the tension. When I started yoga, not having to do that anymore was just one of the benefits. But I wanted something specifically for the neck that I can do whenever and wherever college takes its toll on me, so this is perfect. Thank you!

i’m recovering from a pinched nerve in my neck and I truly feel this sequence helped speed up my recovery. I did this last night and could actually get out of bed this morning without help

I have been practice this neck stretch routine also your shoulder and hips mobility started a week ago.

I commented on here approximately a year ago I have fibromyalgia and I'm still using it now and it's helping, although I'm doing it a bit more gently now as I was in a car accident about 6 weeks ago and although I'm not seriously hurt I got whiplash. I've not done this yoga routine for the last 6 weeks just doing the physio exercises (which are pretty similar only less). My neck is really hurting today and causing a really bad headache and I thought I may as well try just being careful not to push too far and it has helped. My neck still feels sore but a lot of the really bad tension has gone and my headache feels easier with no pain killers. I do also use some essential oils which are good for muscle pain and tension but I think using them and your yoga sequences together is so much more effective so thank you

I have just started watching your videos. Two shoulder exercises done 2 days in a row and my arm is finally mobile and pain free. I have had this pain for months. Thank you. I would like to see exercise for my neck that constantly crunches when I turn my head. Was told it’s arthritis and live with it.

Great job Alison! Eagle pose is one so many of us struggle with, and that's why I also love the option of placing hands on opposite shoulders - that can be a really similar stretch that targets the same area 😉

I have tried a lot of neck yoga videos and yours has worked for me the best. Thank you! I have been experiencing neck pain this past year that have affected my arms into tingling pain. I have corrected most of the issue with proper posture st my desk but sometimes i still have a tight neck every now and then. I sleep so much better with my neck relaxed after a long day

I really like this neck stretch video that I do in a chair. I cannot do the standing forward bending position, can you please let me know how that one can be done while still sitting in a chair . Thank you

Do you you have one for ankle pain and strengthening? I twisted my left ankle a couple of years ago and tore some ligaments. By compensation I got a bursitis on the right hip🙄. I do your sequences for the hip, which are very helpful, now I need to take care of my ankle and foot. Thank you! 🙏
My pleasure Stefania! I have an ankle mobility practice (ua-cam.com/video/7ZHjiBFRws0/v-deo.html), though I will say it's quite an intense one! Perhaps try my yoga for calves (ua-cam.com/video/zPzSkLHp9ws/v-deo.html) and my foot pain video (ua-cam.com/video/9GiLEupJq40/v-deo.html) first, as they are a little gentler and will both contain some good stretches and exercises for ankles as well. Over time, you can then build up to the ankle one once you feel a bit more comfortable. I hope that helps - and great job on being so consistent!! 😃

Hi thank you for this it helps relieve the pain in my neck and get rid of my tension headache. Can I ask a question please. I can't sit cross legged due to an internally rotated left hip and childhood knee injury in the same leg. I started cross legged but I can't sit up straight and the pain in my hip became unbearable and cracked like mad when I got up. I'm also doing your supine hip pain video all be it at the lowest possible level and slower and less time than you but I seem to be improving. I finished the neck video sat on a chair will that be OK? I was thinking next time a harder more upright dining chair might be better than my slouchy (needs replacing) sofa. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again
Hi, so glad this helped with your neck pain! Great question about sitting in a chair - that is a great modification, and you will absolutely get the same benefits for your neck and upper body. Find the seated position that works best for you, and never feel like you have to match exactly what I'm doing if it doesn't feel right! 🌟 I'm so glad you're trying the supine hip routine and listening to your body to go slow. I love the work you are doing with this channel. I have recently started doing yoga everyday to help with sciatica, back and neck pain and knee injury and your channel is my go to for targueted exercises. Since I sit down to work for many hours a day, this has been helping a lot, even in just the short period I have done it for. One question though: How do I wrap my arms like in the last exercise? I tried a couple times but I can't get my palms to lay flat on the other arm. Maybe my arm and shoulder flexibility is just not enough :p
I'm so glad you enjoy practicing together, thanks for the lovely message! That eagle arms posture at the end is a tricky one, and tight shoulders or upper back muscles can often hold us back. You can certainly bring backs of the hands together instead, or even give yourself a hug with one hand on each shoulder is a great modification. Oh and little tip: the class coming out tomorrow should be a good one for you too 😉

@@YogawithJoelle thank you Joelle. I had seen this one which I shall definitely work with more. I was actually wondering whether you had any actual stretches for rib/diaphragm muscles? You seem to have an amazing ability to find stretches for parts of the body that I’ve never stretched before which is so releasing. The other part I struggle with is tight pectoral muscles. I’m a clarinet player so I effectively ‘breathe’ for a living which is why I’m especially interested in finding ways to access greater relaxation in this area. I’m so grateful to you for your amazing content. Your videos are fantastic and a regular go to for me.
