Omggg i found a ton of this today. My phone was dead but i knew i had watched one of ur shows with this pattern. Omg I am so thankfull you share your years of education and expertise. Youe the best
Omg that's out the gate I have 2. one small and one big one Wow it's seen many casseroles 🍵 mine are 20yrs old and I'm sure they are older it was given to me when I was 20 and I'm 60 now. Gosh who new that these casserole dishes are worth much...Amazingly crazy.
No Corning ware dish is worth that! Don't be a fool people! These scammers are doing this on ebay, please be careful & these kind of reports are fueling this nonsense!! makes me mad!!
Nope. Not true, reporter is spreading false news. Vintage Pyrex items are not worth that much. That fake 10K one time eBay sale is an example fraud, in which the seller buys his/her own stuff to spark interest and get additional buyers.
New inbox it's only worth 50.00-100.00 dollars maybe or even less . the patterns from the spice of life depending on when it was made can also contain lead . I have some blue cornflower which is very common and not that valuable. It's great stuff though we grew up with it . 😄
@@jayblackwood1171 Much, if nost most of it contains lead, arsenjc and cadmium, among other bad stuff. Mostly on the colored outside, but many people stack them and you still handle them to clean and use. As they get older, they shed more. If you have their little glass bread pans, the pink is LOADED with lead. Like, hundreds of thousands of PPM. I recall those often got stacked and were VERY hard to get apart. As they get older, they fade from use and handling. You can see your old, worn one compared to a newer/less used one. You can shine a bright light through it and see exactly how it was handled. ALL the promo glasses from fast food places; Care Bears, Smurfs..? LOADED with heavy metals. They also fade and wear. Sad to think we kids used these and ATE FOOD with microscopic heavy metal particles in it! No wonder society is full of fat morons, lol
@@jayblackwood1171 Is CorningWare lead and cadmium free? Description. Some “glass” cookware is tempered with ceramic to make it more durable than just glass, but still just as safe. Corningware makes Visions (stovetop) and Pyrex cookware, both of which are considered glass cookware. Corningware is guaranteed lead-free.
@@jayblackwood1171I know this is a years old post but you seem pretty knowledgeable about the vintage Corning Ware. I have searched all over the internet and have not been able to find any prices on sealed items. I have one of the Merry Mushroom pattern, sealed in the box. I’d appreciate any advice! Thank you
@Jason Black the ones with the really high prices aren’t SELLING at that price. They are ASKING that price. Let me guess, you google searched it and saw $1000+ prices at the top of the page? Those are items that are available for purchase now, listed on ebay and etsy by average Joes like you and me. These are not items that have already been bought, that’s why they’re still up for sale. The ones that HAVE been bought you can find by going to ebay, searching for the item, and then adding the search filter “sold items” to show only items that have actually made the sale aleady. You’ll see the prices are all under $50.
Yes agree,.. Only collectors to know & understand it.. I go for anything worth having, worth keeping,.. For the longer I hold on to it, the better for my great grands,..
They need to do the research on this new show because no CorningWare has sold for $10,000
