Staying democratic but never join the Allies. Wait for WW2 to kick off and wait for Germany to take out the Benelux. Then you have to take out Italy and Germany basically solo. The Allies will be at war too but most only in Africa. Just never join them or give them military access. After you win, and it's not easy, in the peace deal you have to be a bit clever and lucky to get all German and Italian Cores. After the peace deal the Benelux will stay under your control because you aren't in the faction. After that form the EU then continue down the Monarchist path to flip non aligned. I almost managed it but the Allies managed to occupy Istria making it too expensive in The peace deal. So I missed it by one provence. Trying again soon.
Additionally, you could've created 1 single Infantry division with nothing else. Why? The AI doesn't (or very rarely) changes their unit template. You can still change your divisions into something stronger. That, together with the Lend Lease cheese, makes this strategy even cheesier.
Challenge for you since you talked about grabbing fleets through puppets: starting as any nation, collect the pride of the fleet for every starting major in a reserve fleet.
The way to keep world tension as low as possible to complete the mission tree is in each peace deal release the colonial holdings of each country which is why, if posdible; declare war on the Netherlands and Belgium as late as you can because releasing the Dutch East Indies and the Kongo reduces world tension greatly.

Idea: drop a couple of paratroopers into Romania and Yugoslavia and make it so both countries “fought” in the first war so you could just annex them and not have to worry about them later

when doing a naval invasion, clicking force attack makes it much more likely to land. Not enough command power? Simply unassign all but one division from your general, then click force attack for super cheap, and then reassign all the troops to him.
there is also a way to use about 300 tac bombers to really easily sink the entire sub fleet and a large part of the destroyers of England and or France, so your fleet will easily have supremacy. It will take a bit of time (4-20 ships a day), so not suited for fast rush, but very suited for ww2.

Yoink Czechoslovakia and Romania, possibly leaving Yugo to the italians. 3) after that, immediately go for the civil war 4) rush return of the Kaiser, disbanding the army to ensure the Dutch deny you, putting Wilhelm Junior in charge 5) do alliance with the shade and the decisions you need to do to get Victoria as Kaiserin 6) you're in the allies, so nobody is going to guarantee Austria, Italy, and the Benelux. invade, do your thing and restore HRE. 6 is the main point here. does it REALLY work like that?

To be honest with you I don't think this works anymore with the NSB updated UI. They push into Germany too fast. It becomes a race to cap UK/France before they cap you. I've tried fallback lines and ways to slow them but it's hard to cap both of them before you lose Germany. Out of 3 games I've only come close once. I'm going to try another but it is difficult since they push so hard. I'm capping UK in a few weeks but landing in France is difficult to get a port. I could take France first but then I'd never beat the royal fleet. Update. On my 5th try I got it. It is much harder than it used to be and you need to have many many things go your way. I capped Paris right before they got to Berlin. I had to have some good divisions sitting in Berlin to hold them off. It also helps to have a few fast units in Reserve to cut off supply from behind.

Here is what I did: I got the war goal on the US, but it doesn't go on 64% with that, it took a while. That is maybe why it worked, because with that delay, I built a biger army. The UK was captured before France, 16 Units covered the Maginot-Line (they didn:t break through or somethin', they just stayed there) the Czech got a breakthrough by me, but conquered that over time and got their own which was little, so no danger if you keep with the idea of sending permanent new troops to the border (musn't even be regularly) and the French will be capitulated around 12. October 1936 which also brings the Little Entente to an auto. fall. Hopefully, you are ok with the relatively late end of the war if you go like that, but you get the Little Entente without an extra war, so should be worth it. Problems I had: Going Schlieffen isn't a good idea, the French will get further in your territory or you get the option to invade Spain to the faction what isn't good, 'cause they get Italy and maybe Hungary into their civil war causing Republican Spain to join the allies and everything is destroyed. You will win, but you won't get the peace conference and all that stuff. But you probably know all that due to experience.

I tried that many times during my attempts to proclaim kaiserreich (defeat france early for alsace of course),I only sometimes manage to land but i get attrition and they are psuhing me back ;( Their navy is sinking my convoys,that's why i get the attrition
In this situation, we get superiority because the AI isn't expecting us. Their fleet is inactive and will need time to get in position to contest our fleets. So we get a small window of time. If you justify or do a focus, the AI will get warning and will prepare
Democratic Germany when played in the way the devs intented you to play it, is propably the most OP country in the game and also at the same time one of the most boring countries in the game. The most fun Germany IMO is the "gamers rise" Germany :D Kaiser Germany is fun too but it's pretty much the same as default Germany anyways.

im having trouble with this. i try to start it all by feb 18th or 24th some time early but when i invade france i get stomped, im not able to get my trucks to do a quick loop around and capitalize on them to surrender. they overrun my guys before i can do anything IS IT rng based or has something changed?

Is there a reason why you didn't also take Ireland when attacking the UK, and why you didn't take Denmark and Sweden? Those are EU countries as well. (Near the end you said you didn't take Portugal, Bulgaria or Poland because of China, is the same true for the above?)
Would it have worked to simply join the Chinese United Front yourself (as you were also Non-aligned after the Civil War) to prevent Portugal, Bulgari nd Poland from joining it?
I tried doing this but I actually went fully down the democratic branch and created the Central European Alliance. What’s funny is that France became communist and joined the Comintern and then Italy, trying to still be historical since I had historical AI focuses on, declared on France so then the Soviets invaded Italy and then I tried fighting a 3 front war and it actually went pretty well until Belgium capitulated to France as I was curb stomping them and everything kinda collapsed.

Any tips on managing resistance? i ended up doing this, however i had serious problem stopping resistance, my manpower and equiptment was gobbled up by garrisons, and when i pulled the garrisons, there were loads of uprisings after?

Not completely ineffective; they are twice as easy to catch for destroyers/naval bombers, but their torpedoes are still as effective as in ocean

World tension did not go high as yours when I justify the war goal on the USA.
Is there a reason why you didn't also take Ireland when attacking the UK, and why you didn't take Denmark and Sweden? Those are EU countries as well. (Near the end you said you didn't take Portugal, Bulgaria or Poland because of China, is the same true for the above?)

I tried doing this but I actually went fully down the democratic branch and created the Central European Alliance. What’s funny is that France became communist and joined the Comintern and then Italy, trying to still be historical since I had historical AI focuses on, declared on France so then the Soviets invaded Italy and then I tried fighting a 3 front war and it actually went pretty well until Belgium capitulated to France as I was curb stomping them and everything kinda collapsed.

I managed to do it in August of 39 and get all UK colonies but it is a different strategy 🤫
Any tips on managing resistance? i ended up doing this, however i had serious problem stopping resistance, my manpower and equiptment was gobbled up by garrisons, and when i pulled the garrisons, there were loads of uprisings after?
Use a proper garrison template, like cav with MP and prioritize them for equipment (garrisons). And use local police force
