I think the best way to summarize Greece is that I had 27 different ironman savefiles trying to get 1 Greece achievement.
do you delete your savefiles? if you don't, you should check how large your save file folder is

oh… i love this empire, but i wish there was a more dedicated better designed tree to do this. however, i remember watching your old video of this empire and loving it, and wanting to see other youtubers doing it but couldnt find any. finally you posted a new video of it, cheers!

i had a sorta similar problem with france where i established vichy at the same time a civil war triggered (stole all my land) and declared war on vichy, joined the axis and vichy joined the allies.
that game was a strange one…
Fun fact, Greece is the only country that actually is paying their debts, on the other hand Germany never did.
Whilst in reality, Germany finished paying reparations for the first World War, in like 2017-2019 and they're just starting to pay the reparations for WW2 and there was/is negotiations for them to pay for Italian and Greek reparations ad well.
So, in real life, Germany is the only country to have paid thoroughly for wars they didn't start.

1.start as mengukuo
2.do the part of the focus tree which makes you stay with the japanese
3.break off and declare war on the japanese between 1945 and 1950, but you must have already finished off all Japanese enemies
4.survive till 1960
rules:no cheesing, you can't do a step before the other, play it in hoi4 with all DLCs active and no mods active

Irregulars doesn't cost you or your puppet anything. Some Irregulars have terrain bonusses similar to special forces. I don't think there is any disadvantage about them. Most of them are best used in desert, forest or mountain IIRC. Their equipment is also just created, so aside from free manpower, a freely trained unit, you get the manpower free (or in this case your puppet) and you get the equipment for free. You do reinforce them with actual MP and Eq, which is why you best use them where they're stronged or otherwise on guard duty.

I don't get priorising the leftmost production tech research since usually my efficiency isn't maxed out on most production lines anyways so I get nothing from it "early" on.
Fairly certain you gain efficiency faster or something from it too. I can't remember exactly how it was to be calculated though.

Try the qing empire great war redux but with the sub mod that ad a bigger focus three is a good challenge for you

the "resources to market" part of Greece in hoi4 makes no sense, because there is NO WAY to encourage the AI to buy anything from you? which makes no sense at all
It pretty much saps your resources. Even if the AI isn't buying, the resources in question are unavailable to you because they are reserved for the open market
Respect for recognising that Alexander the great was greek. The truth always shines.
Any chance we'll see some comprehensive guides for Italy? Ultimate Italy (Mussolini & Greater Italy); Roman Empire; Pope; Communist under Gramsci? You're the best for guides but we haven't seen a lot lately and it would be a shame if you abandoned them.

I wondered if forming the Macedonian Empire was a thing, now I'm definitely doing this. Too bad this wasn't one of the achievements for Greece, it's much more interesting than the other ones.

he did quite a lot. Alexander set the groundwork for a Greek golden age before it declined when the Romans conquered.

Hey Bitter have a video idea play as any nation but you must mainly use light tanks with a minimum speed on 8kph. You also can only add lights tanks with wheels or half tracks. You are not allowed to build towed AA or AA tanks or half track/wheeled tanks.

Everything was going well until I had I joined the germans, I couldn't get enough naval superiority to invade UK. Plus France fell a little later than in your playthrough. I did get to puppet all of Italy though.

On my first try doing this I got the most op Italy and the weakest Germany I have ever seen and my first naval invasion got pushed back by coast guards on every single tile and the Italy proceeded to cap Germamy once they declared on Poland
It would of been even better if you could of formed the empire as Macedonia
