Bruh Mercedes had a similar looking range even 30 years ago.. look at the W201 W124 and W126. They all look very similar. So similar in fact that their designer had to deliberately redesign the W124 so it would look a bit different to the 190e..

Ostkreutz Rox yes it all ended with the c63 amg edition 510. then they started using the 5.5l v8 which was great. I also think the new 4.0l engine isnt too bad. At least they stick to the v8 unlike other big brands like bmw or audi which both use 2,9/3.0l v6/r6 now. At keast in the m3/4 and rs4/5.
I own one of the last 2010 E63 proper cars. It's the best car i have ever owned the noise it makes alone gives me goosebumbs still and iv had it 6months. Truth is the engine is a monster and no other can compare to it if you ask me
ngl i heard the old and the new V8, the 6.2 NAs are nice but the 4L Turbos sound just as aggressive and even angrier when the turbo kicks in, less like a growling bear and more like a growling bear thats being stung by a thousand angry wasps, its epic.
Wow. I didn't expect that from Hammond, as those big engined AMG Mercs tend to be more Clarkson's sort of thing(he's owned about 4 of them - I think). The engine note on that car is amazing. One of the last naturally aspirated Mercs. I would of loved the old Top Gear team to have reviewed the later on Mercedes C63 AMG 507 Edition.
I was lucky to have owned one of these for about 3 months, and omg what a car it is, the acceleration is brutal and the sound is unmatched, simply what i think is the best sounding V8 Mercedes out there! Also what's neat is when you're done being a yob you can simply turn it back to comfort and then you have frankly one of the more civilized mercs out there, also it is the perfect sleeper, only enthusiasts would know to ask what it is.

I could agree myself. When I was in sixth grade I saw this ad in a magazine and thought to be a great looking doctor’s car. Those squarey split headlights are an eye catcher. It’s also the same E63 AMG I loved in Transformers: Dark Of The Moon with the flags in front.
AMGs are simply the best. I've been driving a CL 55 AMG for a few years now & it is the best car I have ever driven. I like my wife's CLK 550 with an AMG performance package, but nothing beats the 5.4 liter, supercharged, CL 55 AMG. Sure, the tires aren't cheap & if you take it to a Mercedes Benz dealer it will be expensive, which is why I do everything I can myself. Brilliant cars & seriously fun to drive. I've loved Mercedes Benz cars since my 1st car, a 1956 190 4 door sedan, with 4 on the tree. It also came with the original Blaupunkt radio & red leather interior. No, this wasn't the only Mercedes in the parking lot of my high school, but mine was paid for, by me of course & I'm fairly certain the other Mercedes required high monthly payments. Either way, they're great cars. My old 190 is still on the road today, with over 750,000 miles on it. That's reliability!
@@kenlee-97, not at a university, this was high school. My 1956 190 4 door cost me $300 and all 4 of the doors were rusted through the rocker panels. I bought the car when I was still 14 years old and it took my Dad and I about 2 years to get it in shape to drive when I got my driver's license 2 years later when I turned 16. Dad taught me to "lead" in the missing sheet metal on those rocker panels, instead of using Bondo. Then of course there was also what you might expect to repair on a 20 year old car that had been sitting for about 5 years. Distributor cap, plug wires, condenser, points, & a new battery. It truly did take 2 years of solid work to get it right again, but like I said, the car is still running and is a daily driver for the son of one of my buddies from high school days. The other Mercs being driven to school there were mostly 280 SL "Pagodas" and some sedans. What I found out was these kid's parents mostly drove their Mercs, but at times they let their kids drive them to school. I can almost guarantee that mine was the only one that was paid for back then. This was 1975 through 1976 that I lived there before moving to California and enlisting in the military.
