i use to be 220 lbs, 5'7 and went down to 145 during the pandemic and my journey was pretty much similar: black coffee, meat, veggies, fasting, and cardio exercises. Really simple but discipline is the key. Great job!!!

Bless you bro, I'm in a similar spot now.
5'9 235 and I've started my journey to weight loss. Looking to get to 165lbs.
I've been buying grassfed beef, drinking more coffee, and cutting out sugars.
Fasting is a big part of my journey as well.
I used to be really shredded in high school (Was a varsity wrestler and football player) and I'm turning 32 in a month. Trying to turn my life back in the right direction.

Heck yea! I’m 5’8” and Started at 195 and am down to 170. I’ll switch over to black coffee and see if that helps some more. The way I eat has been the easiest way to lose weight, for me. How’s the fasting working for you?

@@sunnykobe3210 let's go champ. The fasting makes the body tap into the fat, especially in the morning when i just wake up, have not eaten nothing, drink a light cup of black coffee and do my 8 mile run.

Good stuff. I am on a similar journey with daily intermittent fasting, keto, and 1 hour of rowing every other day. Shredding about half a pound per day. Also minimizing porn and masturbation to keep my testosterone levels as high as possible to put on muscle as quickly as possible.(A female, unavailable, entered my life recently and completely derailed the no fap life though. )

Great advice 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 We tend to think adding something new, something trendy is what will be the magic pill but it’s wrong. Strip it all away and look at what kept us healthy BEFORE all the science discoveries, before the biased financially driven views in media.
There’s a base there that many don’t want to face. It’s real food, sweat, rest and good relationships within our communities.

Chez, thank you soooo much for the information and advice!! I’m 6’3” 320lbs. Just last week I almost passed away and almost got airlifted because I was incredibly depressed and have been depressed and living in a darkened room* since my Pops passed away in 2018!!!!! So, that’s almost 5 years of staying home, snorting coke, drinking and that was after he passed. But, just last week, I almost passed away from doing fetty pills and I was dumb enough to take a Suboxone, which sent me straight into withdrawal’s. Anyways, that was the biggest eye opening experience of my life and now my eyes are more open than they’ve ever been!!! Now, I’m going to be sober & stay sober and start getting into shape and being more around my family and most of all, my world, my daughter!!!! I swear, it’s almost a blessing that, that happened because like I said, the first few days were extremely stressful & I was soooooooo sad and all I could think about was what I was missing out on, MY FAMILY & DAUGHTER!!!! You’ve motivated me to do better. Thank you!!!! #soberlife

You are right coach, i agree with it. And I agree with it because it is what I applied to my life and in 2020 and i got amazing results. results. I used to be the guy that went to the gym for an hour and a half, and I'm not saying anything bad about that, I love my gym time but there's a point in my life when I needed to change. I needed to be able to move again cause of my kids and my grandkids so I Stripped it all the way down to the basics. I used a kettlebell (and calisthenics), 10 minutes a day, and by the end of the year ( My kettlebell weight obviously went up and my reps with my calisthenics), i hit every goal i wanted. I lost 40 lbs, my waist decreases and i increased overall strength. I have sence then became a minimalist. So in my hubble opinion, this is some of the best advice.
