- In this video I review the BOSS of all string trimmers. The Ego 56Volt 16" trimmer with Line IQ, Powerhead, and a legit carbon fiber shaft. I go over the technical specs, the build quality, and show this bad mamma jamma in action. This string trimmer gave me just about an hour of cut time with the 4Ah battery. So to make sure the grass is NOT going bsck into the mulch bed do you have to walk forward or backwards/ left to right or right to left?? Thanks
Bro not sure if your joking but I’ll play along…..It spins clockwise so I’m assuming the grass should come back at you… walk from left to right but I can’t promise the occasional clipping might make its way into the bed

As fas as the trimmer is concerned, it isn't suoer comfortable as stated. Even with the strap. They're a bit on the heavy side. I've had my 15" trimmer since 2016. Just picked up my IQ so we'll see if it's better.
Do you know if it works well without the guard?
I’m assuming it needs the guard on at all times as there is a blade on there that keeps the string trimmed at a constant 16” diameter.
Mine did not come with the strap is it just me or is it missing out of my box someone tell me please I just unboxed this trimmer I have the 56 V
It does not come with one…. All that money you spent and you think they would include it

I found one on Amazon for exactly $5.32 and I just used the trimmer I kind of like it so far so good
why can’t I use this trimmer for an,edger keeps breaking the line etc.
Not sure I use the trimmer as an edger all the time. Maybe youre hitting something that’s chewing up the line.
Are you still using the EGO trimmer line or a different brand? I heard the MAXPOWER 0.095 line is 1 of the best out there.
Yes I bought a different brand after I used up what came in the box.

The Line IQ DOES NOT KEEP IT AT 16”, it will get as short as 12” before it advances more string
It actually has gotten down to around 8”before it advanced back to 16”. it’s not a constant feed to keep it cutting at 16” I thought that was common sense
The battery is 200.00 on its own.
