    Love your sofrito! ❤. Will keep making it! 🥰. Side note: will never buy Omi’s sofrito @ $14.99 for 12oz. plus shipping & handling. It is cheaper to buy sofrito ingredients and make it myself, and yield 2-3 times more in ounces than what she sells it for. For those in a pinch moments, I always have at least 4 cubes (tbsp) aside as a stash until I can buy more ingredients to make more ingredients.

    You are like me, I make my own. Like you say there’s nothing better then homemade sofrito. I don’t put onions in mine, why? Cause it tends to spoil the sofrito. And another thing I learned from my mom, that owned a Restaurant, was peel garlic in bulk put in a blender with olive oil and chop.
    After you chopped all the garlic, put it in a mason jar and store it in a the fridge. You can use it for so many things. Garlic bread 👍🏼

      You are so sweet! Thanks Odette. Achiote oil has a very long life shelf life. My mom said it can be out at room temperature for months so…I’m gonna go with that 😉

      No it can be left out on the counter room temp for a couple weeks.

    That Badia Complete Adobo might have MSG... Check the ingredients.
