"change the name of AR-15 to Marco Rubio because they are so easy to buy" LMAO !!! Good one !!!
"I'm a junior." - Sarah Chadwick
Well, why stop at Rubio? Make the name GOP. They are ALL bought by big money for various immoral causes.
"... change AR 15 to marco rubio cuz they're so easy to buy"
Reminds me of Professor Lockhart from Harry Potter. Happy to claim he'll run head first into danger only to cower in the corner behind children once it actually happens.
Jesse Hernandez Maybe Trump will meet the same end and have his memory wiped as well
The Lockhart character was based on tRump.
Huh, never thought of that...
.
AND I'VE JUST FINISHED CHAMBER OF SECRETS FOR THE 5TH TIME!
[2]
although former Professor Gilderoy Lockheart is currently residing in St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries' Spell Damage long-term ward and Trump is languishing in the White House, Tweeting his thumbs off.
I have referred to him as "the geriatric Lockhart" in the past
“They should change the name of ar15s to Marco Rubio because they are so easy to buy” ....wow! Hahaha
At long last! We missed you so much Seth. ♥️
Excellent
Well worth the wait. Now pardon me while I watch a dirty movie and eat corn pop
That burn by Sarah Chadwick is going to leave a mark.
Especially coz she is so right.
I never thought I would reach the moment in my life where I miss George W. Bush, but here it is...

Duuuuude. I know.

I think we need to make a petition that disallows Seth and his team from taking any more vacations.
The withdrawal was almost more than I could handle!

I'm down tbh
Adam S seriously?! He’s got a new born and trump takes up more time than the infant... he deserves to breathe, Seth does...
not to mention that horrible break we had to endure during John Oliver's absence
Nah. They deserve vacations and you people should find a different way to digest the news.
Drumpf also says he would've run into the school, even without a weapon.
This coming from a Vietnam draft dodger.
"I'd run in there even if I didn't have a weapon, but then my bone spurs flared up."
"This is one of the worst things about having Trump as President. Every time he goes on TV and blurts the dumbest things in the world, the rest of us have to debate it like it's a real idea."
I could not have put that better myself.
9:15 you guy ever notice how Trump crosses his arms during meetings like, ALWAYS! This is a sign of weakness. Wow.
Do you mean the way he crosses them? I cross my arms during meetings, its comfortable. I don't do it while I'm the speaker, though. He just looked silly there.
It's an indication of acute discomfort. Most politicians learn to hide obvious tells like that early on but not Trump because he has not been in a position where he felt so powerless before.
He's hugging himself. No one else would.
Nixon signs
I lost it when he started woofing as the "gun sounds"
Maybe we shouldn't give people automated killing machines
TheGold Paladin What the hell are you talking about? Automated? Do we have Firearms that march around like robots firing hundreds and hundreds of rounds all by themselves. Do they work like motion detectors? You are so goofy!
Nice try, Mince Gay, but it's not true that "Guns don't kill people, people kill people". What IS true is that "People with guns kill a hell of a lot more people than people without guns".
"Father, I´m running out of air!" Killed me :D

X DEMS FOR TRUMP
Yep a teenage boy with a mental disorder tried to take a gun from a cop and shoot Trump!👍
No gun I have ever fired has made the sound "bing", not even cap guns as a child. And again, the video of him holding onto the security at one if his rallies when he thought there was a gunshot, speaks volumes about him being willing to run into a building armed or not.
This whole situation honestly makes me so angry. With previous shootings we had some fringe groups talking crap about the victims, but now it's actual mainstream people like Fox News anchors and people like James Woods, literally targetting teenage school shooting survivors. What the actual fck America?
The kids are AMAZING though in their handling of it aren't they! I want to know how they got to where they are? Who trained them/raised them to be so strong & courageous & mature? Is the school they go to special in some way? They've said it prepped them as well as was possible. Their parents obviously get a lot of credit too, but all round I'm just blown away by how amazing these kids are! I would never have the control or tact to do what they're doing, even as an adult!
They're doing it because they have no other recourse. Normally the victims aren't so vocal about gun control protests so they can be ignored with the standard "Its terrible, thoughts and prayers" lines and then get back to attacking the other side with slippery slope arguments and exaggerated rhetoric. But now the victims are protesting and the people fighting so hard to not change anything don't really have a logical leg to stand on, so the discourse immediately becomes adhom attacks.
Why is it, that when new technologies, concepts and ideas come out, which can be used to turn a profit, companies immediately want to copy and implement them into their systems to make their product better. Yet when some countries use a certain political system and laws, which have proven to work for 50+ years, many countries hesitate, deny and go the opposite way, which we know makes matters worse.
For example: When Apple comes up with a new product, they will patent the hell out of it, because Microsoft and Google will for sure copy their idea, since they know it will make their product better.
If Switzerland, Norway, Sweden or Finland uses a system which has proven to lower crime rate, prolong life expectancy, good health care, good education, then why not implement that exact system? Why are politicians so stubborn when in comes to copying political systems from other countries? It's not like you can be too proud to copy another country when you have hit rock bottom already and have been struggling for decades.
Seriously, we're talking about human lives here. There should be no place for pride and stubbornness in situations like these.
Switzerland has the "right to acquire, possess and carry arms".
Wrong! You do NOT have the rights to carry arms, that is strictly banned. I am from Switzerland and there is so much misinformation created by american gun advocates, it's unreal. The amount of incorrect memes showing swiss people walking around with guns, saying everyone owns a gun, is just completely wrong.
The per capita of gun ownership in switzerland is very high due to our mandatory army service for any man between 18-34. After an initial 6 months of military training, you are being given a rifle which you can take home or leave at the nearest army barracks. The army used to give live ammo as well, however if the ammo would be opened up, you would be facing court martial. About 17 years ago after a shooting, they stopped handing out live ammo. You get to keep your rifle without ammo, or keep your rifle at the nearest army barracks for save keeping, because once a year, you have to do a few weeks of mandatory military service until the age of 34, along with yearly shooting practice on a shooting range.
Since the last mass shooting in 2001 in Switzerland, almost 90% of all soldiers decided to leave their rifle at the nearest barracks. When asked, soldiers said they are not interested in owning a weapon, mainly because they were trained to use a weapon in combat and understand the consequences of what kind of damage a weapon can do.
Anyone in Switzerland who has been convicted of a crime, is struggling with addiction, or has a 'violent or dangerous attitude, is banned from buying a gun. All gun owners must be able to pass a test on a shooting range before they are given a licence.
Those who do own a gun are banned from carrying it around - concealed-carry permits are not a thing, unless you're a security worker or a police officer. Hunters and sports shooters can only carry their guns between home and the range.

Michael Moore turned it into tv so he doesn't have to read to learn - but I guess he'd have to miss a shoot'em'up movie to watch that

What does he watch on TV if he didn't know there's been a rating system for programs for years (FCC 1997)?
icin4d, reality shows - especially The Apprentice. He seems to base all his knowledge of world matters on tv shows going by many of his tweets over the years (kardashians etc).
Since becoming president he seems to have decided he needs to watch "grown up shows", so he's switched from reality tv to the unreality of fox "news"
He hasn't even heard of the MPAA it seems, which has only been active since the late 60s... I guess he also wasn't aware that video games were being blamed in the 90s already, Mortal Kombat etc. Yet he is supposed to be in touch with the 'real people of America'.

From a non American POV, I have to say that Trump seems to be the most unqualified president you have ever had. But of course, if I'm not from America my POV is irrelevant
Neither am I, But you're still correct. Trump is a disaster for the US.
Trump is the best president we've had in my lifetime, and you wouldn't know because you think the lying media is honest and you think the school shootings are real. That being said, I want to express how impressive & inspirational these school students organising the #NeverAgain Movement are. Because the DNC rigged the primary and nominated the second most hated candidate in American history, and the media smeared and gave little attention to Kasich and Rubio because they were scared to death that every poll had them crushing their beloved Hillary.
I was totally asking myself the same question
Although, it would've been interesting to see how the media would've treated any Republican other than Trump against Hillary. Hillary was the second most hated candidate in history (just 1% below Trump), and the polls I saw didn't even mention who the 3rd most hated candidate was, leading me to believe that Trump and Hillary were way ahead of everyone (and deservedly so). The RCP averages showed Kasich up by 7% over Hillary and Rubio up over 4% over Hillary nation-wide. Without Trump, I think Cruz would've been the nominee. He would've lost, but Hillary (like Trump is/will be) would've been exposed and only been a one term president, and you'd literally have to be mentally challenged to vote her again, just like you'll have to be mentally challenged to vote for Trump again.

Trump invented the terms "pump priming" and "fake news"; now he invents movie ratings.

Proof that intelligence is an ashen promise is when it has to be used to debate stupidity. Glad to have you back Seth and Company !
Why stop at giving teachers guns and training them to be sharpshooters? Why not give them shields so they can block incoming fire? Why not have them carry around a dose of combat drugs that they can inject themselves with so they don't panic in a dangerous situation? Why not also train them to be ninjas so they can sneak up on the shooter? Why not genetically alter them so they gain power over magnetism so they can telekinetically stop bullets?

this was one of the most on point and funniest pieces i've seen in awhile. well done Seth and crew!
“Now the next part is very important. They are going to take you.”
“Goodbye, Tiffany”
I think part of the stupidity of arming teachers is that, often times, the shooter is a student or former student. Are we really going to ask teachers to kill someone they see every day? Or they taught and tried to nurture for four years? There are police officers and military personnel who feel a lot of trauma after they first kill a stranger. Can anyone expect a teacher to shoot at a child they once viewed as their own? A lot of teachers are now telling students "I'd take a bullet for you." What if that kid they told that to becomes a shooter? Will the teacher, or any person, not blink once before killing someone they would die for?
Grimm let's be real, here. Teachers HAVE taken bullets for their students. You're totally right, though
great point Grimm!
I saw a tweet a couple of days ago from a teacher who was asked by her students what she would do if there was a school shooting. She told them she would protect them with her life, but she was afraid that she couldn't do much because she's in a wheelchair. That's when they told her that they'd already decided: In the event of a shooter, they would carry her out and protect her. She cried. I'm feeling a little soggy again just repeating it. Any one of those kids has more backbone than Trump and all his bootlickers put together.
@@maryanneslater9675 that's heartbreaking. Students should not have to think about how there going to protect their teacher in the event of a school shooting. Teachers should not have to think about taking a bullet for their students. It shouldn't have to be something that even crosses their minds.

We have discussed this issue at length, and both agree that we would be significantly more uncomfortable in school if anyone present was armed. There should be no weapons in schools.
