I had neck pains, before i worked on my form. When doing this exercise try holding a straight line in your back and neck. Don't pull your neck forward when going up, use only your core. And start the movements slow to feel that you are using the right muscles

if you have some extra weight on try and and lose it, if ur already skinny then it's probably because you store more fat in your midsection than others. also in photos online most people are flexing their abs/holding in their stomach so that their stomachs look smaller. try and eat more protein because it fills you up easier and reduce the amount of sugar and salt you eat to reduce bloating. in the gym try and get some cardio in as well as weightlifting if you'd like. ik ur comment is old but hope this helps

As a beginner, I only did the movement 5 times for two weeks, after that I increased it to 10 times for a month, after the body received this movement, I increased the amount.
When you finish your abs workout, turn yourself fjat on your stomach straight your arms and elevate ur leg's. What's going 2 happen is your sbs are stretching giving them better and efficient ways to recover.
