Good video. I purchased a 3520 a year ago here in Canada. Mine is equipped with a backhoe and is open station. I am on 100 acres of mainly trees with miles of trails. The DK models will not fit on my trails so the CK is what I needed. Haved moved 60 ton of gravel and a lot of digging and love it. 340 hours on it already. Moved a lot of snow last winter for myself and some elderly neighbors. My good friend bought the DK 4720 and on close inspection I see it has heavier axles. I have always liked JD green but am now sold on Kioti.

In 2018 we were looking for a subcompact tractor, not really knowing what to look for. Deere and Massey were the closest dealers at 2 hrs away. 1025R with loader and backhoe was $26000 CDN, Massey GC1710 was $21000. Massey even changed the backhoe hoses to operate like an excavator, for no charge. Looking back with much more knowledge, we probably would have chosen Kioti or Mahindra.

I wish there was a Kioti dealer near me. The closest one is 10 hours away round trip. But we do have a really good local Bobcat dealer, and as far as I can tell, they are identical to Kioti. So I purchased a Bobcat CT4050, which is basically a 50hp DK. I put 70 hours on it in the first two months and couldn't be happier, great machine!

Similar situation for me the Kioti dealership is several hours away but I have a great Bobcat dealer 10min from my place. I've been very pleased with my ct2040hst that now has 150hrs on it. Very capable machine and I saved about $7k by going white paint instead of green or orange.

I looked at Bobcat very seriously because the closest dealer is 8 miles away. At the time in 2021, they did not have any models under 50hp with a cab. Almost every open station model was a stripped down model with no extras that I wanted. Sure would have made getting parts and servicing a lot easier. I now have to go 3 hours to find the nearest Kioti dealer. I am lucky so far that I have not had any warranty issues and I could get almost every part I needed sent to me in the mail.

I just finished mowing my pasture with my RX 6620 cab Kioti. Absolutely LOVE it!. So comfortable, so powerful, and loaded with features.. I looked at Deere, Kubota, New Holland, Case, and Yanmar...didn't even consider Mahindra after hearing horror stories about the engines and emissions systems. I think the Kioti was a way obvious better value than the other orange and green products. No Yanmar dealers could get a 59 hp tractor at the time. The loader capacity beats all of them. I eventually want to get a ck or dk for my wife (it's her choice). She will probably want a hydrostatic trans but I love the power shuttle shift of the RX.

I have a 2023 Kioti CK3520SE. I live on an 18 acre property at the end of a half mile long hilly gravel driveway. Couldn't be happier with the machine. It has done everything I've asked of it. Love the layout of everything and the quality of the cab is exceptional. When I was researching different tractor manufacturers I just couldn't get past the value of Kioti. There is a Deere dealer right in town and the prices of comparable machines just made me laugh. I have 2 Kioti dealers within a couple hours of me. Met with a Kubota dealer that is 15 minutes away and the guy was very rude. Got tired of my questions and told me I was "overthinking it". Sorry but if I'm about to drop $35k-$40k on a tractor I'm going to ask all the questions I want. The Kioti dealers were incredibly informative and answered every question with a smile.

Appreciate your opinion. Wanted to upgrade my L3800 to the 5400, priced way to high for no options. Bought a TYM loaded with more options than I was looking for and cost about 10k less. I loved my Kubota and wanted another one but it didn't make sense. TYM is working great and I'm 100% satisfied with its performance. I do my own service work too. It was between Kioti and TYM, the only reason I chose TYM was more standard options for the price.

Good video. I own the Kioti RX 7320 cab. LOVE IT. The only downfall I've seen with it vs. my Kubota is the hydraulics aren't nearly as smooth as the Kubota's are. Doing two functions with the loader at once on a Kioti is more difficult, as the "sweet spot" in the loader joystick is smaller, and when you DO do two functions at once, it's painfully slow. But that is my ONLY complaint with the Kioti. I've had zero issues with mine.
You've been getting into Kioti's for what, about six months now? And you're an intelligent person to begin with, so I'm betting that you're pretty darn familiar with the Kioti brand at this point.

I’ve had various older tractors, mostly the Ford Japanese four-wheel-drive. The largest and most recent was the 1710. They were great tractors the 1710 head up Curtis cab. No heat, no AC, etc..
Looking for a replacement to my beloved Ford, which was getting tired I had seen Kiotis with an active local dealer and was looking for used. I came upon a 4010 SCHST with a few attachments.
Bottom line I love the CK 4010 cab. The heat and AC is wonderful of course the music and podcast help. Lifting capabilities are unbelievable, and it feels very surefooted and secure, lifting heavy loads compared to the Iseki engine in the Fords they burn more fuel. That could be because it’s Hydro versus shuttle shift on the other tractors.
I went with a hunch comparing all the specs versus John Deere and Kabota, and I’m really happy that I bought Kioti. After the purchase, I’ve upgraded the snowplow from manual to Hydro adjustment and also added simple.Third function using the detent power beyond that came with the tractor. It actually has two power beyond one with detent and one with dedicated.
Things that I did to improve I added the radio I had changed but with arthritis I can’t install chains effectively so I bought grip studs for the rear tires and they perform well plowing. Vehicle I also use a PTO chipper and a few other implements.
Also replace the work lights front and rear with high visibility wide angle LEDs that make a big difference, especially plowing snow.
I would buy another Kioti in a heartbeat

I have a 1025R JD tractor on a .4 acre lot... Might be overkill, but who cares! It fits nearly anywhere I need it and it helps me do mulch, maintain our two gravel driveways, pull fence posts (yes I have those on my lot), work in the garden, and general moving of just about anything with the forks. I agree there is no such things as overkill, but on my lot I a 3 series JD equivalent tractor or larger just wouldn't be cost effective to own, and I can avoid the expensive government emissions crap on the bigger tractors as a bonus.

The glass shattering isn't even a tractor specific problem. It can happen with any tempered glass. I had a glass shower panel a few months ago and know two other people who had glass panels randomly shatter. It's a numbers game. Any imperfection can cause it to happen and the bigger the panel the more likely it is to happen and curves, textures, and tinting make it more likely to happen.

I shopped all major brands when I was looking for a capable loader tractor (horsepower, loader lift capacity, and frame size, standard features vs. price). I grew up with multiple large John Deere tractors on the family's large dairy farm. After thorough research and shopping it came down to LS and Kioti. These two brands just have more bang-for-the-buck. I ultimately purchased a DK4710 hydrostatic transmission with a cab, added a second rear remote, and a true front 3rd function. The major deciding factor over the LS was dealer proximity. Again, the farm still runs Deere, and I like the Grand L series of Kubota, but the Kioti was the best decision for the money and dealer proximity. I would recommend a Kioti to anyone seriously looking for a capable loader tractor.

The Kioti tractors offer great value for the money, that’s why in the last nine years I’ve owned three of them. Started out with a used LB1914 and at that time we had a dealer still in town. When I sold that tractor and went to buy another Kioti, I checked out both Kubota and John Deere first and could not justify the extra cost. Not only was the purchase price a problem, but then i had no money for the attachments i needed if I had purchased the Kubota or the John Deere. I first purchased a CK3510SE open station model, but i had to go 3 hours away to find the closest dealer in my state. (The dealer in town had shut their doors by then). Not being able to find a cab model in 2021, I sold the CK3510 to buy a CK2620SE cab model in 2023. Love this tractor, it does everything i need and more. Didn’t check out the DK because it was too large for my property and more than my budget at the time.

I'm slightly biased toward kioti because I sell them here at work, and I also own one. They are fantastic little tractors. I own a CK2510 open station with 780 hours on it. I use it semi-commercially on my side-farm market garden. It's tilled, loaded bins, cut grass, cultivated, plowed snow and rotary tilled year after year with no issues. I've so far replaced my tie-rods and that's it. I sell them but have the personal experiance to back the product.
As for the smashed glass, that happens to a lot of cabbed tractors, especially with curved glass doors. You'll not that the pull handle to shut the door from the inside isn't attached to the outer frame of the door and bolts through the glass instead. Great for visibilty, but your actually flexing and expanding that glass each time you pull on it because its curved. The pressue gets higher on the outer frame as you slam it shut to overcom the air pressure inside the cab to make it latch. I've done this with excavator glass doors before. BOOM! You are much likely to blow a door glass out from inside the cab than you are from shutting it from the outside.

The CK compares most closely to the Kubota L series, same weight and wheelbase, except Kioti is outcompeting Kubota by offering a stronger loader, a cab, and standard dual rear remotes at a lower price point. The DK competes most closely with the Kubota L3560 and Massey 1800M, same weight and wheelbase, but with Kioti you can go all the way up to 60Hp in that handy frame size. Kioti is crushing Kubota in this segment.

I have had the CK4010 SE cab for about 4 years. I have 160 acres, with only about 15 that needs to be mowed. It is fairly hilly in spots. But the tractor has been perfect. A bigger machine would be nice in a couple of the larger fields, but then I would pay for it in the woods, which is most of my property. Then only time I have had the tractor bog is in extremely thick grass and brush, probably 6 foot tall or more. (with a 60" brush cutter). but that is a rare occurrence. I think if you had larger fields and mowed often you could easily get away with a 72" brush cutter. Tractor comes with many nice extras and was cheaper than the comparable Kubota open station at the time I bought it.

I’m now an owner of both a Kioti and a Kubota. I’ve had a Kubota l3130dt for about 15 years and because I’m developing land about 3 hours away I needed another tractor. I now have a Kioti ck3510se with a cab. I should love the cab this winter but for now it stinks from the previous owners smoking habit. Kioti is HST and Kubota is Gear shift. The Kubota feels substantially larger and built more heavy duty. The axles are larger and tires are larger. The power steering on the Kubota feels smoother and requires less effort. The 2 main advantages of the Kioti are its loader has more lift capacity and it was cheaper than a comparable Kubota. I’m hoping I’ll love the Kioti in time but for now it just feels more “toy” like. I believe the DK would probably compare more fairly with the L model Kubota. BTW the Kioti cab is very well built. They’re so tight that one door is difficult to close with the other door and rear window closed. I’ve heard that they’re “sealed” cabs that have 4 air filters to protect the operator if they’re spraying a chemical. The downside is each one of those filters is $42.

Just got a CK2620SE HSE cab and a stump wrecker and versa forks from y’all. Loving it so far!
Would have loved the extra HP, but was willing to trade that off for losing the DPF bullshhhh!
And yes….thanks to you, I did get Rim Guard added as well!!!🤣
ProTip: The seat safety switch is very easy to bypass. Though Courtney would NEVER condone this action!🤣

Bought a CK4020SE Cab last fall. Wanted to upgrade to a cab tractor from my 2038R so I was looking at a 3039R Cab. The Kioti has a roomier cab (and it's not white like the Deere's) more options, a wide stance and was more than $15,000 less than the 3039R.

The problem that Kubota and Deere have overcome is a proven track record of quality and reliability over the decades.
It will simply take time for Kioti to get firmly established in the tractor marketplace. I can only say from my experience that I am totally satisfied 😊with my Kubota. My brother has a Kioti and he loves it!
Oh and I love the treadle pedal, it's totally natural motion and great for FL work and mowing.

      @@GoodWorksTractors Excuse me!
I didn't research their history and only over the last handful of years, has Kioti been a common name along with JD and Kubota, at least in central Ohio. I've heard many other brands of tractors for decades as well and Kioti was not mentioned along with IH, Case etc. etc.

I love the DK but I have A CK. SE and can't go wrong. Its been great tractor over 250 hours and just minor Maint.. one major issue axle shaft seal/bearing change myself only issue I have is the place I bought it would not give me the warranty on the parts. I will never take this tractor back to the place I bought it. After 3 times came back worse than when it left. I had to fix it myself. I hope all dealers are not like in FL. I have been a Michigan Lic Auto Mech. for years so I do it myself now. Even if I have to pay for the parts. I can fix it. as for the switch under the seat Amazon sells the jumper so when you get off the seat tractor will stay running. Sometimes I have to pull myself up to see the forks and don't want it to quit. works great.

I have a loaded every bell and whistle 2023 Kubota L6060 grand Nordic edition $93000 taxes included Canadian funds and a 2024 is now over 100K which is ridiculous. I do love it and has 400 trouble free hours. I can buy a 2024 TYM same hp but fewer features $53000 Canadian plus taxes. My next machine likely will not be JD or Kubota.

Just traded my L2501 for the CK2610 Cab. I absolutely loved my Kubota, but the heat, dust ,and elements pushed me to a cab tractor. I'm getting used to the Kioti. The hydraulics are nowhere on par with my Kubota, which just has better hydraulics. I hear a lot of complaints about the treddle peddle but I miss that too. lts what you use to. I will get used to this twin peddle. The Kioti has a lot more features than the L series. These tractors arent on the same level from someone owing both. I would have bought a Kubota Cab, but it was about $15k more and they are expensive enough. I love the comfort of the Kioti and cab and a/c. It’s a fine machine ,but I dont think they are on the same level. I guess a good example is like comparing a Toyota and a Kia? I like my Kioti, but I do miss my Kubota. Time will tell, I guess.

I've had a kioti cs2410 for 8 almost 9 years now. I'd have gotten the next size up, but I couldn't reach the pedals. I had major electrical issues with it since day one. It was to and from the shop (two hours round trip - their dime under warranty 7 times in one year) It's finally settled itself down. It turned out to be a loose battery terminal INSIDE the wire casing. Now it's back to just HATING the cold. I mean HATING it. Even with #1 diesel it loathes the prairie winters and I have to keep a trickle charger on it all year round. Couldn't beat the price though.

    • @WthrLdy
      @WthrLdy 3 місяці тому

It's also LOW to the ground, which for putting on some attachments is a problem, so we drive it up on some 8ton car ramps, attach the tool, and back down the ramps.
She also loathes tight turns and jerks. But once you've learned that, you're golden.

Bought a ck4210se I think it is. 68 and memory not what it used to be. Anyway, if you’re thinking about a Kioti, especially a hydrostatic drive…get all the horsepower you can stand. The drive system and the loader rob you on horsepower. I like the tractor, but when I tested it it seemed to have all I wanted. Now that I have it with loader on front and ballast on rear (recommended) it bogs down going up driveway. They say it’s 45 hp.

  • @rodgerneeb301

Courtney, something I have been looking for, but have not been seeing anywhere, is a pull scraper for a compact (approximately 3R size range) we are told that a rear blade is a high skill level implement in the 3 point, you mentioned the guide wheels help on the landscape rake, it just seems a long frame with a blade centered between the drive tires and guage wheels would be much easier to run correctly by a novice. I have found then used at a reasonable price, but intended to fit a FAR larger frame tractor. Is anyone making a small one?

  • @MrRockBluff
    @MrRockBluff 3 місяці тому

What are your thoughts on the CS2520? I've looked at the John Deere 1025r and even the 1023e version but they are so expensive! Been researching the Kioti Sub compacts and they seem like really good tractors. For me, it will be more of a mowing machine and finding uses for the loader. So, it won't get used by a few times a week most likely.

I’m in the process of looking for a tractor . I have no clue on what I’m doing or anything about tractors. I don’t know what size I need for my size of land (20 Acres)
I want to plant my own crop , and pick up my own bales . Is there a reason why you don’t mention the price or price range for these tractors ? It would be very helpful.

Seems like it would be pretty easy to fix your large gripe with the aux hydraulic control levers…. Make a clamp on or bolt on extension to bring it up forward of the arm rest or out to the outside of the armrest. If you only knew someone who fabricated stump buckets and such…

I called my kubota dealer (we own an excavator) to see if they serviced Kioti tractors. The guy in service said yes but then (in a conspiratorial tone) cautioned me to be very careful as they were poorly made with cheap parts! Yet every single video I've seen about these tractors, even non-sponsored ones, are extremely positive and say they're very well built with quality construction, parts, functions, etc. What is YOUR experience on this?
